Rock placed Guts Man on the work bench as soon as Dr Light had finished Time Man's anti-hacking software. "You've done it Rock! You're a hero now!" Said Roll, giving her adopted brother the biggest hug she could muster. "I've saved the robot Masters," said Rock, "but Wily is still out there. If we could only find out where in the world he is..." "Rock! Roll! Come quick!" Said Dr Light from the living room, "you may want to come see this!"

Rock and Roll quickly ran into the living room, only to notice that on the news a giant yellow blobby creature was attacking the city. "What is that thing!?" Said Roll, completely disgusted by the big yellow blob on the screen. "I don't know, but it's cyclops eyes almost seems robotic," said Rock. "Robot or not, Dr. Wily is surely behind this said Dr Light, "if it is a robot, perhaps it can lead us to Wily's hideout. Rock nodded, put on his helmet, then raced to the city using the RTN.

The gigantic yellow blob was attacking everything in sight, everyone was running away frantically left and right. The city was in just about utter chaos, until a blue beam came down from the sky, revealing Rock as it landed. "Hey," a nearby news reporter said to her camera man, "it's Mega Man, try and get a good shot of him!" The two hid behind a pile of cars as the creature and teenage hero glared at each other.

"Bumo bumo bumomomo...." The creature seemed to speak, his gigantic metal eye locked on Rock. "So... Are you a machine? Did Wily build you or something? The blob continued to stare at the blue-clad teen, before slamming a giant yellow fist were he stood. Well, it tried to, because Rock managed to jump out of it's way as it made a gigantic splat on the asphalt, still enough force to break it.

Rock first tried shooting at it with his buster, but the slime-like body of the thing just absorbed the energy bullets. "Okay... Plan B..." Said Rock, equipping his Rolling cutter. The scissor blades cut clean through the goo as it cut the robots arm clean off, only for it to reattach and reform.

Without warning, the creature stretched and spun and molded into multiple different shapes as it attacked Rock. The creature soon caught Rock and tried drowning him in it's yellow slime body. Rock quickly equipped his helmet's visor as he struggled to pull himself out of the globby monstrosity. Soon he sank completely into the giant, causing the two news group members to gasp. However it wasn't over.

Suddenly, the glob just froze in place, and quickly turned from yellow sludge to icy blue crystal. Then a light crackling sound could be heard as a gigantic beam of electricity causing the ice to explode, revealing an exhausted Rock. Quite surprisingly, the blob's robot eye managed to survive the ordeal and it was still glaring at him. Rock simply picked it up and inspected it, revealing a big initial on the back. Dr. A.W.

"Wily," said Rock, "he wasted no time using the RTN to beam back to the lab, perhaps this could help him find that madman. Meanwhile, the news reporter and camera man stepped out of hiding. "That was awesome!" Said the camera man, "I'm lucky I didn't stop recording after I thought he was a goner!" "You did a perfect job," said the news reporter, "now come on, let's get this footage back to the studio! It's only a block away."
