Talking

Moon

  "Wake up."

I am in the arms of S.

But how can I trust that?

  I scream, inching back.

I saw my dagger with his blood covering it.

"What did you do to him?!?!" I scream, not letting my eyes off him.

I don't want him to hurt me again.

  I want S.

I want him to tell me he's okay.

But from the blood on my dagger, how can I know if he's even alive?

"It's okay!  It's me!  It's ok.  Don't be afraid of me...  Please...."

  I don't buy his begging.

But something in me tells me that it's genuine.  But I'm not taking any chances.

I stare at my blade.  I scuffle back farther.  I don't want it to be true.

I don't want him to be dead.

"It's me...  Please, Moon....  Don't do this to me..."  His eyes are getting glassy.

This was him. He wasn't lying.  He was alive. He was battered, but still okay.

Tears start spilling from his eyes.

He stabs my dagger into the floor.  It looked like he was confused.  Angry.

His suit was torn to ribbons, his skin gaping open from whatever he fought to get to me.

  He fought for me.

  Risked his life for me.

He is shaking, head in his hands.

He weakly punches the floor in defeat.

I can't stand to see him like this.

I leverage myself up, walking the way I was before.

I keep using my wings as crutches, but my feet and legs are almost completely numb.

My knees give out, and he catches me.

He puts me on my back, my forehead on his, clutching me close to his chest.

He slowly rocks me, and I feel salty rain bounce into my hair.

I wrap my arms around him, and I start crying.

If it wasn't for him, I could be who knows where.

If it weren't for me, he wouldnt've risked his life.

He could have died because of my stupidity.

So many times I failed him.

So many times he saved me.

I keep saying "I'm sorry." But I say it so fast even I don't know what I'm saying anymore.

"I love you."  I say, wrapping my arms tighter around him.

  He goes stiff.

"I love you, too." He keeps rocking me, holding me tight.

I keep listening to the drum of his heart, and he keep his chin on my head.

  He squeezes me tight.

"Kind of need to breath here." I say, and he relaxes a little.

  He laughs.

I relax my arms, looking at his face.

  He was so handsome.

But we were friends since we were children. Isn't that kind of wierd to have a relationship now?

I ignore the awkwardness, and I bring his face close to mine, pecking his cheek.

  His face goes red.

  He smiles.

He picks me up, standing with ease.

He eases me to my feet, gently holding my hand.

My left knee gives out, and I end up falling to one knee.

He tries to help me up, but I put up my hand.

"I have to do this myself."

  He nods, smiling.

I use my left wing as a prop, and the right as a counter-balance.

I push up on the left, giving some of the weight to the right.

I also push on ny left thigh, and that takes most of the pressure.

I end up stading on my own.

"Still stubborn as ever."  S says, shaking his head and grinning.

"That's right." I say, shaking my finger at him.

  He laughs.

I realize all the wounds on his face. Covering his body.

His pale stomach was exposed, revealing a skinny frame.

"Sit down." I say, taking out my Fire Flame Potion.

I just pluck it out of existence.

I have this safe, just in the back of my head where I keep items like Fire Flame Potion and a few other things.

But I can't put too much because that would just be a strain on me.

So all I keep there is my potion. And sometimes my silver chain.

  Which it was.

"Why do I need to sit?"  He asks, sitting down on the gurney anyway.

"Because I asked nicely." I smile, putting a drop in my palm.

The drop turns into a red stone. Exactly same size as the drop.

He takes the stone reluctantly, putting it on the front of his tounge.

All his scars and wounds ignite into a soft orange glow, closing as the flames keep burning.

When all his wounds are done healing, the flames shrink to nothing, as if they never ignited.

He snaps his fingers in a sharp click and his suit is all patched up, looking nothing like it did before.

"Not too shabby." I say, trying to get up on the cushion, but fail miserably.

He chuckles, lifting me from under my arms.

"Shut up." I smile, watching his eyes crease in laughter.

"I didn't say anything." He says, looking at the ceiling innocently.  "Jeez. Tall cieling." He says, looking at all the catwalks and steps above our heads.

I nod. "Finally, one thing in the world taller than you."

He leans on me, quickly sitting up straight again.

"What's the matter?  I smell or something?" I laugh, and he ruffles my hair.

I try to do it to him, but he is too tall. "Curse your unnatural tallness." I cross my arms and huff.

He shrugs playfully.  "That just means I can use anybody I want as an armrest."

He demonstrates by putting his forearm on my head.

"Haha.  Very funny." I roll my eyes.

"Sure is." He sighs, putting his chin on his arm, which is on my head.

He looks around. "Where are the others?"

I had a sinking feeling. Ratchet was the only one here.

"I don't know where the others are.  Hang on. I'll call Jack."  I say, fluttering to the console.

"Jack?" He asks, hopping down from the gurney, climbing the ladder next to me.

"Arcee is his guardian.  Miko and Raf should be here, too. Its a Saturday."

I punch in his phone number, and he picks up.

  Ratchet?

"It's me, Moon.  Do you know where the others are?"

  Yeah. Im with them.

  "Where are you?"

By a mountain. Megatron is trying to get a relic called the Star Saber.

"Hang on.  I'm on my way. Just stay hidden. Miko or Raf there with you?"

  No. They are at home.

"Alright. Just stay put. Im on my way."

  Hurry before Smokescreen does something...

I hear Smokescreen shout something, and a whole lot of gunfire.

  Nevermind.

He hangs up, and I face palm.

"You're going out, already?" S asks.

"Jack is in the middle of a warzone. Im not just going to sit and do nothing."

He sighs.  "Fine.  Let me go with you."

I shake my head.  "No armor.  No go."

He groans.  "I can't just leave you!"

I get my chain, putting it over my head, then snapping it in two.

"We'll finish this later, okay?  Promise. Love you."

I open a portal, snatching my dagger out from the floor.

I clean it with just my will, slinging it back to it's spot.

I take a drop of Fire Flame to give me full strength.

"Love you, too." He said as I stormed through.

I ended up directly in the line of fire.
