My producer played back the soundtrack that I just finish recording and I knew this was going to be a hit.

We was all smiles as our heads bop to the music as it filled the studio room.

" I told you Shang you was going to be the next big thing man" Andre told me as we dap each other up.

This song was going to be a success and how much I enjoyed writing music, i wanted another great artist with their amazing masterpiece and talent to help me out.

So me and my team type up a flier and set out to find the next person who could joined me and make great music for the world to hear.

Not only was I blowing up, but the lucky person was also going to be the next big thing along side with me.

This experience couldn't get no better.

As I laid across the sofa just singing along to my music and patiently waiting for my food to arrive, my phone started to ring.

Looking down it was a number that I wasn't familiar with so I was hesitant to answer.

Ever since the fame been taking off for me in the positive way, I've been receiving so many calls from family I haven't heard from In years.

If not that, then it's people who already hating on me.

It's ashamed how others don't just support your work without being so negative about it.

After the fifth ring I decided to give in and accept the call.

If it is someone negative I know how to end the conversation

Simple.

....hello? I spoke with a rasp but yet a whisper to my voice.

The other side grew quiet as I pulled the phone back to see the person on the other end was still there.

" uhh helloo? I'm sure If you just speak I promise you that I will respond back if not this call will end"

I lifted up on the couch before resting my left arm on my knee, and the other still holding the phone up to my ear.

" hello... I'm sorry I.. I froze up I can't believe this is happening right now" her voice spoke back.

I tried not to, but a slight smirk appeared on my lips as she sounded so beautiful.

Her accent was definitely different from what I was use to hearing which is what caught my attention.

Andre and another friend of mine looked back as they saw I'm sure me smiling like someone who just won the world.

Paying them no mind I continue the talk.

" it's an honor to know that their was someone on the other end of the line. Thought maybe a ghost wanted to gain some fame" i joked as I could hear her chuckled.

" how can I assist you? was you looking for anyone in particular?" I inquire.

" well acutely I called to talk to you. I'm melody Tatum the girl who was chosen to become your song writer."

I laid back before punching the air with excitement before sitting back up as everyone was now wondering what was going on.

" yeah, yeah about that um... flier of course my producer loved your response as to why you wanted the job. Also, you was the only one out of twenty people who acutely have real time experience in this field so, big congrats on that ms Tatum"

She laughed before a small snorkel followed.

"Oh my I didn't mean too..."

" listen don't ever apologize for having an amazing laugh it was kinda adorable" i mentioned.

" so was there a specific time that I need to meet you? Because if so then I can leave like right now?"

So very eager and curious as to whom I'm really talking too I decided to squeeze her in. Before my next recording session.

Never in my 28 years on earth was i so exhilarate to meet a women.

Not saying that it's never has happen before, but when it do I never have the best of luck with them.

So eventually I just stop going for any, and everyone and just decide to pick who I feel will soon take my last name.

" if you can then today... maybe around 2pm only if that's cool with you"

I waited as I laugh a bit when I heard a slight scream from a distance, then the phone sounded as if it got picked back up again.

" yes I can definitely meet you today. Gosh thank you so much for this opportunity it's so... ugh I don't even have words right now"

" listen I have to go but I'm very excited to see you myself. Okay I'll see you at 2 then"

" of course I won't be late"

~ call ended

Placing the phone back down on the sofa I couldn't seem to get this grin from off my face.

Standing to my feet as I finally was smelling the food that I've been waiting on for the longest, I glance over to see Andre and Steven in my face.

" what" I said all nonchalant as if nothing happened.

" nah bruh don't what us, what was that?"

Reaching inside the pizza box I quickly pulled out a slice before taking it to my mouth.

" I have no idea what your are talking about right now" I said pretending to have amnesia.

" man come on don't do us like that. We clearly saw you all googly eyes over there, so who was on the phone?"

" okay what about it?" I said short tone.

" what about it? Shang we ain't never seen you like that dawg I mean whoever this chick was you better hope she match whatever she was telling you" Steven joked as the both was slapping each others arms as they laugh hysterically.

Rolling my eyes and waving them off I grab another slice of pizza before walking back over to the couch.

With another session in thirty I wanted to make sure that i at least got a few minutes in for a Power Nap.

Just as I finish up my food and got comfortable to close my eyes, the sound of a loud alarm ring at me.

Jumping up it was no one other then the two doofuses that I have working for me.

" what is it man damn" I groan before taking both my hands to rest it on each side of my head.

" we don't have time to sleep we have our next session like.... right now let's go we need you in the studio"

Throwing my head back on the head rest I sprung up while carrying my bottle of water with me.

Sitting on the stool I rub my fingers through my hair as I raised my brows waiting for them to get started.

" are you ready Shang?" Andre asked.

" let's get it" i said while twirling on the stool.

" alright. Ya man ain't me run that track back for Shang" Steven announced

Looking up at the clock it was reading 1:45pm.

All i could do at this moment was think about this meeting that I was having with melody Tatum about this partnership.

Just the way she sounded already had me hooked .

With her in my thoughts this song I was about to record was about to hit, and feel more different now.

Let's just hope she don't have a man.
