Spark
Moon
I see Optimus standing on the opposite of the room.
Alpha Trion's back is to me. But I can hear his voice.
But he is speaking to me, not Optimus.
"Half Moon." His voice vibrated through my bones.
He radiated authority. Just like Optimus.
"You have the Spark of a Prime. Your actions today proved that."
"Spark of a Prime?" I ask.
I think a Spark is thier heart. Or soul. Or both. I'll have to ask Ratchet when I get out of here.
"Yes. You have shown leadership and kindness towards your team mates, along with the people in your realm."
"How do you know about that?"
"Your realm and Cybertron have been connected in more ways than you realize. That is why your bones are metalic."
I was part Cybertronian.
"What's going to happen to me?"
"Nothing negative. Mother Moon asked me to give you this. She is too weak to reach you again."
I nod. She looked terrible the last time I saw her.
A small blue orb appeared at my feet.
"Hold it to your chest. Where your heart is. I will handle the rest."
I follow his instructions, and the orb was light and cold, cold like metal.
My hands press the orb into my chest, passing through my skin.
It pulses a blue glow when my heart beats.
It sinks in all the way, and I can still see the glow of it, even if it was muted.
Like putting your finger over a bright flashlight.
I feel my body cool.
I feel stronger.
I feel invincible.
I feel like I can do anything.
I feel like a missing piece of me was finally returned.
Both of them pulse at the same time, my whole body feeling the beating.
"Be who you were destined to be."
I am back at base, the blue glow still coming from my chest.
Everyone is staring at me.
I can see why.
Even the kids are awestruck.
I look at my hands and everything else, and it is normal.
Except my wings.
Mechanical, gears and hinges for joints, solid silver for feathers.
The silver was sharpened at the sides and points, creating blades. Curved like daggers.
Runes carved into every blade.
"How?" Arcee asked.
I lock up.
My chest is throbbing.
Caving in on me, my ribs clawing into my spine.
My arms becoming solid and stiff, my legs following after.
My torso felt like contorting into a knot that would never end, my head becoming heavy with memories and pulsing.
My eyes clamp shut, feeling like they were being scooped out of my skull.
I don't scream about any of it.
I open my eyes as the pain receded, and my fingers were metal.
Just like Arcee's.
My whole forearm looked like hers.
Slender with metal curved around it, creating a deadly point behind my elbow.
Everyone jumped back in suprise.
I couldn't scream. I didn't want to.
I felt... Different.
My whole body felt heavy.
My chest kept pulsing blue.
All the feelings reversed themselves, and my hands and fingers returned to normal.
My body didn't feel heavy anymore.
I could hear the two pulses of my heart and that orb, whatever it was.
Only my wings stayed the same.
But they didn't feel like they were actually wings. They felt like they were just covering my wings.
Like armor.
I just breath in and out, taking in what had just happened.
S tries to walk towards me, but Nightshade blocks him.
My body feels light.
I don't even feel the hair on my neck.
I just feel like I'm floating.
I don't feel any pain.
Nothing.
It feels like bliss.
Heaven.
Then I open my mouth. But it wasn't me who said the words.
But I was okay with it.
Mother Moon said the words.
"I am sorry I have to contact you like this."
S' eyes widen.
Nightshade snaps his neck towards me.
They walk in front of me, S dropping to his knee with his head bowed, Nightshade bowing his head.
"Please, I don't have enough strength to go through customs."
S stands back up, going pale.
He shuffles back to the side awkwardly.
"Half Moon needs to watch over that boy. My sister wants him. She will do everything she can to get her way."
Anti.
"She has the spirit of a mother, and I'm sure you can all see that."
They all blink blankly.
"Protect her. And the boy. She is worth so much more than she realizes."
I feel like I'm sinking.
I drop to the floor, all the weight coming back to me.
I feel the hair on the back of my neck.
I feel my knees and hands on the ground.
I feel everything.
I hear the slam of dress shoes, and I feel S beside me.
My stomach feels like it's burning.
I feel like I'm going to implode.
"It hurts....." I whisper, clutching my stomach.
"What hurts?" S asks, making me look at him using his fingertips.
"Stay away from my son....." I whisper.
I see my face battered and cut all over, blood coming from my neck.
I protect a small figure behind me.
"Don't hurt him..... Please....." I beg, on my knees.
I see a whirl of golden hair, and a sword go straight through my heart.
Anti was the figure I was protecting.
I collapsed to the floor, lifeless.
A tall shadow cascaded over him, and then I was back at base.
"No...... Leave him alone......." I whispered, my eyes clamped shut.
"Leave who alone?" S asked, holding me upright.
"Where is my son?"
I feel eyes all around me.
"Where is Anti?"
S eyes are widened.
"Get the boy." Optimus ordered, talking to S.
He nods, turning into a shadow and leaving.
I feel Arcee's hand on my spine.
She helps me up.
The armor slides off my wings.
I drag my wings behind me.
I don't have the strength to keep them upright.
"Are you okay?" She asked.
I shake my head.
"What happened?"
I shake my head again.
"Do you remember anything?"
I nod.
"Did you see anything?"
I can't tell who's voice is who's.
It just all blends together in one voice, just monotone. No life.
I remember Ant standing there, helpless.
He had to watch me die.
I failed him.
"Anti..... Wh-"
A portal opens, and a little boy runs through, tears running down his cheeks.
He made the portal on his own.
He slams into me, and I wrap my wings around him, my tears dripping into his shirt.
He was the only color in my life at this moment.
Everything else was black and white.
He was that splash of color that kept me going.
S walks through, head hanging in despair.
Anti wails into me louder, clawing into me.
I couldn't hear the words coming from S, but I could read his lips.
Cosmic is dead.
