This is a joke one shot between my OCs Light and Lightning that I came up with....... If you read my other story "A different shadow" or "subject 924" you'll know who these two are.

Light's POV
(She has her own body in this)

I walked out of the den we found abandoned in the forest. Everyone was acting like kits and play fighting. Everyone but Lightning.

I looked around for her but I felt a sudden weight ram into my side and knock me over.

"Light! You finally got your grumpy butt up! Now you can come play with us." Said Lightning, excitedly.

"Nope. I'm going hunting. Go play with Storm or those stupid demons." I responded, getting up.

"They aren't stupid! And Storm dug a hole and is sitting in it. She just wants to sit there for a while. So please?" She pleaded.

"Ugh, fine. But we're going hunting.(for dat booty) Not playing like kits." I growled.

I started walking away from the group. I heard Lightning giggle and follow me. She jumped to my side with a smile.

"Why are you so happy all the time?" I asked, irritated.

"I'm not happy all the time. Just when I'm with you guys. Especially you.~" She said.

I blushed and looked forward. We were a only little ways from the group but far enough to not be able to hear them.

Lightning walked right in front of me and flicked my nose with her short tail. I blushed even harder as she strutted in front of me.

"You're blushing a lot. Are you okay?" She said. "Someone got a little crush?"

"S-shut up! I don't like you or anyone." I said.

She laughed. "I see a flock of birds! Maybe we can catch a few." She said.

We crept towards the flock and crouched in the grass. The wind was blowing towards us, keeping our scent away for the prey. As I got into position to strike Lightning jumped at the flock. On a reflex I jumped out, too.

We both were able to pin down and kill two birds. As I picked up my prey to head back to the group Lightning started hissing and growling.

Suddenly a stray dog jumped at Lightning. She darted out of the way so the dog didn't land on her. She jumped on it's back and bit down on it's neck. I rushed to help.

I bit it's flank as it started to wiggled around to shake us off. Lightning fell off and the dog wasted no time in clawing at her. I growled and climbed up the dog to it's head.

I clawed at it's eyes. My claw got stuck in it's eyeball and the dog started jumping and whimpering in pain. Lightning got back to her legs but fell back down. I could see from the dog's head that she had a broken leg.

I felt myself be filled with even more rage. I jumped off of the dog and ran under the dog. I slashed the dog's belly and moved out if the way and to Lightning's side as the dog fell to the ground. Finally it was dead.

I lifted Lightning up and let her lean on me for support. I absentmindedly grabbed the prey and we slowly walked back to the group.

*20 minutes later *

Still Light's POV

I was sitting in a tree while everyone was asleep inside the den. As if everything wasn't bad enough when Lightning and I got attacked by that dog it got even worse when we got back.

We took care of Lightning since she had a broken leg. But while Darcel and Doll were taking care of her CakeCup decided that it was my fault for Lightning getting hurt!

She clawed my face. Darcel and Doll patched me up but it still stung.

I laid down in the branch I was on and stared at the moon. I heard the leaves shake and looked behind me to see Lightning.

"How did you get up here? And you be asleep you idiot." I hissed.

"I got my ways. I saw what CakeCup did. Are you okay?" She said with concern.

"I'm fine. I'm the strongest one in this clan. I can take a few scratches." I said.

"Clan, huh? So you finally think that we're a family?" She said with a smirk.

"I said clan! Not family." I growled.

Lightning laughed and leaned against me. I blushed again but Lightning didn't see.

We sat there for a while until Lightning got up.

"Let's go back in the den. You can sleep with me tonight.~" She purred.

"Keep talking like that and I'll smack your ass right out of this tree!" I said.

"Oh~ kinky.~" She said with a wink.

She laughed and climbed down the tree. I followed her into the den and we went over to her nest. I never make nests. I spend most of my time outside.

We laid down in her nest together. She cuddled close to me as I looked outside. I was distracted and didn't notice Lightning moving. Until she licked my neck.

I squeaked but kept it in so no one else heard. I turned to Lightning and saw her trying to act like she was asleep.

I smacked her with my tail and laid back down. She tried to hold in her laughter as I watched her to make sure she didn't try anything else.

When she calmed down and turned away I smiled and licked on of her ears. She gasped and turned to me but I acted like I was asleep. Until I finally did fall asleep.
