The Battle of Seiretei III : The execution

Miyori

I opened my eyes. It was morning. Wait, where am I? Oh yeah, Renji and I escaped from prison and now he and Ichigo are training undeground so they can destroy the Soukyoku and save Rukia. Everyday life ^.^ Suddenly, an explosion interrupted my thoughts and I jumped up surprised.

"What the-" I saw Ichigo fighting against the old man from yesterday and Renji trying to train against... a rock? I sweatdropped. Renji stopped hitting the rock and he walked towards the woman who called him.

Today is Rukia's exectuion... I wonder if we can still make it and save her. I thought about asking them what we were going to do next, so I walked towards them. "Hey, what's up?"

" 'Morning, Hono-san" Renji told me and the woman nodded. "Is Ichigo still training?" I asked them. I looked around but Ichigo was nowhere to be found.

They nodded "Yeah, he is. But I haven't see you training once!" Renji told me.

"Yeah, mom, I don't need training, I'm fine" I said and an anime vein popped on Renji's head. "Oi!! Don't call me 'mom' !!" he yelled and I just ignored him.

I wonder where is the other shinigamis right now... Are they preparing to watch the execution or... stop it? I bet that Kyoraku-san and Ukitake-san will have something in their minds... what about Toshiro? He seems cold from the outside, but I bet he has a good heart. I hope he was her- in the hospital! Yeah, ern, in the hospital!

"As I was saying, I think that he knows instictively that he can acquire that power" the woman said. "Thus, I believe that he was born with the ability to acquire Bankai" She must be refering to Ichigo, I thought and nodded.

Ichigo continued fighting with the old man. "Ehm, I'm sorry, but I didn't have the chance to learn your name! I'm Miyori Hono, Vice-captain of the 3rd division" I looked at the woman and bowed slightly.

"I'm Yoruichi Shihouin, ex-captain of the 2nd division" she said and my eyes widen.

"You are a member of one of the Royal families!" I said surprised. The Shihouin family- one of the most powerful and rich Royal families in Seiretei. Yoruichi Shihouin was the last member of the Shihouin family, and it was said that she disappeared a long time ago. But now, she was standing in front of me, alive.

"Hai" she said and she smiled warmly at me.

Renji rolled his eyes "The time is getting closer and we don't have much left. I'm going to save Rukia" He said and he started walking away.

"W-wait! What am I going to do?" I asked Renji and ran towards him.

"I don't know. But I'm going to Rukia" Renji said and he jumped up, leaving a thick air of dust behind him.

I pouted childlishy "Mean, Abarai-kun! Now I don't know what to do" I said while glooming. Why is he so mean to me?

"We have to organise our strategy about what we do next. Hono-san, you said you are the Vice-captain of the 3rd division, right?" Yoruichi asked. "Hai" I answered and nodded.

She tapped her chin as she wanted to remember something "Then, your captain is Gin Ichimaru" I nodded again. What is the weird thing here?

"Gin Ichimaru is one of the most dangerous men in Soul Society. By the age of 9, he had already a zanpakuto and he had achieved shikai. Aizen Sosuke was the one who adopted him in Soul Society and made him a Soul Reaper" Yoruichi muttered.

"A-Aizen Sosuke?"

"That's right. There is nothing weird about it, but me and Kisuke had made a research about him a couple of years ago. There is something wrong about him" She looked upwards, like she have felt something. "Hono-san, I want you to be aware of him"

"I understand" I said and I looked away. Suddenly, I felt a lot of spiritual pressures rising up. They were many, but I could recognize some. It was Ikkaku's, Yumichika's, captain Kenpachi's, captain Komamura's and captain Tosen's. W-wait there is two more... oh no. Renji's and captain Byakuya Kuchiki's.

If Renji is going to fight with his captain... "Renji!" I yelled and I shunpoed. I appeared above from the steady ground and I felt his high spiritual pressure. He was very close to Rukia. I flash-stepped as fast as I could to the direction of Renji's reiatsu.

The surroundings became more blurry as I saw thousands of blossom petals flying almost besides me and racing front, where Renji's reiatsu was felt. I froze on my spot when I saw him. He was on the ground, covered with blood. A million of cuts were able to see on his arms and legs, clue that he was attacked by captain Kuchiki. I shunpoed and I appeared in front of Renji. I took a defensive state as captain Kuchiki noticed me.

"Back off, captain Kuchiki" I said.

"And why I have to do this?" he questioned me with his usual blunt voice and emotionless face.

I grabbed my zanpakuto which was hanging bahind my back "Because if you won't, I'll have to fight you"

"Who are you?" he asked me. Great. I see that no one knows me here, Screw you all T_T

"I'm Miyori Hono, Vice-captain of the 3rd division" I introduced myself and took out my zanpakuto. "And I came here to fight against you"

"Captain Ichimaru's new lieutenant. I see" he said, still holding his zanpakuto with both hands.

"That's right, captain Kuchiki"

"Why are you doing this?"

"Because I have to save Rukia" I said. It wasn't actually the main reason that I'm fighting for. The main reason is because... I looked at Renji. His reiatsu was very low, but he was still breathing.

"As I told to my Lieutenant, you have to defeat me to save Rukia, which is not going to happen" he said and he disappeared from my sight. I put my sword quickly in the back of my arm and blocked his attack.

Good thing that I knew the style of his attacks. I should have released my shikai by now, but it doesn't worth it. He suddenly made a new attack which almost cut out my head but I dodged it the last moment. But when I was dodging it, he got me. Blood started streaming down my forehead.

I wipped off the blood quickly "Damn" I said and made a new attack against him. I raised up my zanpakuto and I was ready to slice him in two, when he appeared behind me and sliced my arm.

The pain was unbeliavable as new blood started rolling down my cold hand "Ah!" I said and I grabbed my arm.

"You still want to fight me, don't you?" he asked me.

As for a reply, I yelled. "Rise from the burning ground! Faiabado!"

My sword grew red flames across its red line and I attacked Byakuya. Our swords clanched and I remembered that he could release his shikai too. Not to say that he had a bankai too. Suddenly, I felt Renji's reiatsu falling. Shoot, Renji, don't leave me now! My sword shot some fire to captain Kuchiki, which made the ground around him take fire.

"Hang in there!" I said and I appeared near Renji. I grabbed his hand and closed my eyes. The healing power passed through my hand to Renji's almost unconscious body, which made his breathing come back to normal again.

"Miyori... D-don't..." I heard him saying.

"Don't worry I'll heal you and th-"

"Scatter, Senbonzakura" I heard captain Kuchiki's deep voice saying and before I could turn around, his cherry blossom petals cut through my flesh, making my body paralyze from the pain and the blood loss. My body fell backwards, making a loud sound when it collided with the ground.

"Gahh!"I almost screamed and coughed blood.

"You may want to stay there if you don't want to be killed" I heard his footsteps growing longer and longer, when I couldn't hear them anymore.

I closed my eyes tightly "You bastard" I whispered. I stood up on my knees and I grabbed Renji's hand again. I continued healing them.

"D-don't try to heal me..." I heard Renji saying. I felt his reiatsu rising up. Mine was falling. I....I succeded in helping him.

A small smile formed the corners of my lips "G-good luck with saving Rukia" my last words were before I let his hand. Blankness.

Toshiro

Me and Matsumoto were walking towards the Soukyoku, most specifically at the underground 'city' underneath it, when I felt a very strong spiritual pressure coming up from our heads. It has started.

"It has begun" I said and stopped walking, taking a glance of the bright blue sky . "Let's hurry up, Matsumoto!"

"Yes, sir!" she said and she followed me.

We were going to the Central Goverment, so we could ask permission to stop the execution and discover why it happened so fast. Suddenly, someone pushed my right side, causing me to fall down. I opened my eyes and I saw the red haided lieutenant of 6th division, Renji Abarai holding a little girl with red hair on his hands. Miyori.

"Captain Hitsugaya!" Renji said.

"A-Abarai? What happened to Miyori?" I asked him and I saw that her body had took the bloody crimson color of her hair.

"I was fighting my Captain and Miyori came and she fought with Byakuya-sama and then he defeated her" Renji said quickly.

"And why were you fighting Byakuya?" I asked him.

"Because I wanted to save Rukia" Renji said, with no fear in his voice.

"What are you going to do with Miyori?" I asked him and I looked at her unconscious figure. Her reiatsu was very low, but she was still breathing. She shouldn't had a fight with Byakuya. He was too strong for her.

"Here, take!" Renji said and he dropped Miyori on my hands.

"WAAAHH!! What are you doing, Abarai?! Come here!" I yelled at him, catching Miyori in bridal style.

He continued running. "I have to save Rukia!"

I sighed as my grip tightened around the little girl's tiny body "Let's go, Matsumoto"

We continued flash-stepping till we reached the Central Goverment. We were ready to press the button so we could speak to them, but we noticed that the door was open. We looked inside and we saw the most terrible view in our whole lives.

"H-How is this possible?" Matsumoto asked, looking inside with her eyes wide open.

"What happened here?!" I said shocked. "The Central Goverment has been wiped... out..."

The blood covered bodies of the members of the Chamber 46 were lying to their seats, not even moving. The 'brain' of the Soul Society was dead.
