Anyway, this is a long intro so I hope you enjoy the book so far and please vote and comment your opinions.

I wake up to darkness. My face feels oddly squished.

'What the?'

I lift my hand to touch my face by I feel soft fur. I soon realise what it is and push it off.

"Toothless. Stop lying on my face." I groan. He responds by licking my cheek. I go downstairs and I sit in the living room.

"Goodmorning Hiccup." A soft voce greets.

"Morning mum, morning dad." I reply.

"How was your sleep son?" Dad asks.

"It was fine apart from when I awoke to Toothless draped over my face." I reply, out of the corner of my eye I see Toothless, who had followed me down and started licking himself, look up innocently.

I talk a little more with my parents and then I go up to get ready. I run out the door towards my car to see a red Mini pass by. Unusual. Merida hardly ever uses her own car. That worried me more.

When I got to school, everyone looked at me, girls commenting me and asking me to go to their houses and stuff, then making way for me. The usual. I go to my locker and am greeted with Kristoff, who also happens to be my locker buddy.

"Sup?" He asks, rummaging through his locker.

"Not much. Have you seen Mer?" I ask.

"Yeah. Is she okay?" Even when 'The Big 4' was around, Flynn and Kristoff still hung around. They hung out with Merida and I while Jack was in a relationship with Punzie.

Then one night, Rapunzel went over to Flynn's house crying about something, and they ended up have a make out session and feeling attractions towards each other. Then they avoided each other because of their feelings towards each other, and since they were still Jack's friends. Then they couldn't resist and that's when Jack found them.

 I was surprised when he said he was 'fine' about it but you could see the disbelief in his eyes. The thing about Jack is that he's an emotional guy. If he's sad of lonely then he hides it. If he's angry he turns into a sarcastic asshole who you don't want to mess with.

"I don't know. She even took her own car today!" I state.

"So? Maybe she wants to go to school by herself. You know, change. "He says, as if it's the most obvious thing in the world.

"She never takes her own car, she claims that 'she doesn't want to be alone all the time'." The reason rolling of my tongue.

"Strange." He wonders.

"Hey! Hiccup!" I hear behind me.

"That's my cue." Flynn states, flashing me a smirk before walking off.

"Hey Astrid?" I ask when I turn.

"Yeah. Why are you so surprised?" She asks while slightly punching my shoulder.

"I don't know." I state, accidently letting out a small chuckle.

"So what class have you got first?" She asks, glancing at me.

"Biology." I state, groaning a little.

"What's wro-"

"WATCH OUT!" A male voice shouts, Astrid and I duck just in time to see a basketball hurtling over our heads.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean for it to get out of control." He states. I straighten up and glance up to see Troy Bolton, the captain of the basketball team.

"Oh my gosh are you alright? Troy I told you not to play basketball in the corridors, people could get hurt." A female voice questions.

"Sorry Gabriella, I won't do it again." Troy states just as his girlfriend Gabriella comes up behind him.

"I'm so sorry." Troy states with concern.

"It's okay." I answer.

"Yeah, no-one got hurt." Astrid pipes in.

"OW!"

"Except maybe them." I say as we all chuckle.

"Well we gotta go but I'm sorry, it won't happen again." He states before smiling at Gabriella.

"Okay. Bye." Astrid says with a smile while waving. They both nod and leave back the direction that they came. Although Gabriella parts, going her own way. To class probably.

"Well, I gotta go." Astrid announces, saying a small bye, before leaving.

I look around me before going to Biology. I enter and take the last empty seat, which happens to be next to Scott McCaul, Captain of the Lacrosse team.

"Hi." He greets.

"Hi." I reply.

"I saw you with Astrid on my way here." He states, just as his friend Styles turns.

"Yeah, are you two together?" He asks. I look at him strangely before he gives me a reason.

"My cousin Thomas wants to know."

"Oh. No, we aren't." I reply, blushing furiously. His cousin Thomas looks exactly like Styles and is on the boys sprint team. Them two together can equal trouble.
