// Dean's POV
"You're right, Becky...she's interfering with the ship. And we can't have that." Charlie replied to whatever Becky had told her.
Dean fiddled with his glasses and looked closely at them.
"S-sorry...what are you talking about?" He asked slowly.
Charlie and Becky turned to face him with sad smiles.
"Don't worry, Dean. You don't know what a ship is...not many people do." Becky tried to comfort.
Dean chuckled and pulled off his glasses, wiping them on his sweater.
"Oh you don't understand, Becky. I know exactly what a ship is. I just don't get who you're shipping."
Charlie and Becky's faces lit up with joy. They ran up to him, embracing him in a tight hug.
"We're so happy we've met some one else who knows what a ship is!" They said in sync. Dean patted their back and they pulled away. Charlie cleared her throat and adjusted her imaginary glasses.
"However, I will not be telling you who we are currently shipping. If I do, things will go down hill and our ship will sink. And if it sinks, we're all going down with it." Charlie glared at Dean for a while before saluting, her face full of determination.
Dean rolled his eyes and put his glasses back on the bridge of his nose.
"Aw, come on Charlie, can't we tell him?" Becky whispered.
Charlie turned to her and shook her head.
"No Becky. Do you want one of them to feel super uncomfortable and avoid the other?" She whispered angrily in return.
Dean watched the two bicker for around five more minutes until he cleared his throat loudly.
"Girls. I don't need to know. That's your personal business." He smiled beforre beginning to walk off.
"The ship name is Destiel. That's all we're saying." Charlie also began to walk away. Dean glanced behind him before walking further from them.
"The ship is between you and Cas!" Becky yelled.
Charlie quickly turned around.
"Becky!"
"Oops." Becky said, clasping her hands over her mouth.
Dean quickly turned around towards them, his eyes wide.
"What?" He asked, shocked. Charlie ran over to Dean, trying to calm him down from the sudden news.
"Dean. Dean calm down. It's okay- "
"Charlie?! W-What do you two mean the ship is with me and Cas? I don't understand what's- " He cut himself off and took in a deep breath. He closed his eyes and stayed quiet for a while before continuing. "Why would you ship me and Castiel?"
Charlie scratched the back of her neck and laughed nervously.
"Well I mean...I don't want you to feel uncomfortable and-- " She started but was cut off by Becky once again.
"It's because of the way he describes and talks about you!" She yelled. Charlie shot her a look and Becky quickly covered her mouth again.
Dean blushed and cleared his throat.
"H-how does he describe me?"
Charlie looked over at him in shock, but she smiled.
"Oh it's wonderful Dean! He goes off into his own little world when he talks about you." She said twirling herself and Becky around.
"He always talks about how you're so adorable!" Becky smiled.
Dean's blush darkened and he fiddled with the strap of his bag.
The girls stopped spinning and eyed Dean closely. Charlie walked up close and person to him and smiled.
"And he's always talking about your eyes." She whispered.
Dean's eyes widened.
Is Cas...Does-- does Cas...what?
// Castiel's POV
Cas wandered around the outskirts of the school. He passed a few people playing football and others playing soccer.
He passed groups of girls giggling and gossiping. He passed by more than one couple sucking their faces off of each other.
And then he looked over by the benches outside of the school. He saw Charlie, Becky, and Dean all huddled together. Dean's face could've been easily mistaken with a strawberry. Charlie looked calm, a bit giggly bug calm. And-- well Becky...you know the drill.
Cas had to think and debate with himself about actually going.
They're fangirling.
But Dean's there...and you know how much you--
No! Shut up! Okay...I'll go. But only because I have no where else to go...not for Dean...
Cas really needed to stop fighting with himself.
He wandered over to them, hands in his pockets.
"Hey guys..." He smirked. Becky's breath caught in her throat and she grabbed on to Charlie's arm.
Charlie looked over at Cas and smiled.
"Hey, Cassie..." she stated behind gritted teeth. Dean slowly turned around and faced him. His face grew a deeper shade of read as he cleared his throat.
"H-hi...Cas..." Dean smiled shyly. Their eyes locked, causing Cas to be the one to blush this time.
"What were you guys talking about..." he asked, trying to look away from Dean's eyes.
Charlie cleared her throat loudly, causing Dean to quickly look away.
"We were just...you know-- talking. About...boats..." Charlie tried to smile. Cas' face flushed as he glanced over at Dean, who was fiddling with his glasses.
"'Boats.' Right...anyways-- did they cause you any trouble, Dean?" Cas asked giving Dean his best puppy eye look. Dean blushed darkly and shook his head frantically.
Becky clutched her chest and twirled around.
"The fluff..." she whispered. Charlie grabbed her arm and started dragging her away.
"I'll just leave you two here while I try and calm this girl down. See you!" She waved and pulled Becky with her.
Dean looked like he would follow them, in an attempt to escape being left alone with Cas, but he stayed.
Cas turned to face Dean completely and nudged him with his elbow.
"So, tell me the truth Deanie...did they scare you with their ships?" He stated as he sat down on one of the benches. Dean sat next to him and sighed.
"Well honestly...they didn't really scare me...they just sort of, surprised me." He tried to explain.
Cas nodded and pulled a cigar out of his pocket and placed it into his mouth, unlit.
Dean looked over at him and narrowed his eyes.
"Why do you do that?" He asked. Cas raised an eyebrow at him.
"Do what? Be awesome?" He said as he winked.
Dean laughed and shook his head.
"We can talk about that another time Cas. I'm asking...why do you put cigars in your mouth if you never light 'em?"
Cas' eyes widened a bit. No one really ever asked him that.
"Well you see, my lovely Winchester, I-- the awesome person I am, used to smoke. I have quit...but I just like the feeling of having it in my mouth. Don't worry, I don't have any lighters...so, can't light 'em."
Dean smiled and shook his head.
"So you haven't fully quit?"
Cas tried to say something witty in return, but he couldn't make the words come out.
Dean smirked.
"Thought so...well my dear Castiel, best way to quit, is to get rid of the cigars." He stated extending his hand towards Cas.
Cas eyed Dean's hand and chuckled.
"What? You want me to kiss it?"
Dean rolled his eyes and adjusted his glasses.
"Hand the pack over."
"But-- "
"Now."
If it were any other person, Cas would've ignored them and never given them his pack, but Dean...damn Dean. He just had to be the one Cas had a crush on.
He pulled the small box from the front pocket of his jacket and handed it to Dean.
Dean smiled at his accomplishment and put the box in his pant pocket.
"Thank you." They both said at the same time.
Both boys looked over at each other, blushing. They laughed nervously and looked away.
Cas took a quick glance at Dean and smiled to himself.
There's just something about you, Winchester...why'd I have to fall for you? You're way too good for me...
