Arthur Returns
"Oh come on," Mordred yelled at the TV, throwing popcorn at the bad call made in the football game. Mordred went by the name Malachia, or Kai for short. Malachia Serrano. Morgana went by Morgan Serrano. And Merlin went by Matthew Serrano. Mordred was the two's son to the rest of the world. TO them, they just felt like a family since 100 years after Arthur's death. They rose again about a decade after Arthur died.
Their house was next to Lake Avalon, it was a nice sized cottage. It did help that Merlin and Morgana were the CEO's of Maltech Enterprises. Mordred had a job at the company, as some would say 'work his way up without his parent's help'. Morgana and Merlin also had a daughter, Nadia, she was only a few months old. Today was the weekend, just relaxing and doing nothing. Merlin had to leave the room to take a call when a ripple in the lake made its way to the shore. Slowly a group of people came out of the water. Looking like they just came from a renaissance fair, all soaking wet with lake water. There was 6 men and one women. They looked around, as if trying to find anything familiar. Arthur saw into the big window, Mordred watching the game. Arthur had rage inside him, he took off, his sword raised and ready to attack.
As Arthur charged forward, nobody noticed the little infant in the cot next to him on the couch. Arthur raise his sword as he jumped over, screaming as he came foreward. Merlin was entering the room as he saw Arthur run through the window. He quickly ran towards the two. He pushed Mordred out of the way, holding his arms up and creating a forcefield from the oncoming sword. When Arthur repelled backwards, Merlin's power shot out of everywhere, hitting everyone. Morgana quickly ran into the room, picking up the now crying babe.
"Enough," Merlin's commanding voice hollars, and the new group froze as they stared at their old friend.
"Merlin?" Arthur asked as he saw him, dropping his sword and staring at him like he was crazy.
"Arthur?" Merlin asked mockingly. "Did you just attack my son and daughter?" he asked, not caring if it was his friend, it had been more than a thousand years, he had a right to yell at him.
