Jungkook plopped down on his bed and let out a big sigh with relief after he short out things with the girl.
He already told his mother about Taehyung and his mother looked so happy to finally realized the one his son was talking about is non other than her best friend's son. She tried to contact her friend after she moved to States oblivious of the fact that the couple had already passed away.
After she couldn't contact them, she was always been curious about where they might be but was too busy to search for them so she gave up. But when she heard about them from Jungkook, she couldn't hold up her tears and felt so sorry for the poor kids who might gone through so much at that time yet felt so relief that Jungkook found them and that's when she realized why his son was so desperate about him that he even got the guts to come against his father.
She knew how Jungkook always cares for Taehyung since their childhood. Despite of being younger than Taehyung, Jungkook always took care of the older knowing how fragile Taehyung was and could easily get hurt from small things. When they had to leave for States, even Jungkook cried a lot in Taehyung's absence, he was too attached to the older that their separation did a lot of negative impact on the young kid that his mother had to made him not to think about the older and eventually, with his busy schedules, Jungkook couldn't remember Taehyung at first. But now, he recalled the memories of every single moments he spent with him.
At first, Jungkook was a shy little boy who couldn't even looked up his face to meet eyes with someone new but Taehyung was a cheerful kid who get friendly with anyone easily. He managed to drag Jungkook out from his shell to face the world, for which Jungkook's mother is thankful for, but never knew he would be the one to take care of the older.

Jungkook let out a big sigh as he realized all he need to do is to convince his father who is still in hostpital and Taehyung of course because he haven't even contacted him for days for what he regretted the most.

But the only thing that's bothering him was what he would tell to Taehyung. He couldn't even reveal himself who he was, he couldn't even make Taehyung remember about him because he was scared if he will worsen the situation. And if he told him about the cancellation of his wedding, he was even more scared that he might lose his most precious person because to Taehyung, he's still a stranger and a client who hired him for his wedding's decorations. He was scared if Taehyung would just walk away saying they have nothing to talk about.

"Kim Taehyung-ssi... can we meet now?"

Jungkook didn't even wait for Taehyung to utter a single word since he was desperately waiting for Taehyung to pick up his call after ringing for 4-5 times.

"Now? Jeon Jungkook-ssi, isn't it a bit late to meet now..?"
Taehyung answered with his deep voice that gotten even more deeper since he was speaking from his sweet sleep, the voice which Jungkook missed the most.

"No, I don't think so. Even if it's late, I'll be right there because I have something to say."

"Let's meet tomorrow Jeon Jungkook-ssi. It's too la---"

But Jungkook already cut off the call before Taehyung could even finish his words.

Jungkook was smiling widely the whole way to Taehyung's house.
He missed those big puppy doe eyes innocently pierced right through his soul, those blonde shiny soft hair that covers his hardly seen well shaped forehead, those jaw line that sharpened  his well sculptured face, those soft lips that always curls up into a boxy smile that enhances the already ethereal gorgeous face... well... he missed Taehyung so badly.

All of these thoughts had engulfed his mind that he didn't even realized he had already reach Taehyung's house.
His smile grew even wider when he saw Taehyung standing in front of his gate, already waiting for him.

"Did I made you wait for too long?"

Jungkook asked after he parked his car in front of him with his eyes fixed at those clear sleepy eyes that were looking eveywhere except at him.

"No... I just came out."

Taehyung replied with a yawn. He was still in his half sleep with his eyes half opened but still managed to pull up his gorgeous yet cutest look even being just got up from sleep.

"What is that you wanted to say?"

Taehyung asked with an expressionless face, with a memory of Jungkook laughing cheerfully with the girl that suddenly popped up into the back of his mind.

Jungkook just wanted to engulf the small sleepy bear into his arms and tell him everything. But he was scared, scared of losing him again, scared of the thought that Taehyung might get the attack again, scared if he would ruin his happiness. So he restrained himself from ruining everything, with a deep breath,

"Did I woke you up? I'm sorry if I disturbed you."

"Uh..? No."
Taehyung shook his head scratching it trying to open his eyes which was too adorable to handle for Jungkook that he scrunched his nose watching the small frame started to dozed off again.

"Kim Taehyung-ssi... are you that sleepy?" Jungkook chuckled, also feeling pity for waking up this poor sleepy bear.

"Hmm... no.. not... no..."

"If you are that sleepy, you can go back, we'll talk later. I'm really sorry for waking you up."

"No no... it's ok. I'm not sleepy anymore now... sorry", Taehyung finally open his eyes fully awakened with an awkward smile.
"So... what did you wanted to say?"

"Umm... can we go for a walk?"

"Now??" Taehyung widen his eyes.

"Yeah..?" Jungkook scratched the back of his head.

"Isn't it late now Jeon Jungkook-ssi? Can't we talk here?"

"Uhh... it's...uh..."

Taehyung sighed.
"Hmm... ok... let's go."

Jungkook smiled as he followed Taehyung who already started walking in front of him.

Both were sitting on a bench near a park, but little farther away from each other on each ends of the bench with silence taken over the environment. Since it was midnight, even the birds might have already slept that they couldn't hear any sound around them except for their breaths.

"It's been a while"
Jungkook suddenly broke the silence.

"Woah... we met just few days back. I don't think it was that long to even say that"
Taehyung chuckled awkwardly.

But to Jungkook, he really meant it when he said those words because it's really been 16 years they haven't met each other. He knew Taehyung will not have any idea of what wanted to mean so he just nodded and just shrugged his shoulders while his mind and heart wanted to scream how much he missed him.
"So... how have you been doing?"

"Uh... nothing much. I was just busy with some works."

Silence occupied the atmosphere again after Jungkook nodded his head.

"So... you said you wanted to say something right?"
Taehyung asked to break the awkward silence.

"Uh..? Umm... that's... um... my wedding... it's... uh... it's postponed!"

Jungkook suddenly slipped out those unexpected words even for himself. He couldn't think of anything right at the moment. He just wanted to see his face because he missed him and he couldn't find any way to meet him other than just for work so he ended up saying it plus, he was scared to say the truth because he thought he might not have any other reason to see him again.

"Ah... I see", Taehyung just nodded, "Till when?"

"Uh..? Aahh... T-two months?"

"Ah... ok..."

Taehyung didn't reacted much but just nodded his head as the tip of his fingers started playing with the long sleeves of his sweatshirt that half-covered his long fingers with heads hanging down and that was enough for Jungkook to regret of what he just said. A big fat lie.

"Um... so... I don't need to prepare anything further for now right?"
Taehyung said with his head still hung down.

"Ah... well... Yeah... um... now you can to do whatever you used to do before. You don't need to pressure yourself."
Jungkook mentally slapped himself for lying to the innocent fluffy ball who looked up at him with a nod.

"So... is that all you wanted to say?"

"Well... yeah..."
Jungkook scratched the back of his head.

"Then you could've told me on the phone. I thought something important came up."

"It's important tho."

"Yeah... but... you could've just said it on the phone instead of coming here in the midnight. It's getting cold now and you're not even wearing warmer clothes, and you came without your driver. What if something happen--"

"Wait... are you worrying about me?"

Jungkook cut off Taehyung with a chuckle, eyes on those lips which started to form a cute pout.

"No... I'm saying it because you broke my baby sleep."
Taehyung huffed and turned his face to the sides to hide his pink blushed cheeks which was too obvious.
Well... his mind had already decided to ignore Jungkook and try to move on but there he goes, his heart still cared for him and that's what he hated the most. Mind can't just ignore something the heart is willing to.

"Well... I had something more important too, other than just saying it to you."
Jungkook said with a smile at the adorable site with his mind being revolved by the sentence,
"He's still the same."

"Like what?"

"Like... seeing your face?"

"W-what??"

"Yeah... because I can't see you if I call you and just tell it on phone unless it's facetime. And I wanted to see your face."

Taehyung blinked his eyes with shock since it wasn't what he expected 'the Jeon Jungkook' would ever spilled out from his mouth.

"B-but... w-why d-did you wanna see m-my face?"

Jungkook could see how flustered Taehyung was which he found it too adorable.
He couldn't resist his hand from pinching his nose ruffling his soft smooth hair.

"Because I miss you idiot."

Well... just wanted to share that I went to watch Bring The Soul. And it really sends me to a rollercoaster emotions. 🤧😭 we laughed, we cried, we screamed...🤧 ok... I just wanna say I love these 7 precious souls so so so much...
