// Castiel's POV
Cas opened his eyes to the sound of Highway To Hell by AC\DC blaring by his ear.
He jolted up and groaned.
He rubbed his eyes and looked down at his phone.
Someone was calling.
Who the hell was this? He didn't recognize the number.
He answered and brought it up to his ear.
"Hello?" He asked, his voice hoarse with sleep.
"U-uh I uh- I didn't mean. I'm sorry. Wrong number- " someone gasped from the other side of the phone.
"Dean?" Cas sat up straighter, a smile playing at his lips.
"U-uh who's this?" He asked.
Cas chuckled and laid back down on his bed.
"Don't you think that I should he asking that? It's Cas, hey there Winchester."
Dean stayed quiet for a while.
"Oh." He finally said.
Cas smiled and closed his eyes.
"How's it been Winchester?"
"I- uh. It's been okay I guess..." Dean's voice sounded a bit faded out.
"You okay?"
"Me? Uh yea."
Cas sighed and slowly nodded.
"Sure you are. Look. I won't ask. But- hello Dean." He grinned.
"Hello Castiel..."
Cas groaned and rolled over on his side.
"I've told you not to call me that! Just call me Cas!"
He heard Dean giggle and sigh. Cas' grin grew wider and he opened his eyes.
"Well, hello Cas." Dean stated. Cas could hear him smiling as he spoke.
"Hey Dean. How was your first day of school?" Cas clicked his tongue.
He could hear tapping from the other side of the line as if Dean were thinking.
"It was good I guess...I mean that whole thing with Alastair was a bit crazy and meeting you was even crazier!" He laughed.
Cas laughed too.
Why did this feel so normal? He felt like he had known him for years! Damn...he was way too wrapped up with this kid.
"Well that's good. And you better be grateful that I saved your sorry ass or you'd probably be in the hospital!"
"Thank you."
Cas sat up again and closed his eyes.
"For what?"
"For...today. You kinda helped me with Alastair. And you actually talked to someone like me." Dean sighed.
Cas opened his eyes and smiled slightly.
"Well you're welcome Dean Winchester."
He heard shuffling from the other side of the phone and distant mumbling.
"Sorry- I uh...I've got to go. Sammy's awake."
"Oh okay. Say hi to him for me will ya?"
"I will....bye."
"Bye"
Cas ended the call with a click and fell back on his bed.
Dean had called.
He thought he wouldn't. That he'd just forget him or something or want nothing to do with someone who looked like Cas.
But Dean had called him and Cas was happy.
Cas wandered over to the restroom and splashed water on his face.
He walked into the kitchen and pulled out a beer.
Castiel opened it and walked over to Gabriel's room. He was still sleeping.
Cas walked over to the living room and took a swing of his beer.
He thought of the past events. Dean had actually called him. They talked and laughed and Cas felt complete. Well almost...but-
It's just a crush...right?
