The tosses,and turns broke my wonderful dream that I was having.

Barely opening my eyes I peak over to see Shang not being able to get comfortable.

Reaching my hand over, I touch his arm as he jump like the bed was on fire.

" hey are you okay?"

He huffed before shoving his face into the pillow shielding his eyes from the sunlight.

" mhmm why wouldn't I be" he mumbled

" because" I said now sitting up exposing my naked body " you were tossing and turning like you was having a bad dream"

He propped his head up just enough to make eye contact before dropping it back down.

" nah I'm fine trust me. What are your plans for today?"

" well I'll probably hit the studio after I get up and stirred around, maybe see if autumn would like to join me"

" that's it?" He said asking another question

" um no I also have a dinner date with my brother he had some news to tell me but he wants to do it in person"

I waited for another reply from Shang but after five minutes of nothing I took it upon myself to exit the bed.

" why can't you just lay here with me, I'm so sore after last night performance" he groan while extending his legs further out on the bed.

I laughed before slapping his butt. " you'll be just fine nobody ask to you jump, and do flips, and stroke your ego across the stage" i teased

He exhale out loud and I went ahead to get myself ready for the day.

An hour later......

Slipping my toes into an open heel, I toss my jacket over my shoulders as i sprayed myself down in my favorite smell good perfume

It quickly got the attention of Shang as he flip on his back.

Throwing his arms behind his head, he remain with his legs spread apart as he was now watching me finish getting ready.

"Have you heard back from nicki yet? Now she is a artist that I would like to be around" I asked

" yeah in fact she um, email me last night about a song she wants me on that's going to be on her album"

" oh yeah that's great what's the title of her album?" I asked

" not sure yet she haven't told me all the details but I'll probably head over her way tomorrow kinda just want to relax today I'm a bit exhausted." He explain.

Giving him the puppy dog look, we was interrupted by autumn presence as she was standing in the room.

With Shang in nothing but socks he quickly pulled the blankets over his body before his hand palm his face.

My eyes was in shock before blocking her view.

" shit, I'm so sorry I should have said that I was coming up. I was wondering if your ready? The studio manager called and said that they was open"

I looked over my shoulder to see Shang was completely red in the face.

" why don't we finish this conversation back downstairs, Shang is not dress for company to be up here"

Autumn tried to look pass me, but I blocked her view.... again.

" oh, yeah, of course let's go back downstairs" she said disappointed.

Looking back to see if he was good the covers was covering his head and instead of bothering him I just followed her.

Grabbing the keys we was preparing to head out the door.

" you got everything? I asked while grabbing my notebook and pen.

Autumn nodded her head as we walked towards the front door and left leaving Shang alone for a couple hours.

• Star Heights Studio •

" wow!, if I owned a studio like this I wouldn't want to leave this place ever" Autumn whisper as we waited for the producer.

My eyes shifted in every part of this room and everything was screaming luxurious.

It felt so comfortable, and I couldn't wait to add my mark inside this place.

As we continue to look around and talk amongst each other, the door open.

I jump a little getting cut off guard as a female walked inside.

" hello, and welcome to "star heights studio" my name is Becky Coleman , and who do I have the pleasure of working with today?"

" Mel..melody Tatum I stumble on my words"

She extend her hand out for a handshake and I accept.

" I've heard a lot about you melody the girlfriend of the amazing talented superstar Shang marsh. To have you in my studio is an honor"

My eyes and face beam with joy as I wouldn't have ever thought that I would get recognize.

This women who I never met a day in my life knew about me, and it's all because of my boyfriend who had a growing fanbase everyday.

She could be one of his followers.

He does post me from time to time on his page.

" it's a pleasure to even get noticed. At one point no one really knew me, and now my music along with Shang is taking off in the right direction"

Becky nodded her head as she agreed with what I was saying.

" it's a blessing to have people listen to your work and enjoy every bit of it. I can't lie I have a couple of your songs downloaded in my phone as we speak."

" wait what?.... Don't have me crying I said fanning at my eyes while autumn came over to comfort me.

" I'm serious, your music speaks to a lot of us females and it's just a peaceful r&b feel. You should be amaze at how well your music comfort me and I'm sure others as well"

Not even believing what was going on right now I place my notebook, and other belongings down before grabbing a couple of napkins.

"'Nope I told myself I wouldn't do this" i said out loud.

" girl cry it's totally normal. What you been through I'm sure wasn't enough to keep you down. Your a strong, and a beautiful women who overcame whatever obstacles and challenges that your face in your life"

Remembering back to my childhood and teenage years and the sexual abused that I had to deal with my father made me strong.

Who knew him doing what he did to me would have me become the women that I've seen myself being.

Music is what change my life from being so dark and grey whenever my father came around.

" okay i needed this now where's the mirror so I can fix my makeup and record" I laughed to keep from crying again

We all laughed out loud before she pointed me towards the bathroom.

Moments later...

Walking back into the room Autumn was on the phone with cooper as Becky was getting my sounds ready.

" thank you again for that talk, you don't know how much I appreciate it and needed to hear that"

She placed her fingers over mines before a genuine smiled appeared.

" anytime. Now are you ready to make more music so that I can get first dibs on it"

" damn right I am" I chucked while grabbing the notebook and walking into the recording booth.

Clearing my throat, I turn the page to where I needed to be.

Placing the headphones on my ears I nodded my head and gave a thumbs up for Becky to get me started.

Once we was done recording I remove the headphones from my ears, and open my eyes to see Becky and Autumn mouth drop to the floor.

I drop my head before lifting it back up again as I pressed my hands together.

Walking out the booth they was still in shock.

" I mean do you even have to ask us that. You was freaking awesome, and I want a copy of this like asap" Becky said squealing in her seat.

" all I have to say is..... YOU GO GIRL!!! You killed it" autumn said embracing me into a hug.

We put the song on repeat as I gave them another encore.

This is what I loved.

Looking at my phone I had a text from my brother.

Opening the message I froze up.

Bro: wya? I have some news.... Momma is here wanting to meet up

Dropping my phone, I knew I was about to
