"I'm sorry I made you worry," Noah apologized to Adrian after Oliver had left the room.
Adrian didn't say anything; instead, he took a spoonful of food and offered it to Noah. Noah hesitated for a moment but then opened his mouth, allowing Adrian to feed him.
"Are you mad?" Noah asked, noticing the darkness in Adrian's expression. Adrian remained silent, and Noah felt a pang of sadness at his silence.
"I'm sorry," Noah said with teary eyes, feeling regretful for causing Adrian any distress.
The room fell into silence as Adrian continued to feed Noah, and they finished their meal in quiet contemplation.
After putting the tray away, Adrian stood up, and Noah could sense the tension in the air.
"I'm sorry, I don't mean to hurt you," Noah apologized once more, trying to mend the situation.
"Don't act like a girl," Adrian responded with anger, surprising Noah with his harsh words.
Adrian closed his eyes, torn between worry for Noah and disappointment that Noah hadn't confided in him.
Noah lowered his head, trying to control his tears. He felt ashamed of his behavior, feeling as though he had been behaving irrationally.
"You have an allergy to garlic, but you didn't tell me anything even after I asked you so many times. Not only that, you didn't even think to inform me after you got admitted to the hospital. I had to find out from others,"
Adrian continued to voice his frustration, expressing his concern about Noah's health and why Noah hadn't shared his allergy with him. Noah struggled to hold back his emotions as Adrian's words hit him hard.
"I was scared that I'd disappoint you. I didn't tell you because I didn't want to ruin our first date. I thought I could manage," Noah confessed, his words accompanied by sobs.
"You thought you could manage?" Adrian sneered, his anger still evident.
"You'll manage even if it leads to your death?" Adrian's words were cold and harsh, and Noah looked at him with tears in his eyes.
"So what if I die? I don't have anyone crying for me. But if I die when I'm with you, at least I'll die in peace," Noah said, his words cutting through Adrian's heart.
Feeling a sudden panic, Adrian couldn't hold back his emotions any longer. Without thinking, he pulled Noah into an aggressive kiss.
Noah was taken aback at first but quickly responded, deepening the kiss with his own emotions pouring out. The intensity of their emotions collided at that moment, leaving both of them breathless and conflicted.
After their intense emotional moment, Adrian pulled away from the kiss and rested his head on Noah's forehead.
"Don't ever say something like this ever again," he whispered, his voice filled with concern and sincerity.
Noah felt overwhelmed by a mix of emotions, and he tightly wrapped his arms around Adrian, seeking comfort.
Adrian felt a heaviness in his heart seeing Noah cry. Nothing made sense in his mind anymore.
He couldn't understand why he was so worried about Noah, why he felt this strong connection.
He had always been a person without emotions, but since he met Noah, he began to feel things he had never experienced before.
When he heard that Noah was in the hospital, he felt like he was losing the most valuable person in his life.
This wasn't what he had expected from their relationship, but he couldn't stop himself from caring deeply for Noah.
Adrian gently pushed Noah away and cupped his tear-streaked face.
"Why are you crying?" he asked, gently wiping away Noah's tears.
"Don't get angry at me. I'm scared that you'll leave me"
Noah looked at Adrian with teary eyes and sobbed.
Adrian let out a soft sigh and placed a tender kiss on Noah's lips.
"If you don't want me to get angry, then you have to tell me if you have any problems. I'll handle everything for you. You can't hide things just because you think I'll be disappointed, because I won't be. Your safety is the most important thing to me," Adrian assured him.
Noah nodded, feeling reassured by Adrian's words. Adrian gently wiped away his tears, and Noah felt a sense of calm and security wash over him.
"Now rest, I'll go and talk with the doctor," Adrian said, helping Noah lie down on the bed. Adrian left the room to speak with the doctor, making sure that Noah was in good hands.
He couldn't bear the thought of anything happening to Noah, and he vowed to protect him with all his strength.
After a while Adrian returned to the room after speaking with the doctor, his mind still filled with worry for Noah.
He sat down beside the bed and took Noah's hand in his, gently caressing it.
"The doctor said you'll be fine, and you can discharge but you need to rest and take care of yourself," Adrian said softly, looking into Noah's eyes with genuine concern.
Noah nodded, feeling a mix of emotions. He was grateful for Adrian's care and worried about causing him any trouble.
"I'm sorry for all the trouble I've caused you," Noah said with a hint of sadness in his voice.
Adrian shook his head, squeezing Noah's hand reassuringly.
"You didn't cause me any trouble. I just want you to be safe and happy," he said sincerely.
Noah smiled weakly, feeling comforted by Adrian's words and touch.
"I'll be more careful from now on, I promise," he said, determined to not let his allergies or any other issues come in the way of their relationship.
Adrian leaned forward and placed a gentle kiss on Noah's forehead.
"That's all I want to hear. You don't have to go through anything alone, Noah. We are in this together," he said, his voice filled with love and tenderness.
Noah's heart swelled with affection for Adrian. He never expected to find someone like him, someone who cared so deeply for him.
"Thank you," Noah said, his eyes glistening with tears.
Adrian smiled softly, brushing away a tear from Noah's cheek and he stood up.
Adrian calls Mike and instructs him to handle the discharge process.
