I believe that noctowl is a "forgotten pokemon" (In there with the likes of Jinx and Golduck and all) So I'm happy to give it a Mega Evolution. So stay with me here when I say Mega Noctowl gets the Gale Wings ability. Before you go commenting below that this would be too OP, just hear me out. Gale Wings gives priority to all flying moves,
So Air slash, Mirror Move, Roost, and Defog get Priority. No priority brave bird (cough, cough, TALONFLAME) its sp attack, speed, and defensive stats rise. It trades in its normal type for the psychic type. Its appearance changes to where it has bigger wings and and a bigger tuft on its head. And its Talons get bigger as well.
Stat boosts:
30 sp attack
10 speed
40 defense
20 sp defense
