This is going to take place in the past
Like a year or so before Red ended up in Swapfell

~3rd POV~

It was around 11:00 am when Pup had convinced himself to get out of bed

Stretching a bit he rolled out of bed and onto the floor
"Ow"

He blinked still feeling drowsy before sitting up

'Did I over slept again ?
Sans is probably downstairs waiting for me'
He thought standing up

He went to his drawers to find some proper clothes
He hummed some tune as he pulled out his usual white shirt and blue jeans

Afterward he pulled out his dark orange jacket and put it on along with his shoes

He looked in his mirror on last time to see if he was missing anything else

'F*** the collar....' he thought before looking for the small strap

Raspberry had asked him to start wearing a dark red collar for safety measures
Ever since he'd been training with Alphys he was now higher up in the social ladder
The collar was just in case someone tried to mess with Papyrus
Still he only wore it when he was out by himself
For now though he just shoved the thing into his pocket and left

The house was surprisingly empty normally Raspberry was downstairs cleaning or making breakfast

'He's probably out'

Pup smiled
That meant he was home alone

For his first course of action was to eat breakfast
He went to the kitchen and opened the fridge
"Let's see:
Leftovers from yesterday  ?
Nah I'll eat that for lunch

I could make some toast
But we don't have butter...

Wait we have bacon !
Annnnd-"

He closed the fridge and opened the cabinet

"-we still have pancake batter
*Gasp* I can make those Bacon Pancakes !
Like...wait what's his name...Fin the dog ?
No that's not right.....well like that guy from that show !"

And with that Pup started on his quest to make the pancakes
Pulling out the ingredients he set them on the counter

"Okay first things first
How would you make bacon pancakes ?"

He hummed trough the song trying to remember the lyrics

"Well he put bacon in his pancakes so that's what I'm gunna do !"

He got a pan and heated it up
Then he added the bacon strips

"Hmm maybe I should watch the clip again
Just to make sure-"

He left to the living room
Under the table was a box that held CD's of shows that he assumed humans had watched before
His brother had found them at the dump and brought it back home for him
It was honestly a surprise that anyone in their right mind would throw away such amazing CD's

His brother never really watched them though saying they were for "kids" but yet he still watched this one called Gravity Falls with him on his days off from training with Alphys

He found the CD he was looking for
Popping it in he put the episode he remember that had the song

He decided to leave it playing while checked on the bacon
The 15 year old commended himself for his good job so far
'I wonder why I don't cook more often-
CRAP ThaTs WhY !!!'

The bacon was on fire

"S*** Sans there's a-
Wait he's not home-
S*** what do I do !?!?

Ok calm down Papyrus it's just a fire you have two options here:

Put out the fire

Or let it consume you and the house

Sans would probably be mad if the house catches fire so put it out it is"

He quickly grabbed the cup of milk he was going to use for the pancakes and poured it on the fire

"D-Did it work ?" He opened his eyes to see

He fire was out only leaving soggy burnt bacon

"Soooo probably can't eat that-
Better try again-"

~Time Skip~

"Wow I did it.....
I actually did it !
Haha !!
Who's useless now b****** !!!"

He had successfully made Bacon Pancakes

Without setting anything else on fire-

"Now to enjoy some delicious-"

The house phone rung

"Awwww come onnn-"

He looked at his pancakes on last time before going to the phone

"Yellow ?"

"Papyruns ? I'm surprised your up"

"Heeey-
Well what do you need bro ?"

"Nothing I'm just checking in
For all I know the house could be burning down"

"*nervous laughter* y-yeah"

"Papyrus did something happen ?"

"N-No
W-why do you ask ?"

"My older brother senses are telling me other wise"

"O-Older brother senses-
WE'rE the SaMe aGE !!"

"My soul manifest first~"

"You have no proof !"

"Mewhehehe I need no proof !...
Anyway you finished those chores I left you right ?"

No doubt about it !"

"Good because I expect them to be done when I get back at 1:00"

He looked at time

It was 12:50

'Sh**-'

"O-Okay I'll be seeing you then
Bye!"

"Wait I'm not-"

He hung up

"Shhhh******* !"

He looked at his plate of pancakes

"I'm sorry my sons but we must do this another time-"
He put the plate in the fridge

"Okay what do I have to do ?"

He looked around when he saw a sticky note on the freezer
"Here you are !
Now let's see...wash dishes,sweep,mop and fold  clothes from dryer"

He looked at the time again

12:52

"Toriel help me-"

~Time Skip~

Sans came home in a good mood
He unlocked the door and walked in

"Papyrus !
Guess what happened at-
DEaR ALl ThInGs HeaVeNlY !"

The house was an absolute mess
The TV was on
The floor was wet
There where towels all over the floor
And there was a big pile of dirt in the middle of the living room

"Papyrus ?!??
What in blazes did you do ?!?"

"Saaannnsss"

He followed the voice into the kitchen
Papyrus was on the floor looking like he had face planted

"Papyrus ?!?
What happened ?!?"

"The worst thing possible"

"What did someone broke in ?"

"Nu"

"Did you hurt yourself ?"

"Nu"

"Then what ?!?"

Picking his head from the floor with orange tears coming down his face he cried

"I-I dropped m-my pancaaakes !"

"............WHAT-"

~Another Time Skip~

The house was now clean

The brothers sat on the couch not speaking to each other

Papyrus broke the silence

"Sans"

"*sigh* Yes ?"

"A-Are you mad at me ?"

"....No Papyrus I'm not mad at you"

"Y-You sure ?"

"*sigh* Yes Papyrus I am sure"

".......I-I'm sorry I really didn't mean to make a mess"

"I know you didn't"

"I-I'm still sad that my pancakes are gone..
T-They were going to be the best pancakes ever...."

"I'm sure they were"

"........"

"C-Can you help me make more...?"

"Papyrus it's already lunch time-"

Sans then noticed he was crying

"Hey don't  cry !
I'm not mad at you
Honest  !"

"I-I'm sorry.."

"*sigh* Come here"

He pulled him into a hug

"Don't cry..
I'll tell you what:
Tomorrow before I got to my training we'll make some more pancakes
How's that ?"

"R-Really ?!?"

"Yup"

"Yes !"

"Hehe okay
Say what were in those pancakes of yours ?"

Pup smiled before singing

They looked at each other before laughing

After getting their giggles out Sans looked at his brother

"Hey Papyrus ?"

"Yeah ?"

"Never change okay ?"

"Heh okay but no promises"

"And also don't become a maid or something like that because no one will hire you"

"HeY-
I would took that as an insult if I knew that wasn't true"

"So you're saying that your good at cleaning ?"

"No I'm saying that no way is be something like that-
Trust me I don't want to spend my days working and cleaning for someone else
That's like giving away my self freedom"

"Yeah that's true and you'd probably look ugly in a dress-"

"*Gasp* Falsehood !"

"*laughing* no truthhood"

You say that the magnificent Sans is wrong ?"

"No I say the magnificent Sans needs to get his vision checked because I would look amazing !"

They sung together as they made breakfast

What a good day it was-

Welp there you go !
We were able to see more of Pup and Ras relationship so that's good UwU
I love writing young Pup because I get to put my own "personal" touch in him XD
And their brotherly relationship is soooo cute and wholesome

And then flipping Edge had to mess him up-
