Sophie POV : 

Sophie couldn't sleep anymore . 

That dream , what was it about ??? 

Could it be a memory ?? But why was it so dark and black and weird ??? 

Why couldn't she see anything but she could black but she could hear voices ??? But the voices were familiar !! 

" Sophie , why do you look so tired ?? " said a voice 

Sophie nearly had a heart attack . Where did Grady come from . 

" I couldn't sleep " replied Sophie 

" Nightmares ?? " guessed Grady 

" Yeah " 

" Well , I have to go " 

" Where ?? It's the middle of the night " 

" Uhh , it's the afternoon !! " 

" WHAT ?? " 

" Calm down !! All your friends are already here , they're waiting for you in the living room " 

" Why didn't any of you wake me up ?? " 

" We thought you were sleeping , if I didn't randomly check your room , we would still think you're sleeping " 

" Good to know , what if I died while I was sleeping ??? Would you not wake me up ?? " 

Grady didn't answer . He sighed . 

" Just wear your clothes , and go to the living room , I'll go join them " 

Sophie jumped out of her bed and took a simple shirt that was coloured ( guess what ?? ) 

Black . And then she got closer to her mirror and . 

" What the hell happened to you ?? " asked Vertina " You look like you had a fight with a cat and the cat won " 

" Listen Vertina " started Sophie " I'm not really in the mood of you whining and wanting to change me " 

" I don't whine " 

" Yes you do , and I bet that you'll start whining afterwards about being stuck in a room full of dust like an animal and whatever , now if you excuse me , I need to go " 

And she got out of the room before Vertina gets to argue . 

That's when it hit her . 

"The moment you understand , you will get stabbed in the back " 

Stabbed in the back ?? 

Could there be a traitor between us ?? 

That could explain how the Neverseen always win , they're always a step ahead of us . 

Sophie started to picture all her friends . 

Biana , Keefe , Tam , Stina , Dex , Marella , Fitz , Monica . 

Monica !!! We don't know a lot about her !! It could be her , after all , it can't be a coincidence that she knows Lady Vespera . 

Sophie inhaled . She was probably just paranoid but she needed to know : 

Is Monica a traitor ??
