11: Part Three of a Three-Part Visit

"Introduce yourself." Gouhin pushed you between the old horse, who you knew as the beastar who had saved you, and a komodo dragon.

"The horse already knows me..." You muttered and turned to the side, wiping away the tear residue in the corner of your eyes. Gouhin looked at the two other animals searching for sympathy. You were a hard case, not because you were especially heartless, but because you didn't know how to make your own decisions.

"If I could speak first, perhaps that would help the young woman." The lizard spoke first. "I had a daughter, although very charismatic naturally, who often wouldn't want to introduce herself. 'If they don't already know me, that's not my problem' she would say. It was funny when she was small, but quickly came off of pretentious. So I had this talk with her. As you say, 'Hello, my name is....' your energy has introduced itself already.

In a space full of people or in a space with just one, our energy is the invisible hand that is put out before we even open our mouths to say our given name. It is the invisible field which travels a foot in front of us when we enter a room and the residue left behind when we leave it. It is the imprint we leave on the space we have occupied. And the only person responsible for this invisible out-reached hand, invisible field, residue, and imprint is not the person who is judging it, but the person who is bringing it. You must be the one to control how others see you. They're not likely to change it."

"Gouhin just said that to me..." You spoke quietly and turned to the reptile, now interested. He had a familiar tone to his voice; one that was soothing.

"I'm sure he did, just as sure as you aren't quite ready to fully believe it. After all, surely we have all been guilty of having a bad day and entering a room with our baggage, but how many of us made sure to leave it by the door so nobody else had to carry it? Surely, we all have been guilty of judging a stranger, after all, what do you think of me?"

"I think you're kind..." Yahya rolled his eyes at the way you hung onto every word. Everyone always loved Gosha, and he supposed it was this energy that he brought.

"And I appreciate it! But how many of us have reflected on that judgment at that moment? If we are judging this stranger based on the energy they entered the room with, how is our energy reflecting us as a person? Surely, we all have been guilty of blaming an argument on the other party, but how many of us have taken the time to reflect on the energy we brought into the space to allow things to escalate? Surely, we all have been guilty of falling prey to existing negative energetic fields, but how many of us have taken the time to change our own energetic contribution to change the frequency of a room? If I let Yahya's attitude control me, I would be a very unhappy, unsatisfied person." Everyone except Yahya chuckled. "A space is a place of potential. Potential to be transformed into the world which best reflects our intentions. It is out of those intentions we create the world we are living and participating in. Energy flows into our intentions and there is no better person than ourselves to ensure our energy is providing our intentions with the very best our heart has to offer. Every space deserves it and you have the responsibility to bring it. Now, with all of that said, could you introduce yourself?"
