You promised Tari you'll be back soon, so you went to the kitchen to have a chat with one of your best friends, Beta. When you walked in, he was in there baking a fresh apple pie, his baking is by far the best. You cleared your throat and he turns to you.

Beta: Oh, whats up Y/N?

Y/N: Nothing much Beta, how are you?

Beta: It's going pretty good, not gonna lie, I did almost beat Mario in an arm wrestling contest.

Y/N: Did he beat you?

Beta: Nope, we actually got into a little fight, he tried suffocating me in spaghetti.

Y/N: Pffft, of course he did.

Beta: So, what brings you here? Need something to eat?

Y/N: No, I'm not hungry, but I will be looking forward to trying that apple pie, anyways, I wanted to talk to you about something..

Beta: Oh?

Y/N: It's about..

You leaned in closer so that way he can only hear.

Y/N: Meggy..

Beta: Ah, what about her? She's not bothering you is she?

Y/N: No of course not, I..umm...

Beta stared at you a little confused.

Y/N: Have...I-I have..

Beta put his hand on your shoulder.

Beta: You can tell me anything dude, don't feel embarrassed, You have what?

You felt a little pride in you when he said that, so you tell him the secret.

Y/N: I kinda like Meggy..

Beta: Like as a friend...or..the other thing?...

Y/N: The other thing...I have..feelings for her..

Beta's eyes widened in surprise.

Beta: Damn, does anyone else know about this?

You shook your head no.

Beta: Wow..That's great, but doesn't she have a boyfriend?

Y/N: I know..but...this feeling is driving me crazy..

Beta: How long have you had this feeling?

Y/N: Ever since we've been to the convention, and the Francis thing.

Beta: A long time, I see...well you're in luck.

Y/N: What's the lucky part?

Beta: You gotta go with your gut man, but for now, all you can do is wait, I know that sounds like the hardest thing in the universe, but trust me, it will work, when the time is right, you'll know.

Y/N: You've got a point there, you know what, I will follow those.

You smiled at Beta.

Y/N: Thank you.

Beta smiled back.

Beta: Anything for you dude, good luck.

You and him bump fists then leave to go back to Tari.

Tari: Hey, what took you so long?

Y/N: I've kinda got into a pickle with Beta, he had issues with his apple pie.

Tari: Oooh, Sounds yummy, well..we should get back to playing, we are at the glass bridge!

Meggy: Yep, lets do this!

Y/N: Sounds great!

You and the two girls were playing the game, meanwhile with Beta, he was thinking about what you told him, then chuckled a little.

Beta: Finn is gonna be pissed. Lets hope he doesn't have another one of those outbursts.

Back with you, Meggy and Tari, you managed to win with the other two. As you all cheered in victory, you get a text from SMG4.

Y/N: Hang on, I've gotta chat with Glitchy.

Tari: Alright, we had fun with you.

Meggy: Yeah, we should do this again some other time.

Y/N: Definitely, I'll look forward to it, see ya!

You walked down the hallway, you passed by Bob who waved at you, you waved back, as you continued down the hallway, you reach SMG4.

SMG4: Ah, Hey Y/N.

Y/N: Hey SMG4, Whats up?

SMG4: Nothing, but I think we have a problem..

Y/N: What is it?..
