It was a nice cloudy night you and your boyfriend of four years were walking next to a clear lake the stars reflected beautifully against the surface of the water." So how are you enjoying the walk y/n" Melvin asked softly gazing softly at you, " very much, we never get to do anything like this" you said leaning softly on him" well Isuzu isn't exactly approving of you and me" Melvin said softly pulling you into one of those couple hug walks. After a bit of walking you both reached the bench where you two meet," have to thank Marik for this" you said suddenly " whys that?" Melvin said tightening his grip on you" for introducing us" you said not afraid of his on and off possessiveness " oh, right , I wasn't exactly the best person then" Melvin said relaxing " I still remember the day.

~ Flashback~

It was after the battle city tournament and you were walking with your close friends Marik and Ryou, you liked Ryou but he was going out with his Yami, Bakura, Bakura was ok, he was more of a nuisance the a friend, and Marik had saved you from being beat up at school, that's when you saw a man wearing a dark purple black coat, khaki pants and a black tang top, he had the most unusual hair it's well. Before you could ask, Ryou had already ran off, he was a skittish person, and Marik was frozen In fear" who's that ?" You asked him confused 

" h-he's " marik couldn't finish his sentence from fear, so you did the logical thing " OI WHO ARE YA?" You yelled to the hot man, oh did I mention he was HOT.you walked over to him, afraid of who ever he was, you could hear Marik yelling your name but you ignored him.you were now facing the man" would you like a hug?" The man asked politely " sure" you said hearing Marik's frantic yells, maybe he was trying to warn you " Y/N DON'T HUG HIM!" Marik yelled you ignored him and gave the man a hug.

After that day you learned the mans name was Yami Marik or Melvin as you called him, you two fit together perfectly but others would stare oddly

~ End of flashback~ ( not good at flashbacks I'm sorry)

Melvin snapped you out of your thoughts, he was about two inches from your face, he looked like a crazed cat thing " Melvin to y/n do you copy?" Melvin said playfully "y/n to Melvin permission to land?" You asked smiling" permission granted" Melvin said before kissing you softly, Melvin pulled away quickly and led you to the bench siting down and pulling you on his lap before continuing what you started, he playfully licked your bottom lip demanding entrance, you granted his entrance as he explored his already claimed territory. You both pulled away blushing, you leaned on his chest losing to his heart, it was fast one minute then changed to a slower beating the next, it was random; you felt Melvin stroking your hair softly "still enjoying this my little winged dragon?" Melvin said using your rare nickname" yep" you said softy burying your face in his chest. 

You both say there for what seemed like hours, " Isuzu will be wondering where I am, walk you home?" Melvin said, you nodded, you knew Melvin didn't like leaving you he liked having you near him, it calmed him.you both walked to the house you owned, Melvin was moving his stuff over to your place, all he needed was Isuzu's permission and you would be waking up to your sunflower god every morning." Thanks for walking me home Melvin, see you tomorrow?" You said and asked " tomorrow" Melvin said kissing your forehead, walking away.

Melvin's pov

I was walking away from y/n's house back to my shared home, it hurt every time if left her, she was my little winged dragon of Ra, i don't understand why Isuzu is so worried about us. Marik's no help either he's the reason I freak out and have my 'episodes' only y/n has been able to calm me at those times. "Hm" I looked to the noise that broke me out of my thoughts, a gray snake was looking at me "go on, I did nothing  to disturb a snake like yourself" I told the snake walking away, I heard the noise again but felt a Burning pain go up my leg, the damned thing bite me, " frigggg" I said a bit louder than I expected, " Melvin?" I herd y/n's sweet voice, I was currently on my knees surfing from the snake bite, but she even made that tolerable" what happen?!" She asked frantically " your coming to my house now" she said trying to get me up.

After a few minutes of limp walking to her house, I was  laying in her bed, she had brought back some tea for me" it's my job to fuss over you not the other way around" I said trying to keep the mood light,I felt her lay next to me" I'm still panicking " she said, she always was honest with me, it's how I've kept her content for four years." Don't you dare think of dying" y/m said hugging me softly,"wouldn't dream of it y/n" i said drifting off to sleep.
