hey all, seems that you got interested enough to click on this book--thank you for that! this was already explained in the description and title, but in case you missed any details about the book:

in this book I will be writing about my memories and incidents that have happened in the past. I've gone through a lot, so there will be emotional chapters--but also light-hearted and fun stories, so don't worry. one of the biggest things I want to mention is that I'd love to hear some of your guys' stories and memories, whether they are similar to mine or totally random--both are more then welcome. :)

anyway, enough rambling--now it's time for the teaser of the first chapter. 

lifeguard on duty; story I

My bare feet walked up the steps in rhythm, splashing the cold water in the process. I held a large water tube under the crook of my arm--forever grateful that the weight of the floaty was bearable. Once I arrived at the top of the stairway, I felt my drenched braids fall forward as I put the tube down next to the slide. My sister stood on top of the waterslide while starting to get into her own tube. I listened to the water rushing as I stood patiently, but I couldn't help but notice a attractive young adult looking at me. I smiled meekly, since I wasn't used to that type of attention. The man happened to be the lifeguard who was in charge of this particular slide. Once my sister was pushed into the depths of twists and turns, I put my tube onto the top of the moving water and started to attempt to get in. Before I was thrust into the whirlwind of water, the--admittingly cute--lifeguard asked a simple question. I knew as soon as the words escaped his lips, that he was interested in me.

"What is your name?"

so, that is the teaser for the first chapter that will soon be posted. I know that it may sound creepy how he says "what is your name" like he's a stalker, but don't worry--that wasn't the case, haha. stay tuned for the first ever chapter of "memories." and feel free to tag anyone you think would enjoy these stories!
