Back at the lab, Dr Light was making the final adjustments to Cut Man's new anti-hacking software just as Rock returned with Bomb Man. "You've been working pretty hard," said Dr Light, "why don't you take some time to rest for a moment. Perhaps you'd be interested in something to eat besides energy capsules. Roll is finishing something really nice to eat in the kitchen." "That... Actually sounds like an amazing idea," said Rock. The hero made sure to carefully find a place to set Bomb Man down before heading off to the kitchen. The robot Master was a little heavier than he looked, so Rock had worked up quite an appetite.

Dinner was a simple little beef stew dish that Roll had whipped together. The three happily ate the meal, and only leaving a small container of leftovers that Doctor Light called dibs on later.

"Now that I've eaten," said Rock, "I think now would be a good time to stop Ice Man." "How did you know his weakness was the Hyper bomb?" Asked Doctor Light. "I didn't," said Rock, "but I'm pretty sure it's a bad thing he's frozen the nearby coastline."

That was true, the beaches and docks were now under a thick blanket of snow, and the ocean nearby was frozen solid. Not only would it make for a cold day at the beach, but this disturbance could cancel the shipment of goods being imported or exported, not to mention the poor ecosystem being frozen beneath the ice.

Rock quickly used the RTN to make his way to the coastline, armed with only three weapons.

Rock couldn't help but stare as soon as he beamed down from the sky. "To think little ol Ice Man did all of this," he mumbled to himself as he shot down a few robot minions. The snow was also iced up, making a very slippery surface beneath his feet. After a moment of aimlessly sliding, Rock grabbed the nearest frozen palm tree to stop the sliding. "I should of asked about these boots' traction," Rock muttered to himself as he made his way down the coastline.

At first, it seemed logical to look for Ice Man in the ship hangers. However, each one turned out to be occupied by some other kind of robots. Most of these fights resulted in some energy lost, but a jumbo capsule he happened upon was more than enough to restore that.

After looking around aimlessly for the short coat-clad Robot Master, Rock finally noticed a sky blue fortress with heavy metal doors out on the ice. It was obviously where Ice Man was, but getting to it was going to be hard. Especially with a pair of boots that had little to no traction on his feet. Using his Rolling cutter, Rock used it like an ice pick to navigate across the ice and into the metal doorway.

Thankfully, the hallway wasn't slippery, so it didn't kill him to walk across the hallway to get to Ice Man.

The hacking must not have worked so well on Ice Man's circuits, because the poor guy had a crazy case of split personality he never had before. "There's something dangerous up ahead sir!" He said in a scared, glitchy voice. "Oh? Freeze it at all costs, soldier!!" He answered himself in a deeper more possessed sounding voice.

"This isn't the Ice Man I remember," said Rock, "please come home, Dr Light can fix you!" "Sir... He looks like he's telling the truth..." He started in the weaker voice, "NO! FINISH YOUR MISSION SOLDIER! HE'S THE ENEMY!" The Sergeant broke through. "Sir yes sir!"

Ice Man started blasting ice towards Rock from his mouth on command. Rock quickly dodged to avoid getting frozen. "You leave me no choice!" Said Rock, blasting his buster towards the little coat-clad robot. Ice Man simply froze the shots in their tracks, not letting a single bullet touch him. Seeing his chance, Rock switched to the Hyper bomb, giving his armor a black and orange color scheme, before chucking a Bomb towards the distracted Ice man. Ice Man literally caught the bomb right before it exploded in his face, instantly shutting him down.

After copying the Ice slasher ability using his robotic arm, Rock wasted no time carrying Ice Man back to Light's lab so he could get repaired. Just as the two left, the sun began poking through the clouds, ready to melt the unwanted ice below.
