JANUARY'S WORTH 

Tonight I sat and thought

Of all of last year's worth

I shed some tears and smiles

My emotions running miles

But did I stop to think

How January might stink

All the schools are opening

But not all kids eloping

The weather as cold as ice

Ice,ice,ice, I said that thrice!

But upon all that cold

My heart is beating bold

Cause after January brings

The beauty of spring

Tonight I sat and mulled
