You may be wondering where we all went from there, what we all went on to do with our lives.

For most of us, the career paths we chose were very different from each other, but we all managed to stay in contact just the same. Destiny found happiness in pursuing a career in photojournalism, though she continued to D.J. as a hobby sometimes. Jessie managed to earn a degree in media arts, going on to become a video game developer.

As for Shadowmist, our career continued to be successful long after we graduated from high school and post-secondary (which we took a hiatus to focus on, something most of our fans were very supportive and patient with us about). Evanescence continued to be a great source of inspiration for us, especially when they would go on to release an album called 'The Bitter Truth' over the course of 2020 and 2021.

Leanne, Mickey, Sean, Nancy and Elizabeth did not stay in contact with each other, from what I heard from Leanne. Well, apart from Leanne and Mickey – their relationship continued to this day, and they were even thinking of getting engaged.

As for Vanessa, none of us ever heard from her again – not even me.

The memories we had all shared together would surely last us a lifetime, and I knew we would all cherish them forever.

The years I spent in college lead me to becoming a social worker, something my friends had always told me I would be amazing at. And according to the people who would become my clients, they had been right in telling me so.

It wasn't just careers we focused on, though – love was also a huge part of our futures...most of them, anyway.

Jessie may not have found anyone she wanted to be romantically involved with, but she did go on to adopt a little girl named Hailey, who was so much like her in terms of personality that you'd swear she was biologically Jessie's.

Nicole and Bridgette were still together, and Destiny had found a new love that was everything her ex had not been. Best of all for her was that he lived in the same town as the rest of us, so they could see each other as much as they liked and, as an added bonus, we all got to meet him and discovered how nice of a guy he was. We all agreed that he was good for her, after knowing him long enough.

As for Alex and Josh, they stayed together through everything, even if they did have their disagreements sometimes, and they eventually got married. Alex even gave birth to a son, who they named Ethan.

As for me...I never moved on from Dallas. I still wore his ring, even now. I had tried dating a few times, but nothing ever came of it.

My heart would always belong to Dallas, but I was no longer in pain. I was at peace, and despite not being able to fall in love again, I was happy with where I was.

Especially because I knew that what Dallas and I had shared would always live on in my memories.
