• Jamaica Trip 🇯🇲 •

This place was absolutely amazing. Just breathtaking.

I couldn't have ask for a better way to spend the remaining of my time at least for a weekend in Jamaica.

This was one out of a hundreds trip that was on my bucket list to go too.

Unfortunately this would be the only trip that I will get to experience with my fiancé.

Taking in some more of that beautiful blue clear waters that tickled each toe, I was feeling a little lighter.

Just the sight of something different other than building's surrounding you, and feeling like it's about to close you in.

This was nothing but pure water and a couple of palm trees.

I was now starting to take another thing of medication that deals with keeping my depression down and for some reason today I was feeling good.

I even wanted to tap back into my music even when my voice wouldn't allow me too.

I laugh to myself when I saw Shang struggling to approach me.

In one hand he had all kinds of snack items, in the other he had a couple of towel's, in his mouth was his phone, and under his chin was something that I couldn't quite make out.

Once he made it to me he drop everything right next to me.

" can you believe this place, I see why john legend takes his wife and the kids out here."

I already got plenty of my viewing out the way as Shang was too busy getting things from out the vehicle.

" I know Chrissy told me all about their last trip here, she also suggested that we should check out their daytime bar"

" I didn't think they had any bars out here" Shang said

" well of course not out here at the beach" I smack my lips.

We both giggle before just relaxing out on the towel while absorbing up all of the sunlight.

" bae you take your pill?"

I love when Shang checked up on me but he tend to do it every five minutes.

It's understandable after the mini scares that I caused him and till this day I find myself still apologizing to him for it.

" I did, I'm good for now. You know I am curious as to how their daytime bars are like"

Shang gave me this looked while playing in the sand underneath us.

" I'm down if your okay with it" he shrugged.

Not wanting to go in this bikini suit, I was ready to pack it up and get inside our hotel room.

" gosh I can't wait to wash this sand off of me" I utter under my breath.

Moments later Shang was standing to his feet while helping me stand to mines.

" I can't wait to wash it off your body too" he smirk while cleaning up.

Throwing some sand at his chest I attempted to run off but due to how hot the sand was and how fast my feet would sink down inside it was impossible to run anywhere.

Shang caught up with me in like six seconds causing me to crash face first back into the sand.

With his body hovering over top of mines I use my fingers to dust off the particles that stuck to his chin, and cheek.

" that's what I live for" he whisper as our eyes remain focused.

I kissed his lips before pulling back with a smile.

" what's that?"

" seeing you happy, laughing, enjoying yourself. That is what makes my day, because I know how hard it was for you to even smile at one point"

Deep down inside me, it still is a challenge to just be happy and show off my pretty smile.

At some point I won't be able to smile to the world so why not give all my smiles to the only guy that matters to me.

" alright for real this time let's go get clean up so we can go adventure around this place" said Shang.

I agreed as we rise back on our feet, and heading towards the hotel.

Again.

• 4 Hours later........ •

All i saw was different beautiful gorgeous women walking passed me as they went off either to the bar or towards the dance floor.

Some was even dancing in the water and lord knows I would have slip and died trying to mimic some of their moves.

They could really get down.

I twirl from side to side on the bar stool as I watch Shang interact with most of the people.

Half of them was American like us and was huge fans.

Who would have thought they knew of us.

I could tell Shang was enjoying it, as pictures with him was getting taken in all directions.

" you like this environment?" An unfamiliar voice spoke to me

Looking off my shoulder it was a handsome looking guy who I've haven't seen before but his face looked to familiar.

" how can you not it's incredible out here the suns never covered, and the people, gosh the people are beautiful or handsome" I said titling my straw hat up a bit.

" right, right... I know you probably like who's this man talking to you, but I couldn't help but to approach you. Your very beautiful"

Curious as to where this conversation could possibly lead too I just smile at him before looking around pretending to be finding where Shang could have went off too.

" I'm flatter but I'm engaged" I said showing my finger.

Just in case you never know.

He laughed before shaking his head.

" my apologies I wasn't trying to come off on yah in a way that seem disrespectful, I should have properly introduced myself I'm Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu"

My eyes increased ten time their size as the man busted out into laughter.

" everyone calls me burna boy, I'm down for the weekend. In fact I needed a break from Atlanta. My sister told me she was coming plus your in luck" he tapped my shoulder

" how so?" I question.

" a big movie just released a couple weeks ago I was paid to perform here for the people and you got lucky you didn't have to pay because your already in the gates. But you see them"

He pointed his fingers out towards the roaring fans that was waiting to get inside the bar.

I nodded my head.

" well now they have to Pay because I'm already here before them so I hope you enjoy your stay and the performance"

All I could do was stare at how handsome he was.

The way his accent rolled off his tongue with each word he spoke.

Moments later Shang came walking up while giving burna boy a dap.

" bro whatcha doing all the way in Jamaica?" Shang ask excitedly.

" bro I'm about to perform this song to the people from off the new movie that recently drop in theaters, I was just telling this beautiful lady that she's in luck to see me perform for free unlike the others outside those gates"

I looked up at Shang who connected his lips to mines.

" yeah man she is lucky this my fiancée melody Tatum, Mel I see you already meet one of my good friends that I had a pleasure to meet In this industry"

He gasp as he was in shocked of who I was engaged too.

I laugh and he did the same before covering his mouth.

"Yoooo Shang this is all you" he jester his hand up and down.

" I know man what can I say, this my baby right here"

Rolling my eyes at the guys just being guys the owner of the bar called out for burna.

" alright duty calls, it was nice to see man, and it was an absolute pleasure to meet you melody"

Lifted my hand up into his, he gently gave it a small peak before placing it back softly on my lap.

Whewwwww!!

As we watch him walk off and get greeted by other fans, Shang embraced me into his arms.

" how you feeling? You need to take any medicine for pain or any headaches?"

" actually I'm okay. It's weird because I would have been hurting badly back at the house but now I've feel good right now"

" okay just making sure I don't want you over doing anything alright"

" I'm fine baby"

Reaching for his chin I cuffed it before taking in his lips on mines.

" mmm, I can't wait to devour you with this tongue tonight" he growl

I buried my head into his chest before lifting back up.

" are you always freaky wherever you go?"

" I got to be baby, 24/7" he wink.

I motion my stool toward the water where burna boy wanted to perform near.

How bad I deeply loved Shang I couldn't keep my eyes from off him.

He smelled amazing, and his face was so clean teeth whitened, height was a tower compared to me i don't know it was something about him that made the females go crazy.

I waited for him to finish his little introductory message before the music began.

Everyone grew silent as he started to pour out his voice into the music.

When I say you couldn't hear anything, you couldn't hear anything not even a pin drop.

For me personal this song was speaking more than just volumes.

It was going through my body and into my soul.

I felt so bad for what was going to happen after the death of me.

The memories that I had with everyone was starting to run through my mind.

What would become of Shang, Cooper, Autumn, Ashanti, and many others.

I hated that I was going to be leaving Shang here on this earth to fight for himself, but he knew deep down inside that I will still be around to protect him.

Same thing with cooper I will protect him the same way he protected me when I wasn't able to be there for myself.

As the song Continue I looked over at Shang who was already trying to keep back tears.

I was tired of fighting mines and I wasn't afraid to let them show In front of everyone.

Some people looked over my way as others was wiping their eyes as well.

Shang held onto me tighter before kissing me.

" don't leave me alone melody, when you do it's going to hurt me man.... Damn"

" I will be here with you for as long as my body can bare Shang I still have time with you"

" I don't want to waste another moment let's go find something else to get into it's too many emotions going on" he chucked

" I second that" I sniffle while getting off stool as I put my hand into his.

As we was walking out the bar I looked back over my shoulder one last time to see the guy who brought tears to my eyes and music to my soul.

Without saying a word he gave me a warm smile and blew me a kiss"

I gave one back as I was now further down the strip and I could hear him starting off another song.

You could hear the fans cheering and singing along to that song as well. 

" he must be really well known" i ask Shang.

" who burna boy? Hell yeah he took off around the same time I did and been doing a phenomenal job Since then"

" I can tell"

Now feeling a little drained, we enter the vehicle and continue on our adventures before we had to catch our flight back to LA in the morning.

During the ride back to the hotel their was one person that I wanted to really talk to and that was was the only one who I thought should have been there for me the way cooper was there.

Scrolling through my phone I came  across her number.

Not sure if she'll text me back I just went ahead and push past my fears of rejection.

Me : hey I know it's been a while but I'm ready to finally amend things. There is a lot that I haven't told you that's been going on in my personal life and with you being my flesh and blood, my big sister I want to open up to you. If you allow me that chance.

Taking in a deep breath I was almost down to my last month and I would be lying if I didn't want to rekindle our broken relationship.

She was my sister at the end of the day and with what I have going on it was time for me to put my differences to the side and inform her on what's been going on.

Also apologize for the things that I've said, I was ready to be the bigger person and right now I needed my family.

With our parents deceased now we are all that we got and that's
