Alfred was unpacking his suitcase in the shared luxury suite he had with the other guys of the band. They had packed fairly light in terms of personal clothing, as they only planned on staying for a day or two before going back home. Alfred only had one backpack filled with his toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, a few t-shirts, two pairs of jeans, two pairs of underwear, an extra pair of socks, and his beat-up sneakers. All the performance equipment and their stage outfits were already at the theater, as they chose to express them over ahead of time. Alfred was folding a pair of jeans and humming the tune from his dream, the one the lady with the brown hair always sang. Enzo, Conrad, Hiroto, and Dimitri listened as Alfred even sang a few parts. A minute into the song, Alfred realized his bandmates staring at him.
"What?" he asked weirdly. Enzo stood up and clapped softly.
"Alfred, you have to perform that!" the other three nodded in agreement. Alfred tensed up and shook his head.
"Why? It's a lullaby! It doesn't fit our theme!" Alfred exclaimed back. Enzo rolled his eyes and put his hands on his hips.
"Listen! You need to perform that tomorrow! It does too fit with the theme! Do you even hear the lyrics you're singing?!" Enzo looked to the other three and motioned for them to back him up. Conrad, ironically, was the first to agree.
"A peaceful ballad would wrap up the show nicely. Keep in mind, our audience is going to consist of royalty from around the world. They might appreciate the calmness of your lullaby than our 'This is Me' remake. We can still perform both, but that song is so beautiful coming from you, Alfred!"
"Da, I have to agree," Dimitri added, "I am sure the girls would like it too!"
"But, I can't sing it!"
"Why not? Do you remember all the lyrics?" Hiroto asked while tilting his head. Alfred nodded sheepishly and shuffled his feet around. Enzo hugged his shoulders and smiled.
"Then, let's work on trying to find it! The song is inside that knucklehead brain of yours somewhere!" Enzo noogied Alfred's head playfully, making the blonde squirm.
"Enzo! Ah! Knock that off!" Alfred squealed. Conrad and Dimitri chuckled and Hiroto joined in the fight. Meanwhile, the girls were connected by a hallway and were staying in another luxury suite. The group heard the boy playfighting and decided to go check it out. Ro, who was leading the troop, opened the door and smirked when she saw Hiroto being pinned by Alfred and Enzo having Alfred in a headlock.
"It never fails to amuse me when you boys act like kiddies on a schoolyard," Ro cocked an eyebrow as she smirked. Odette giggled at the sight and Alicia and Rin laughed their asses off.
"What on Earth are you three fighting over? The last piece of jerky?" Alicia jested, only to have a pillow thrown into her face by Alfred.
"No! These idiots want me to perform a song I barely know tomorrow, in front of royalty!" Alfred complained, leaving an opening for Hiroto to get on top of Alfred. All the girls looked at each other and nodded.
"Well, I wanna hear it," Ro demanded. Odette nodded as she kissed Ro's temple, making the Britt blush brightly, "save it for when we're alone, Odette!"
"But I like seeing you flustered," the Frenchwoman retorted as she played with Ro's hair. The shorter swatted Odette off and glared.
"Amigas, are you forgetting why we are in here? We need to hear Alfred's song!" Alicia yelped, jumping and clapping. Alfred groaned and finally escaped the two bandmates' grasps.
"But I don't know all the words! I'll look like an idiot!" the band all rolled their eyes, but shrugged it off. They dropped the subject to make Alfred think he won, but they were going to get him to perform his ballad.
"We all have a big day tomorrow, we should get some rest," Rin told the group. They all looked at the clock over the door, nodding in unison. Enzo got up and kissed Alicia goodnight, everybody waving each other off and saying 'sweet dreams' and such. Alfred laid in his bed and faced the full moon that the window proudly framed for him. His eyes began to flutter closed as one last thought came to his mind.
That stupid song is so real to me... I know I've heard it... But... How? When? And where was it?
Across the city in Canada's house, the nations all buzzed with excitement. They had just found out that England boss, Queen Elizabeth II, hired International to perform just for them and their bosses. The crowd of immortals was excited, to put it simply. Many liked the idea of meeting their favorite band, but three nations knew much better. Carmen, Arthur, and Francis were all sleeping in one room. Carmen was staring at the moon with a smile.
"Tomorrow, mijo. Tomorrow, I'll hold you again. And this time, I'll never let you go," Carmen then laid down and bid her goodnights to the other two empires. The three having restful sleep for the first time in centuries.
Alfred awoke at the ungodly hour of 6:30 AM. He decided since the concert was at noon he could do some exploring before the performance. He got up from the bed and made it quickly before hustling to the shower. He quickly washed his body and hair with the hotel's sample-sized bottles and got out. He put on deodorant, brushed his teeth, flossed, and got dressed into a simple tee with jeans. He wrote three separate notes for his bandmates, saying he would meet them at the hall at 11 AM for rehearsal. He put on the navy winter coat that he had hung in the closet, put his phone and wallet in his pockets, and quietly walked off. He started to journey to the nearest cafe for a cup of steamy, freshly made, burning hot coffee. A cold gust of wind made Alfred bundle into his coat more and shiver a bit.
By the time he reached the cafe, it was close to 7:30, and a group of twenty-somethings was already in a booth. Alfred paid them no mind as he went to the counter and ordered his coffee and a freshly baked croissant. After giving the barista the cash he turned around to look at the group of young adults. His heart stopped when he saw them. They looked exactly like the children from the crystal palace dream, only all grown up. The girl with glasses and the braid was speaking quick french to a man who could be his twin! Next to that guy was the tan child talking with an Indian accent to the Chinese boy, who was wearing a similar red pinyin. The Filipino girl was speaking to a boy Alfred didn't quite recognize but felt like he knew. He was clearly of Mexican descent and was constantly switching between Spanish, English, and Portuguese with the macaw boy from his dream. To finish it off, there was a buff teen who looked like the koala kid from his dream, laughing his ass off with a chubbier guy with dreadlocks and bright red tropical shirt and a cigar behind his ear. Alfred gulped down some welling up anxiety and took deep breaths. As soon as the barista gave him his order he thanked her quickly and booked it from the nice, warm cafe. He wandered for a bit with the picture of the group driving him insane.
Did he feel like he knew them? No. He knew that he knew them. But again, he just had to ask from where?
Alfred decided to just head to the theater, despite it being only 9 AM. There, he met the coordinator from the hall and Alfred gave him a step-by-step program for their concert. Alfred sat at the piano for an hour as he waited for his bandmates to meet them for rehearsal. While he was there, he began to play the melody on pure instinct. It felt right for him to play the soft ballad. Once he finished he heard applause, making him jump and look. There was the rest of his band, clapping for him as they walked down the aisle. Alfred rolled his eyes at them and straightened himself out.
"Told you it was in there," Enzo remarked as he walked past Alfred and into the backstage area. Alfred growled as blush dusted his cheeks, but went to go change with the rest of the band. Their outfits consisted of white jeans, red sneakers, and tank tops with the pattern of their flag on it. They were finishing up their accessories when they began to hear people fill the hall. The crowd was a rowdy bunch, that was for sure. They weren't international delegates for nothing. Once the coordinator informed them that everyone was present, they were ready to perform. Alfred stepped up and began to belt out their first song, shocking the crowd.

Alfred smirked and bowed.
"Now, that I have everybody's attention! It's our pleasure to sing for such important people! As our band's name 'International' would suggest, each one of us come from somewhere different. Some of us come from wealth," gesturing to Ro, "some of us come from tragedy," Alfred gestured to Dimitri, "and some of us don't know where our roots lie," gesturing to Rin and Hiroto, "but yet, we're together. That's the message we want to send to the world, the message that needs to be heard. As a group, we're not just kickass talented performers, we're so much more. We are advocates of, well, acceptance. Proof that you don't need to worship the same god, gods, or lack thereof god to be friends. Proof that stereotypes are a bunch of lies. Proof that we can all get along and that we don't need to be the same race or sexual orientation to work. So, delegates, respected figureheads, and crowned royalty, please enjoy our concert that we titled, 'Acceptance'" Conrad and Dimitri stepped up with smiles.

After the applause quieted down, Odette began to play a song on her turntables. Ro began to sing, later being joined by other girls.

Hiroto stepped forward as Odette changed the melody.

Keeping with the soft melodies, Alicia and Enzo stepped forward for their song.

After that was done, Odette flicked a switch and the beat became more dramatic. All of them stood on the stage now.

As they stood in their final pose, many began to leave. That's was until Ro whistled loudly into the microphone.
"Now hold the bloody phone! We're not done yet! There's still one more song! Our leader, America, has a small yet sweet balled he would love to play for you!" Ro chuckled as Alfred turned beet red. Before Alfred could deny the statement, Dimitri and Conrad pushed the back to center stage with smirks on their faces. Alfred deflated a bit but nodded as he sat on the bench. He glanced at the crowd and back to the piano, gulping.

As Alfred sang the lullaby he had begun to tear up. Enzo joined him on stage and sung with him. He also acted as support for Alfred, as it became clear that the song had a very strong meaning. A few stray tears streamed down his face as he sang out the last note flawlessly. He stood and bowed as the audience applauded loudly. As Alfred headed backstage he failed to notice the three nations running to him. Before Alfred could open the stage door, he was tackled by a hysterical woman.
"What the hell? Are you ok miss?" Alfred asked softly, embracing her. When she looked at him, Alfred thought his soul left his body. The woman with the long brown hair was here, in front of him, for real. Alfred looked up and saw the two male figures from his dream: one with big eyebrows and the other with long hair. The woman began to gently pet Alfred's face, kissing his forehead softly.
"Finally, we found you, Alfred," the woman hugged Alfred tightly and cried into his chest. Alfred was stunned, he never EVER gave away his real name. The only people who knew were his bandmates.
"We 'ave missed you so much mon petit lapin!" the one with blonde hair knelt and kissed Alfred's face over and over. The man with big brows just fell to his knees and cried.
"Oh, Alfred. We've missed you terribly since you were taken from us! My dear boy, finally I can hold you again! Spain scoot over I want to hug our son too!"
"Y-your son?" Alfred asked. He was trying so hard to process everything around him.
"Oui, Alfred. I am your papa, Francis otherwise known as France,"
"I am Arthur, your dad. The country of Britain,"
"And I'm your mami, Carmen. I represent Spain. Oh mijo, the night you were taken from us was the worst night of my life! I cried for decades! I thought I lost you!" Carmen kissed Alfred's forehead again.
"I don't understand, how do you know it's me?"
"The lullaby, Alfred. I sang that to you in the cradle when you laid beside your two brothers," Carmen giggled. Alfred felt his head spin, these were the people who abandoned him? The people crying their eyes out?
"I'm sorry, I just need some time to process this," Alfred stood up and shook his clothes off, "where are you all staying?"
"Your brother's house. Here," Francis took out an empty gum rapper and wrote down the address, "come when you are ready to hear everything," Francis kissed America's forehead and walked off. Arthur did the same, leaving just Carmen and him. Carmen cupped his cheek and kissed the other one, crying a bit more.
"Finally, I have you in my arms where you belong. Please come home when you're ready, mijo. You have a big family awaiting your return," Carmen smiled and walked away. Alfred put the rapper in his pocket and walked into the dressing room.
"Took you long enough, what were you being swarmed by fans or whatever?" Conrad joked. All of them laughed and turned to see Alfred shaking. That put them on guard immediately and Conrad ran to him, "Alfred! What happened? Talk to us!" the group bustled around getting Alfred water and towels as Conrad sat him down, "Al?" they all asked worriedly.
"I think I just met my, like, real parents," Alfred muttered. They were silent, not knowing what to say.
