Book POV 

Waking up my team was a hard task. Most of them are night owls at heart so I quickly resorted to shaking them awake.

The other early riser was Cake, who usually woke up because the usual time he started making food for us was around 8.

Once I waved him over that I was awake, he had told me that our practice session was canceled due to an urgent event happening with the team. "Look, I know you were looking foward to the meeting, but apparently the live house had a power outage. They gave us tickets to a carnival though, that might seem fun for us." Eventually, he searched up events going on near the carnival and found a marching band was playing. Well, technically not a full band but a group of people were playing on a stage with woodwind instruments. You get the point.

"It says here that they're going to play at two thirty , so we have time for activities," Cake points out. We're both sitting at the small desk waiting for the others to wake up. We both decided planning out the activities was for the greater good. 

"What im getting at here is that we should split up and go is groups of three and four?"

"That's right.. so then after the concert, Pie told me that they should be free by then and we can hold a mini concert for them." He finishes, turning to me. I suggested that we should try and meet up with the band that's preforming, but Cake shook his head. "You cant, after the preformance they take part in the parade. If Pie's band doesn't mind waiting for us then we can, if you want." Sighing, I go back to my bed and start shaking Price Tag.

"Hey, we're going to see a marching band today." They don't respond and only shuffle around in bed, which looks smaller now that she's spread out on the bed. "There's going to be a parade after that, and we could possibly meet them.." 

Confused, Cake looks at me. "What are you doing? I thought you wanted to see them to get Inspiration?" 

"I do."

I keep shaking Taggy until I pop the question.

"Do you want to meet them? Im pretty sure they have some cool outfits that you might want to leech off of.." As im still petting her back they immediately sit up and rotate their body towards me, eyes sparkling. "Really? I need to see them, right now!"

After waking everybody up, we start walking over to the carnival, which was set up a few miles away from the venue. Over the course of our walk, there were a few stores on the way there. As we wait for Naily to get out of the same cafe Price Tag had went in the day before, I spot Fanny walking back and forth next to a electronics shop. She's talking to herself so I lightly tap her on the shoulder. She turns to me, looking annoyed and worried.

"What do you want?!" Her outfit now consists of a black shirt with a blue and white jacket on top. She's also wearing frayed jeans, which almost looks big on her since it almost covers her shoes.

"I thought you guys were dealing with an event and a power outage? What's going on?"

Fanny looks at me and says something to herself before responding with "I hate explaining the current situation at hand, but okay." She picks up her phone and starts texting someone before gesturing me to sit on the bench.

"Apparently, although the rain was light it was very windy, which tore our powerline down before we started practicing. We had to get an electrician to help us out here." She plays with the drawstrings on her jacket before continuing. "Tree's also inside of the other resturant over there getting us food."

"That still doesn't explain why you are outside of a electronic store." I replied, which made Fanny pull on the drawstrings again. "Me and Tree are at the electronics store where a friend of his, Basketball works part time at. If the powerline went down, the electricity also went out which made Remote 'pass out'. We're here to patch her up because she wasn't responding when we all woke up this morning." Looking at her, she looks concerned for her so I gently pat her back. "It's fine, she's in good hands, i think. The reason why Remote passed out was because she's connected to the electronics in a way, right?"

Before Fanny could answer a tall girl with curly brown hair waved at us over the electronics shop and walked over.

"Since your power went out, Remote didn't charge last night, letting her slowly 'die' overnight. I put her in a little charging pod to boot back up." I assume this girl is Basketball, because she's wearing a steampunk-casual style. Looking behing her I could see Price Tag taking note of her outfit. "Hang on, what's a charging pod?" The tall girl looks over at me and explains. "A charging pod is the equivalent to a power bank. If you dont have a plug with you, you only take the cord with it and plug it in. The same goes with Remote, if she doesn't have a proper charging port, we would have to place her into a pod where she can rest while also charging."

Suddenly, a girl who has the same sleeves as Remote opens the door to the electronic store, her hair tied into two low ponytails. Shes wearing that looks to be a wearing a green jacket with blue jeans. "I JUST WOKE UP, WHAT'S GOING ON?!" she asks, in a loud voice. Thinking about it, she sounds like that supermodel, Flower.

"You mean we woke up," Remote suggests, popping behind her. She's dressed in the same baggy shirt from yesterday, and some sweatpants. "Good morning." Basketball walks over to them, carefully checking both of their battery levels. "Fully charged. You two should be heading off now, right?" She asks, pointing to the two of us. From the looks of it, Naily is waving me over, so I walk towards them. "What's up?" 

"I got some savory treats this time so we could hit up the vendors that sell deserts at the carnival!" she explains, giving a flat disc of bread to me. "Both Nickel and I had this, you wanna try?" I nod, and pop a piece of it into my mouth. 

"Wow, thats actually kinda good!" I complement, ripping apart the bread before she snatches it away from me. "Don't finish everything, Book. You know we need to save it for the way there!" Naily teases, pulling me over to the group. Most of them had already taken a piece of food from the bag Bomby was holding, so I fished into the plastic and got a cheese bun. "Oh, I've had one of those before!" Cake points out before he spots Fanny. "Waiit.. I thought you guys were dealing with a power outage!" She rolls her eyes and lets out a long sigh again. "Book, can you just- explain to your team about what's going on? I've had to explain this twice already." Before we could've said anything, both Nickel and Price Tag are both running in the direction of the carnival. "There's already a long line to grab tickets, so me and Price Tag are going to go in line, okay?" 

"Yeah, I don't mind!" Naily says, before bumping into someone as she turns back to us. One of them had short, red hair tied up, while one of them had messy brown hair. The both of them looked at eachother silently before the boy nudged the girl. "Pin. I think this is the band Tree told us about." "The new band?" Pin asks. "Coiny, it's we can just lead them into the carnival without letting them pay, we-" 

"That's EXACTLY what we'll do!" he says, taking my hand. "Let's go!"

We arrive near a small enclosed corner before Coiny knocks on the door twice. Opening it, a girl with light grey hair that falls to her waist. "Woah, are these the new members Black Hole and Tree told us about? It's GREAT to meet you!" She says, shaking my hand rapidly. It's weird how she emphasizes the word 'Great', but none of the other people in the room seem to mind it. "You guys stay here while we try and sneak you in," A girl says, looking to have messy brown hair tied into a small bun. "Barf Bag, I don't think we should do that.." Pin reluctantly suggests before another person agrees. "Yeah, I dont think we should either." This makes Coiny wince a bit, but a tall, and slender person walks into the room, carrying Nickle with Price Tag behind her. She carefully sets him down on a chair and walks to get a bandage. Her hair is the same length as that other girl, bit this time tied up, making her look more athletic in a way. "Nice going, Needy!" Coiny says, in an attempt to tease her. She stops tending to Nickel and slaps him, looking directly into his eyes. "That's why you shouldn't call me 'Needy', I actually go by Needle." her finger then points to two people standing near a closet, one behind it and one infront of it. "That girl checking out the clothes is Gaty, while the guy standing in the way is-"

"Is that Donut?!" Cake asks, running up to him and hugging him. Donut was caught by suprise with that quick move, but wasn't hesitant to hug Cake back. "Oh, hey." He says, ruffling his hair. Donut has the same dark skin as Cake and Pie, but lighter. 

"By any chance, do you know Pie?" I ask. After a while, he nods. "Yeah, we're cousins. That's why she reached out to me and let us know that you were coming.

Behind the closet, Gaty holds up seven wristbands. We can't really see them, so she begins to jump letting us see them.

"Since classes start tomorow, the carnival figured to discount the students and let them play unlimitedly, so we snagged some of them before the passes were all taken," Barf Bag explains, while Pin opens the door with a defeated breath. "Go and have fun, we'll see you at the parade!"
