Possession (Indiana)
Tw: Possession/loss of control, kidnapping
His ears are ringing, his limbs feel heavy. He isn't sure where he is, vision flooded with static. Everything burns, how long has he been walking?
The static fades long enough for him to notice trees, a faint voice in the back of his mind urging him to go forward. He goes, slow at first, breaking into a sprint as he draws nearer. He shakes his head as the static starts to fill in again, he would make it.
When the static fades again, he's at the statehouse, staring at the front door. His hand hovers over the handle.
"Go in" He hesitates, was something wrong?
He hears what sounds like a groan before the static returns.
He's pulled out of it by Alabama pulling him closer and telling him he was worried.
Why would he be worried?
He wasn't gone that long.
Someone pulls him to the side when he arrives and he shouts, trying to shove them away. They don't let go, putting a hand over his mouth and dragging him behind the store. He was losing consciousness, fast.
He went to the store, didn't he?
He wakes up, a figure by the door. The walk over and crouch down in front of him, hand moving to cup his cheek. They smile and tell him it'll be over soon, he wouldn't need to worry much longer.
What did he get?
When he wakes up, his head feels fuzzy and he tries to stand, but he can't get his legs to move. His eyes flicker over to the door upon hearing the lock click. Someone walks in, odd look in their eyes and tells him to be patient.
It should've taken a few minutes, did he take too long?
He asks the next time someone comes in, what they want with him. They grin telling him that he would be very useful to them later.
Ohio and Alabama are giving him concerned looks but he's already falling back into the static.
He's outside somewhere, surrounded by trees. He doesn't remember getting there, but a voice tells him to go forward and he does, dull ringing in his ears. He needs to obey.
He's thrashing wildly, begging Alabama and Ohio though tears to let him go, telling them he's back and that's it's him so they can let go.
Why wouldn't it be him?
Somewhere in the back of his mind, he's told to attack, it horrifies him at first and he tries to hold back the static, but it starts to burn and he cries out an apology before going slack in their hold.
