This is part one of the seven deadly sins poem challenge. Basically I have to write poems of the seven deadly sins without saying their name.

Your avarice is insatiable
You have to have it all
You only see the salable
So you can be enthralled

Maybe life would be better if you did a good deed
Like giving to the poor
But all you say is I need, I need
As you walk out of the door

No matter how much money you have
It will lead to no avail
Money can't bring happiness
Your hunger will leave you ail

You just need to have everything
From the sky to the trees
You own all the things
All the things besides me
