Fourth Slice

"Have you seen a group of pirates or a submarine around here?" Jimbei came back with Luffy from the forest. They seemed to be alright, which undoubtably was a good thing. From all the screaming from Luffy anyone could guess he was dead.

"If you're talking about Trafalgar, he took off. He left a message for Luffy. Stay in bed for two more weeks." At Rayleigh's words Luffy frowned.

"He saved your life, didn't he?"

You said nothing while they talked simply smiling at the sight that the two from the forest were both okay. Never once did you find fighting to be ideal, if you could you'd always win through words alone. Your fighting was reserved only for the times when they were needed. These times were to protect the ones who needed to be protected. It was too idealistic to think violence could be won by a safe route, such as words, this was true in some cases but when it's not, violence is the only choice. When violence fights with violence, someone's hands will always be bloodied.

"Huh? You're still here?" Luffy questioned your presence.

"Yes? Should I not be?" You retaliated back with another question, conversation not really going anywhere.

"Yes you should be."

"Umm... Luffy I'm not sure you know this but, your not making any sense. Why should I?"

"So I can ask you about your powers!" His eyes practically sparkled with interest as his arms shot up into the air. "They were so awesome!"

Rayleigh seemed to be enjoying Luffy's reactions, chuckling at them. Jimbei just sighed, wondering how he could change so quickly.

"Show me! Show me!" Luffy kept pestering you to show him your powers once again after they were first revealed in Marineford.

"Seems someone has their arms full." Rayleigh didn't hesitate to comment.

"Okay okay. Luffy calm down." Your words instantly made Luffy be still, miraculously. "Only on two conditions." He quickly nodded his head up and down, fully focusing on the conditions at hand. "One, I have to meet your crew. Two, I'm thinking of asking to join it if you'll allow me to. I mean you seem kind of cool and I'm already wanted so I couldn't just live a normal life and-" you kept rambling on until Luffy kindly interrupted you.

"Deal. Shishishi." Luffy stuck out his hand, not regretting or thinking the conditions out. Simply letting out a small laugh and a large smile.

"Just like that? No thinking it over or anything?"

"Don't need to. I was going to ask you to join anyways." His kind words nearly set your heart a flutter. He was a dangerous man, the most dangerous kind at that. One of those that people followed and trusted with all of their heart, someone who obtains many trustworthy allies. You became ensnarled in the trap too, you were not an exception to that rule.

"Well, look at that. Touching." The old man commented again, reminding himself of his old pirate days aboard Roger's ship.

"Oh oh and on the crew we have Zoro who's grumpy. Nami hits people. There's also Usopp, he has a funny looking nose." Luffy stretched out his nose to look like the snipers. " Sanji is an amazing chef, I can't wait to eat his cooking again! Next is Chopper who's a doctor, he's a reindeer-" he quickly cuts of to whisper that he looks like a raccoon dog. "And Robin, she's scary and likes old stuff. Franky he made the Thousand Sunny and he's-" he once again cuts himself off to strike a pose. "Super! And then there is Brook. He's a skeleton that poops! He also is a musician and asks girls to see their panties all the time. I don't get it but, he's pretty cool. I know they'd like you but Zoro would probably be all grumpy at first since he doesn't know you. He gets over it." Luffy kept mumbling on random things about the crew members, quite animatedly as he flailed around with excitement.

All of this made Luffy's stomach rumble in hunger, and as if on cue, the women of Amazon Lily brought a heaping serving of food. The empress herself claiming it was all for Luffy.
