Valerie sat on the stairs of the small bus that was going to take her and the others to M.A.D.S. house number 15 trying to fix what she saw as imperfections in her hair "hello Valerie" Valerie looked up to see her mentor "Hi Mr.Shoriston!" "you wanna come on to the front" he replied "The maxtros will be here soon" Valerie hopped up from her spot "I'd love to!" as Valerie walked towards the front she got lots of mixed emotions she felt excited about this new experience but also nervous what if everyone hated her as if reading her mind Willcurd spoke up "they're going love you" he beamed down at her which made her feel a lot better but she still had butterflies when they arrived at the front she felt like such an outcast as the only teenager but soon she saw various moving vehicles pulling up but every time she thought someone was coming towards them she would always be mistaken when suddenly she heard the loudest car horn in her life and it sounded more like a blow horn than a real car horn and then a giant dust cloud came up and when she looked up she saw the craziest RV she had seen in her life it looked like all the holidays came together to poop decorations on that RV inside the RV she heard a lot of yelling and crashing until a body came falling out of the top and rolling to the ground Valerie was going to help but Willcurd held her back then a head popped out the top of the thing and shouted "DAVEY ARE YOU A'RIGHT?" Val watched as the boy got up and gave a thumbs up and a big grin which showed 4 teeth missing two on top and two on bottom "I OK DAVE!" she noticed the grammar mistake but before she had time to really dwell on it the other boy came falling and Valerie could see now the boys were twins and as if on cue they both shouted "BETTY!!!!" then she saw a head full of curly blonde hair. A girl jumped out the top and landed perfectly on the ground as if she'd done that a thousand times "Whats the problem!" she asked in high pitch peppy voice while singing the last word "You made Davey loose a nutter tooth!" the girl probably didn't even hear him because she was going around to other people and saying hi when she got Valerie and Willcurd she shouted "HOWDY ME PEEPS!!!!!" but before she could get away Willcurd grabbed her hand and whispered to Valerie "let me deal with this ones" she just nodded her head "whoa there partner your with us!" the girl stopped and with a goofy grin on her face looked them up and down then out of no where shouted "AWESOME SAUCE TOTALLY KAWAII!!!!!" as Valerie looked at her she realized how much taller the girl was than her and became unsure of herself "Um,how old are you?" the girl had to think about it for a second but then Willcurd interrupted "Nope ,we do not talk about these things until dinner that's when we get to know each other!" Betty started bouncing up and down like a rabbit around the two "ooohhhhh I just love surprises and mysteries!" Valerie smiled at her she seemed like a fun person but maybe a bit too wild but a little loose can be good sometimes right? "um Valerie do mind directing others to the bus i'm gonna go and try to get her calmed down ." Valerie really didn't want to do this by herself what if she got another one like the girl but how could she say no "Sure but how will i know who's in our group and who isn't?" he handed her a clipboard and pen then had to go off because the girl ran off somewhere!after a couple of minutes she noticed a dirt bike speeding her way and then some one yell "OUT THE WAY" Valerie got the message loud and clear she jumped out of the way and ran to the other side the person riding the bike stopped it right where she was standing she looked around and every one acted like nothing happened the kid riding the dirt bike hopped off and ran over when he approached her he rubbed the back of his neck "Uh yeah sorry about that.I don't really ride bikes often and my mom's car broke down and i have a hard time-" "Wait ,Wait stop! you rode a bike here?" the boy looked confused for a moment then realization hit him "yeah my house isn't far from here so it wasn't that bad" she just nodded her head then replied "Are you on this list?" the boy looked at the list and quickly replied "Yep!" Valerie pointed towards the bus "then go that way and you'll find the head caretaker!" she exclaimed he smiled"thanks and sorry again!" then he grabbed his stuff and rode towards the bus she heard a crash and screaming and could only laugh to herself. The next car to show up for them was a retro black and red car it looked new and expensive a women came out and was yelling and ranting so much Valerie didn't know what she was saying she started throwing bags out of the car after she threw the bags out she dragged a boy out the back seat threw him out then drove away Valerie was shocked and disgusted by the whole thing she turned and saw people laughing and that made her even more "Hey Stop It!" she shouted towards them they turned to her and the boy looked up and she figured if she started it minus well finish it "Just Stop Being Jerks!" she said a bit more calm now they were glaring at her but she didn't care Valerie walked over to the boy and started helping him "Are you ok?" she asked he just nodded his head yes and said a quiet "thank you" he was a lot different from everyone else she met so far "if your on this list you go to the bus over there!"she tried to say encouragingly she was happy because she saw a slight smile tug on his lips and again quietly he gave another thanks then headed towards the bus and she was worried how it would go with someone as quiet as him with and someone as loud as Betty Valerie was kind of worn out and she's only been through about half the people she still had more to go through!
