Carol Mizuno is an 11 year old girl living in Axle City, a city completely technologically ahead. Where humans are aided by their robotic assistants, but at a young age, children are tought how to fight viruses at the Network Buster Academy, an academy that Carol and her friends, inclufing her crush Dante, attend. At the academy, students learn how to use the power of their Net Navis, robots that are given to a child when they enroll in the academy. The Net Navis are programmed to listen to their masters, but most kids at the school pit their Net Navis against each in a battle. Carol had just enrolled in the academy and yet doesn't have a Net Navi of her own, but soon she will find one that's perfect for her.
