Hello people, I hope y'all are being good and groovy and... safe.

I totally suck at announcements so this might not go down well.

Anyways, I made one of the most difficult decisions in my life yesterday and it breaks my heart to announce that I'm taking down Melanin Diaries from this platform. *Wipes away tears*.

Well, not take down per se, as five chapters will remain on here, but that's barely the point right now. Melanin Diaries is leaving wattpad and I feel like crap.

As to the reason why I'm doing that, I got it signed as a paid story on another platform named Goodnovel. Which is a good news, to a certain level, but unfortunately, it wouldn't be free anymore.

It'll enable me earn as a writer, I guess, and they have this program that'll ginger me to update as frequently as possible, but it's still painful that I have to whip it off from where the double M's began to share their love life.

I can't even begin to comprehend how indebted I am to y'all who gave this book a place in your libraries; to all who commented, votes and even the ghost readers. Y'all helped me reach the point I'm at today and though it makes me selfish for upgrading the book without your notice -my sincere apologies for this- y'all have own a special place in my heart. You all are my heroes.

That's why, although the first book of the Melanin Diaries series has been shipped off to Goodnovel, the book two of the series will soon be updated and available for you to read for free.

Note: book two is not in any way related to M&M's story, it's a totally different story about another Melanin -not so Melanin- woman trying to juggle her struggles and get through life. Like we all know, the general theme is; the struggles of a coloured woman.

Finally, I have been able to improve this work, rename and design a fitting cover for it -all what I've been too lazy to do up until recently- and I know it totally isn't in my place to ask this of you, but you can check it out using this link:
