I think I should've used Alabama in the title of last chapter bc he was the one being hurt uh so I might change that later

He was getting tired, Indiana wasn't showing any signs of stopping and it was getting harder to block his hits.

"Indi, please, I don't want to hurt you." He tries again to reason with the other, still hoping to block any incoming blows, "please, I know this isn't you-"

"He isn't listening right now," Indiana snarls, swinging at Alabama's head, "give up now, he won't see it."

Alabama tries again to catch Indiana's hand before it hits, but Indiana is faster, sucker punching him in the gut, grinning as he gasps and falls forward.

"Please, you don't have to do this," there are tears in his eyes when he looks back up at Indiana, "Indi-"

He winces when Indiana yanks his hair, pulling his head back, "I told you, he isn't listening right now." Indiana lets go and Alabama squeezes his eyes shut, waiting to be hit again, "oh my god- 'bama, I can't- I can't stop him-" Indiana chokes back a sob, stumbling back, " I don't want to hurt you."

"I know-" Alabama wants to walk forward, pull him into a hug and tell him everything would be fine, "Indi-"

"He's going to kill you," Indiana tells him, and Alabama can see the tears in his eyes, "'bama you have to leave or call someone, I can't- I can't lose you-"

"You won't, I promise."
