32. Something Romantic
*HELLO HELLO HELLO GUYS! How was that last chapter? Good? Cause yea-- it was, and if you didn't like it, then I'm sorry and I'll just go cry now*
WARNING: the moment you have all been waiting for shall arrive soon (not the frick frack, the "something romantic" which you probably haven't been waiting for and something else. It might be frick frack but who knows)
// Castiel's POV
Castiel heard the sound of a soft guitar playing in his room.
Probably part of the dream he was having. Dean and him were having this really romantic dinner and there were candles and roses and--
"Someone's always coming around here...trailing some knew kill..." A voice sang to him.
Okay that's not a dream. Then get up you assbutt! Don't call me an assbutt, assbutt! Just open your eyes dammit!
"Says 'I've seen your picture on a hundred dollar bill..." the voice sang again, still playing the guitar.
Castiel slowly opened his eyes and looked around. There was nothing from where he was looking.
"What's a game of, chance to you, to him is one... of real skill... so glad to meet you, Angeles..."
That was coming from behind him.
Castiel rolled over and looked around.
Sitting in a chair in front of the bed, was Dean.
"Picking up the ticket shows there's, money to be made... go one and lose the gamble that's the, history of the trade...did you add up, all the cards left to play...to zero, and sign up with evil, Angeles..."
Dean looked at Castiel and smiled.
"Morning sunshine." He winked.
Castiel smiled and slowly sat up.
"Morning..." he yawned and stretched.
"How'd you sleep?"
"Like a-- I actually don't know. But I slept very well thanks for asking." Cas yawned and rubbed his eyes.
"Well that's good cause it is currently two in the afternoon."
Castiel's eyes widened and he looked at the clock on his night stand.
"Wow...well then, if you'll excuse me, I'm going back to bed." Cas smiled before burying himself in the blankets again.
Dean laughed, set the guitar down and wandered over to Castiel.
"Hey! Get up!"
"No..."
"Babe! Come on!"
"Fuck off."
"Baaaeee don't be like that!"
"Let me sleep, assbutt."
"Bee, get up. Please."
"...no"
Dean groaned and started violently shaking Castiel.
"Get your lazy ass up!"
"Fuck off Dean! I need my beauty rest! Don't you want me to be gorgeous for you?" Cas whined and stayed quiet.
There was silence between the two boys and Castiel thought he had won when he heard Dean sit back in the chair and some strange noises come from his mouth ((if ya know what I mean))
"Dean?" Castiel asked, cautiously.
"...Cas." He heard a faint, desperate whisper. "Fuck...Cas...mmm..."
What. What. wHAT?! wHaT?! WHAT?! IDK WHAT?! WHATS HE DOING?! Shh let me
Listen
"Y-yes...Cas-- hng...oh god!" Dean cried out.
Castiel knew what he was doing. Dean was trying a different way of getting Cas out of bed.
"C-Cas-- please!"
It was working.
"P-please! I gotta-- I have to-- "
"OKAY I'M UP! SHEESH!" Castiel yelled before jumping out of bed and glaring at Dean who was sitting in the chair with an innocent smile as if he wasn't doing anything wrong.
"Yay!" He cheered. Castiel rolled his eyes and walked into the bathroom.
"Where are Sam and Gabe?" He called.
"They went out somewhere." Dean replied and began putting the chair back from where he got it.
Castiel took care of his business and walked back out into the kitchen.
"Where'd you get the guitar?" He asked, beginning to make breakfast.
"I went back to the building where we had the high school reunion thing and grabbed one from the music room."
"So you stole it."
"No."
"Is it yours?"
"No."
"So you stole it?"
"No."
"Of course you didn't."
Dean laughed and strolled into the kitchen, wrapping his arms around his waist and leaning his head on his shoulder.
"Bee?"
"Hmm?"
"Why are you making breakfast in the afternoon?"
Castiel quickly stopped cracking eggs and placed them aside.
He walked over to the fridge, Dean still on him, and looked around before closing it, grabbing his phone and waving it around.
"Pizza?" He suggested.
Dean smiled and nodded.
"That sounds better."
Castiel smiled widely and dialed the correct number before bringing the phone up to his ear and ordering his food.
After a while of speaking Cas turned his head towards Dean and pulled the phone down.
"They're asking if we need any special directions?"
Dean thought for a moment before shrugging.
Castiel's smile widened and he ran away from Dean and into his room to give the specific instructions.
((ehuehuehue what could it be?))
+++++
There was a knock at the door around twenty minutes later and Castiel smirked to himself.
"Dean! The door!"
Dean groaned from another room.
"You're right there! Get it yourself!"
"But it's too faaar!" Cas whined as they knocked again.
Dean groaned again before reluctantly walking to the door.
"Lazy..." he mumbled under his breath and opened the door, Castiel waiting expectantly.
"Well hello there." The delivery boy smirked. "Are you a babysitter? Cause I'm your Pizza Man." The man finished and pulled a rose from behind his back and placing it between his teeth ((no thorns cx)).
Dean kinda just stood there, Castiel laughing widely in the background.
Dean felt his face go bright red and he glared at Castiel.
"T-those were special instructions, sir. I- I had to follow those. I'm sorry if it bothered you." The delivery boy managed to say.
Dean looked back at him and smiled, taking the pizza from his hands and paying him.
"I could be your babysitter." Dean winked and the delivery boy's face flushed a dark red as he thanked Dean for buying the pizza and left.
Castiel's mouth opened in shock and he sat in a corner of the couch, sulking.
"Pizza's here!" Dean called and walked over to him.
Castiel pulled his knees up to his chest and buried his face in them.
"I don't want any." He mumbled.
"But why?"
Castiel didn't respond and shook his head.
"Bee...what's wrong?"
Castiel shook his head again and stayed quiet.
"You're jealous aren't you?"
Castiel flinched and shook his head frantically.
Dean sighed and walked away, taking the pizza with him.
After a few minutes of silence, Castiel slowly lifted his head to find out he was alone.
"Dean?" He whispered.
Then someone knocked at the door.
Castiel slowly stood up and walked towards it. They knocked again.
When he opened the door, Dean was standing there wearing a random baseball cap.
"Hey! Uh-- I was wondering if you were the babysitter? I mean, a received an address to come to this house for the babysitter. Oh! Nice to meet you, I'm the Pizza Man."
Castiel rolled his eyes and closed the door, laughing to himself.
Dean knocked again.
Castiel opened the door slowly and looked at him.
"Want me to show you what the Pizza Man taught me?" Dean asked with a suggestive wink.
Castiel laughed, took the pizza and closed the door again.
"Caaaas! Open the door!" Dean whined and scratched at the door.
Castie set the box at the table and began eating.
"Beeeeee! Please!"
After Cas had finished a slice, he wandered back to the door and slowly opened it. Dean had been leaning on it so he ended up falling on top of Cas, causing them both to stumble onto the floor.
"Oh god, get off me!" Castiel yelled, trying to push Dean off. Dean lifted his head and looked down at cas with a smirk.
"The view's nice." He whispered, leaning in slowly.
Castiel felt his cheeks heat up.
Dean was a few inches from his face when he stopped and stared at him with wide eyes.
"You ate the pizza. . ." He whispered.
"What?" Castiel asked, trying to sit up.
"You ate the pizza!" Dean yelled before getting up and running into the kitchen.
Castiel stood up and ran after him.
"I only had a slice!"
Dean found the pizza box and ate a slice before closing the box and putting it away.
"What time is it?" He asked, calmly. Castiel eyed him carefully before checking his phone.
"Almost four. Why?"
Dean looked around nervously before grabbing the keys to the Impala and running out of the house.
"Dean wait! Where are you going?!" Castiel yelled after him, but Dean didn't answer.
"Assbutt..." Castiel mumbled and walked around the house, looking for something to do.
Hey. What is it? You really like Dean don't you? Yea... You love him right? Of course. It's almost Valentines day you know. And? You should do something nice for him before then. Like what? Oh I don't know, buy him a certain ring...?
Castiel felt a smile spread across his face. He quickly grabbed his laptop and checked his bank account. He should have enough money from the few years of college he went to.

// Dean's POV
Dean looked around his wallet and found the right amount of money. He had been saving up for this moment and it was finally here.
Dean walked into the jewelry store and looked around nervously.
"May I help you?" A woman asked looking down at a computer.
"Charlie?!" Dean asked.
She looked up and smiled widely.
"DEAN! OH MY GAWD! HI!"
Dean laughed and quieted her down.
"What are you doing here? Don't tell me your-- oh god. Are you really?!" She asked, hope flickering in her eyes.
Dean blushed and looked down at his feet before nodding. Charlie squealed and hugged him over the desk she was at.
"I'll find a perfect one for you!"
"Thanks. I was also wondering if you could write something on it."
Charlie squealed again and nodded, asking him questions of what to put on it and how much it would be.
It was almost time. He already had Sam and Gabriel doing their part.

// Castiel's POV
Castiel wandered around the jewelry store ((a different one of course)) for someone he could ask for help.
"Hello! Welcome to Jared's Jewelers!" A man smiled at him. Castiel smiled and walked up to him.
"Hi. I was um looking for something special for--"
"You're girlfriend? Wife?" The man interrupted.
"Er, boyfriend."
"Oh." The man's smile faded and it turned into a disgusted face. "Oh god you're one of them."
"If by 'them' you mean a gay human, then yes."
"Oh god. Yea I can't help you. I'm afraid no one can." He shrugged and smirked at Cas.
"What?!"
"I'm sorry sir I ca-- "
"Fuck off Uriel." A voice stated. The man turned around and gritted his teeth.
"What do you want Kevin?" He sneered.
"I'm here to attend a customer. Go attend someone else."
Uriel rolled his eyes and walked away.
Kevin smiled at Cas and walked up to him.
"Nice to meet you. Name's Kevin."
"Castiel."
"So what can I do for you?"
"It doesn't bother you? That I'm gay?"
"Oh god no!" Kevin laughed and wandered to a few rings. "I'm totally fine with it. So what can I help you with today?"
"Well I'm here to buy a ring and I was wondering if you could engrave something into it."
Kevin made a clicking noise with his tongue and started typing rapidly on his computer.
"Certainly."

// TIME FOR A THING \\ A FEW HOURS LATER //
Castiel walked around the house nervously, fiddling with the small box in his hands.
He wondered what he should say.
How would Dean react?
What if something went wrong?
Whoa, calm your tits! Everything will be fine. *sigh* I hope it will.
Castiel's phone began to ring and he ran towards it, answering.
"Hello?"
"Hey! I uh-- I'll be home soon. Just um dress nicely." Dean stated. Castiel could hear him smiling through the phone but he didn't know why.
"Dress up? Why?"
"Remember I said I would do something romantic for you?"
Castiel felt his cheeks heat up and he slowly nodded but remember Dean couldn't exactly see him so he answered yes.
"Okay well I'm doing something romantic for you."
"Oh. . .okay."
"Yea. See you at home."
Castiel hung up and ran towards his room.
He grabbed the only suit he had and put it on, throwing on a trench coat with it.
Dean was doing something nice for him. Castiel could do it then.
It was pretty late and Cas had begun to worry about Sam and Gabriel. He wondered where they went.
About half an hour later, someone knocked on the back door of the house, where the backyard was.
Castiel slowly walked toward it to find no one there. He opened the door and found a trail of roses leading into the backyard and around the house.
Castiel placed the box in his pocket and began to follow the trail, wondering where it would lead him to and if this was Dean's doing.
Castiel followed the rose petals until he reached the middle of a heart made from the petals.
There was no one there.
"Dean?"
Soon he heard the giggles of Sam and Gabriel. And soon the were skipping around Cas, each holding a basket and tossing rose petals everywhere.
"Guys?! What are you doing here?" Cas asked.
"We were part of the plan." Gabriel smiled widely and kept skipping around.
"What plan?"
"My plan." Dean said behind him.
Castiel quickly turned around and faced Dean who was walking up to him. He was wearing a black suit and a black bow tie ((cue doctor who fans)). In short, he looked amazing.
Dean walked up to him and smiled.
"Hey Cas."
"Hello Dean." Castiel whispered and smiled. "So this is the something romantic you planned?"
Dean looked around at the floor and smiled.
Sam and Gabriel had disappeared again but you could hear them laughing somewhere.
"Well it's part of what I had planned."
Castiel squinted and tilted his head to the size.
"What's the other part?"
Dean stayed quiet for a while before the laughing got louder and Sam yelled 'ready'.
He took Castiel's hand and walked him to where Sam and Gabe were.
On the ground, made with rose petals were the words:
Meeting You
Castiel looked at them and back at Dean, looking for an explanation.
"What is that supposed to mean?" He asked, Sam and Gabriel waiting patiently in the back.
Dean smiled softly and squeezed Cas' hands.
"It means, meeting you has been one of the best things to ever happen to me. Meeting you has completely changed my entire life. Meeting you changed who I was and opened new doors of possibilities. And I know I was an idiot for leaving you for eight years but I had to make sure nothing happened to Sam. Meeting you has made me change who I am as a person. I've been able to care more about things because of you. I've seen more things with you than I ever have without you. Castiel. I need you. I never knew how much I needed you before but I truly need you to be part of my life."
Castiel watched him, wide eyed as Dean lowered himself on one knee and pull out a small velvet box from his pocket.
"So I ask you, Castiel Novak. Would you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?" He asked, smiling and his eyes full of hope as he opened the box to reveal a ring in the center of it with the words, Forever and Always.
Castiel felt his eyes fill with tears. Then he started laughing. At first soft giggles, then full fledged laughing.
"Cas...?" Dean asked, with a worried tone.
Castiel stopped laughing and pulled out his own box from his pocket.
"Dean Winchester. Tonight I was going to ask for your hand, but alas, you have beat me to it. But that doesn't mean I wont do it." Cas smiled and also leaned down on one knee, opening the box to reveal his ring which had the word, Always.
"I ask of you Dean Winchester, will you make me the most fortunate man and become my husband?"
Dean's face broke into a wide smile as he began laughing and nodding frantically.
"Of course I want to be your husband Castiel. Will you be mine?" Dean asked nervously.
Castiel smiled widely and stood up, extending his hand for Dean to take.
Once they were both standing Castiel crashed his lips against Dean's.
"I would love to marry you." He smiled and said once they pulled away.
"OH MY GOD! SAM THEY'RE GETTING MARRIED SAM! SAM DO YOU REALIZE THIS?! THEY'RE GETTING MARRIED AND-- wait...we'll be brother in laws. What." Gabriel screamed.
"Shhh don't think about that." Sam whispered and looked down at the flower petals in the basket before grabbing some and dropping them in Gabriel's hair.
Everything was perfect. Just like they all hoped it would be. Nothing could change that.
*OMG HI GUYS! WASNT THAT A REALLY LONG CHAPTER?! I HOPE YOU LIKED IT!! SO THERE WAS NO FRICK FRACK. Sorry. Also 'nothing could change that' ehehe maybe something will. See you next time!
