First Wizarding War (1980-1981):
Venus was born during the First Wizarding War. Both of her parents were members of the Order of the Phoenix.

Her mother and Lily Potter I were best friends, so the first nine months of her life were spent visiting the Potters.

In July 1981, Venus' mother Marlene, along with her Aunt Erica and Grandparents, David and Sarah, were killed by Death Eaters (Including Severus Snape). Venus was in the room for the murder of her mother. After killing Marlene, Severus Snape turned to Venus, who was in her crib, but he heard someone coming and disapparated. Sirius arrived and took Venus, unwillingly leaving Marlene for the rest of the Order to recover.

For the next few months, she lived with her father Sirius, until the night of October 31st (her first birthday), when Sirius left her so that he could go and check up on the Potters. She was asleep and he thought that he would only be gone a few minutes, but it turned into hours. Then Sirius was arrested and taken to Azkaban, after being accused of killing twelve muggles, and Peter Pettigrew.

Early Life (1981-1992):
Venus was now left parentless. Albus Dumbledore was left in charge of finding her a new home. He entrusted her to Molly and Arthur Weasley, who already had seven children, including one son (Bill) who had already started Hogwarts.

From the age of six, Venus and her sister Ginny snuck outside at night and stole their brother's broomsticks to practice Quidditch, as their brothers didn't let them play.

Venus' brothers Bill and Charlie fawned over her. They (and Percy) were the only ones old enough to remember Venus arriving (so they knew she was adopted), but they swore to their parents that they wouldn't tell her until they decided it was the right time.

Two of Venus' older brothers (Bill and Charlie) left Hogwarts before she started. Charlie moved to Romania, and Bill to Egypt. Venus missed both of her brothers a lot, as she could always get them to do what she wanted, as they both had a soft spot for her. Percy (the oldest left in the house) however, did not share this soft spot and liked to berate Venus anytime that she pulled a prank with the twins, which was fairly often.

The Christmas before she started at Hogwarts, she, Ginny and their parents visited Charlie in Romania.

Hogwarts Years (1992-1999):

First Year (1992-93)
Venus and Ginny stuck together on the train, as they were both fairly nervous. They were joined by Hermione Granger, who was unable to find Harry and Ron on the train. On the train, they also met Mali Young, who quickly became their closest friend.

The three girls were all sorted into Gryffindor, but as Mali and Venus thrived at school, Ginny withdrew into herself. They then found out that the chamber of secrets had been opened.

Venus began doing well in most of her classes, but she excelled in Transfiguration.

Towards the end of her first year, Ginny was taken into the chamber by the monster. Harry and Ron rescued her, and Venus was relieved to have her sister back. Ginny explained everything that happened, how she had been under Voldemort's control, and the sisters promised that they wouldn't keep secrets from each other anymore.

In the summer after her first year, Venus overheard her parents talking to Dumbledore. This is how she discovered that she was adopted and that her real parents were Sirius Black and Marlene McKinnon. She immediately told Ginny, and neither of the girls was entirely sure how they should handle the situation.

The Weasleys planned to go and stay at the Leaky Cauldron the night before going to Hogwarts so that they could accompany Harry (who had been involved in an incident with his Aunt, in which he blew her up) to King's Cross to catch the Hogwarts Express. Before they left, Venus was sat in the garden of the burrow, and encountered her biological father for the first time, although she was unaware as he was in his animagus form.

Second Year (1993-94)
On the train to Hogwarts, the Dementors take an interest in Venus. She is unsure why bit assumes it is because of her relation to Black. She also briefly meets Remus Lupin.

Upon returning to Hogwarts, Venus attempts to hide her parentage from Mali, but Mali can tell that something is wrong and confronts Venus about it. Venus tells Mali everything. Venus sees the Black dog (Sirius) again in the grounds.

Venus tries out for the Gryffindor Quidditch team for the position of Chaser. She earns her way onto the team after scoring the most goals in the tryouts.

In Defence Against the Drak Arts, Professor Lupin introduces his second-year class to Boggarts. When it is Venus' turn to confront the boggart, it takes the form of Sirius Black. She casts 'Riddikulus' on the boggart, and it transforms into a large black dog (like the one she had seen at The Burrow). Unknown to her, this spooks Lupin, as he knows exactly who the dog is and that it meant Venus had seen it at Hogwarts. Venus finds out that Lupin knew Sirius and Marlene.

On Venus' birthday (Halloween), Sirius breaks into the castle and the students all have to camp in the Great Hall as the school is searched. Venus overhears Dumbledore talking to Snape and Percy. Snape hints that he believes Venus helping her biological father get into the school. When Venus returned to her dorm, she found a Firebolt waiting on her bed. It came with a note that simply read 'Happy 13th Birthday'. Venus decided to hand it to McGonagall in case it was from Black.

During the first Quidditch match of the year (and Venus' first match on the team), Dementors invade the pitch, both Harry and Venus are affected by the dementors. Harry falls off her broom, and Venus begins to, but luckily Fred is there to catch her. When the dementors arrive, Venus hears her father shouting for her mother when he discovered Marlene dead.

After the events of the match, Venus seeks out Lupin and asks him to tell her more about her birth parents. She asks him to tell her how Marlene died and he does. He tells her how Sirius was the one to discover the McKinnons dead, and Venus realises this is what she must hear when the dementors come near.

McGonagall gives Venus her Firebolt back after the teachers find out there is nothing wrong with the broom. She shows the Gryffindor team all of whom are in awe of the broom.

Ron, Harry and Hermione confront Venus about Black after they overhear Flitwick, McGonagall, Hagrid, Fudge and Madam Rosmerta talking about Black's relationship to both Venus and Harry's parents. They demand to know if Venus knew Black was her birth father, she tells them she did.

In early March, the Gryffindor faces Ravenclaw in a Quidditch match. Harry and Venus are both riding Firebolts and the team win the match easily despite the fact that the Slytherins dress up as dementors in an attempt to put Harry off. There is a party in the common room that evening to celebrate the victory.

After the party, Venus stays in the common room to finish off an essay due in the next morning. Sirius Black breaks into the common room and casts 'petrificus totalus' on Venus so that she cannot alert anyone that he is there. Sirius moves up to the dorms to try and kill Peter Pettigrew, but Ron wakes up and screams causing Sirius to have to flee. 

In the wake of this break-in, security of the castle is massively increased. Venus sneaks out of the castle after Wood pushes them hard in Quidditch practise the night before the Quidditch final. Venus encounters Sirius(in dog form) down by the lake once again.

Gryffindor competes against Slytherin for the Quidditch cup, and they win.

The Second years sit their first set of Hogwarts exams at the end of the year. After their exams finish, Venus ventures into the grounds hoping to see the black dog, instead she bumps into Harry, Ron and Hermione under the invisibility cloak. Ron's rat escapes and Ron chases it, making Hermione and Harry chase after Ron. Venus chases after them.

When Venus catches up, she sees that Ron has caught Scabbers and that the big black dog is growling at Ron. Venus plants herself between Ron and the dog. The dog barrelled past her, and dragged Ron into the Whomping Willow.

Harry, Hermione and Venus follow them through the passageway and into the Shrieking Shack.  They find Ron and discover the fact that the big black dog is in fact, Sirius Black. They are joined in the Shrieking Shack by both Lupin and Snape. Snape is stunned on entry and Lupin and Sirius proceed to tell the story of how Peter Pettigrew is alive.

They make Peter reveal himself, and decide to take him back up to the castle where the dementors will deal with him. On their way back up to the castle, the full moon emerges and Lupin turned into a werewolf. Sirius tells them to run, but Venus isn't fast enough and is attacked and bitten by Lupin.

She woke up in St Mungo's and was told that she was bitten.

Venus spent the summer struggling to adjust to her new status as a Werewolf, her first transformation occurred a few weeks later. 

She attended the quidditch world cup with her family. During the Death Eater's march in the campsite, she ran away from her family after a confrontation with the twins as she hated how they are looking at her since she became a werewolf. She was found in the woods by Bill, who bought her back to the others, who were relieved to see her back safe. 

Her second transformation occurred the night before their return to Hogwarts. 

Third Year (1994-95)
Mali, Ginny and Venus shared a compartment with Harry, Ron, Hermione, Seamus Finnigan, Dean Thomas and Neville Longbottom on the way back to school. Venus fell asleep on Neville's shoulder and he shifted her onto his lap so she would be more comfortable. 

Dumbledore's announcement of the Triwizard tournament was given at the welcome feast. Venus knew that she would not be able to see the selection of the champions as it falls on October 31st which is a full moon (and her birthday).

Venus took up Ancient Runes and Care of Magical Creatures at the suggestions of her brothers Bill and Charlie.  She, Ginny and Mali all took Care of Magical Creatures.

'Professor Moody' (aka Barty Crouch Jr) took the third-year class through a demo of the unforgivable curses in the first lesson of the year.

Venus began to struggle more and more with Herbology, and Neville Longbottom offered to tutor her. She promised to repay him for his help in some way.

Her first transformation of the year was endured alone in the Shrieking Shack. Neville asked Ginny and Mali where she was and began to suspect that there was something wrong. Venus received a gash on her arm and the next morning went to the hospital wing to get it treated. Neville found her there as he was worried when Ginny said she was feeling unwell.

Mali, Ginny and Venus went to Hogsmeade together and Mali finally discovered that the Shrieking Shack was not actually haunted. The same day, she received a letter from Sirius telling her that he was back in the country and asking if she wanted company on the next full moon. She denied his request.

Venus attended the welcome feast for Beaubatons and Durmstrang on the 30th October, however, she was unable to attend the drawing of the names as it was the full moon. Despite her turning him down, Sirius showed up anyway to accompany her for the full moon. 

Venus discovered that Harry had been chosen as the third champion from Harry and Hermione as she made her way back to the castle from the Whomping Willow. She persuaded Harry to tell Sirius.

She continued to grow closer to Neville, who began to grow more suspicious about Venus' condition. 

Along with the rest of the school, Venus watched the first task on November 24th. She claimed that she was rooting for the dragons.

Venus' next transformation was proceeded by severe sickness. She asked Sirius to meet her in the Shrieking Shak slightly earlier than needed so that she could ask him if it was normal to feel this unwell before a transformation. Sirius assured her that it would not happen every time. 

Venus heard of the Yule Ball, and she, Ginny and Mali were all disappointed that they would not be able to attend as it was open to forth years and above. A week before the ball Neville asked her to go to the ball with him. She agreed. Ginny was asked by Dean Thomas to the ball and Mali had to return home for the holidays. She attended the Yule Ball with Neville, who made up for her bad dancing with his excellce in the field. Althought the highlight of the evening for Venus was seeing Ron dressed as their Great Aunt Muriel.

She attended the second task of the Triwizard tournament, but was very unwell. Mali and Ginny ended up carrying her back up to the castle after she fell asleep during the task.

Along with Harry, Ron and Hermione, Venus visited Sirius in the cave in Hogsmeade. Whilst he told the others the story of Barty Crouch Venus cut Sirius' hair as it's length had begun to annoy him. After realising what his living conditions were, Venus promised to bring him food on every full moon.

Venus wittnessed the third task and saw Harry return with Cedric's body, however she again is suffereing from illness due to her being a werewolf. After the task she is taken to the hospital wing where they await Harry's arrival and Madam Pomfrey treats Venus. She wittnessed the argument between Fudge and Dumbledore and Dumbledore's decision to reform the Order.

She spent the summer at Number 12 Grimmauld Place with Sirius and her family. Venus discovered that she was named after her grandmother. She spent the full moon with Remus and Sirius in the basement of the house. Sirius and Remus told her that is would be important for her own protection that no one suspect that she were a werewolf. Both Ginny and Venus began to become annoyed at the limited communication that they were allowed to have with Mali.

They found out that Harry had been expelled and greeted him when he arrived. Ginny and Venus were banished by their mother from finding out the answers to Harry's questions to the order. They were not happy about it, but Hermione filled them in on what they missed. 

Harry's expulsion was revoked and they all prepared to return to school. Sirius shared a picture of the original order that Mad Eye had given him with Harry and Venus. In the image Marlene was pregnant with Venus, who was born the next day. Sirius also gave Venus a silver necklace with a heart charm, which had been given to Marlene by her mother Sara when she turned 17. 

Fourth Year (1995-96)
Sirius accompanied the group to King's Cross despite Molly's protests. Venus, Ginny and Mali were joined by Luna Lovegood, Harry and Neville on the Hogwarts Express. Neville showed off his new Mimbulus Mimbletonia. The group changed into their robes, and Neville was suspicious when Venus did not as it was a full moon meaning she would be missing the start of term feast.

Venus discovered that Angelina had been made Quidditch Captain and was ordered to attend the try-outs.

In her first lesson with Umbridge Venus' wand kept shooting sparks without her meaning it too. It made her bag burst into flames and Venus received her first detention from Umbridge for that night. She argued and received another detention because of this. Umbridge made Venus write 'I must not disobey' with the black quill. She lied about the injury to Ginny and Mali saying that it was from her transformation the previous night.

At the Quidditch tryouts Ron got the position of Keeper. 

Venus' wand continued to act up, so she researched it ad discovered that Thuderbird cores would react if their owner was in danger. She asked McGonagall about it and she confirmed that Umbridge could indeed be a danger to Venus if she discovered that she knew where Sirius was or that she was a werewolf. 

She spoke to Sirius in the fireplace with Harry, Ron and Hermione. They discussed Umbridge and Sirius too warned Venus to be careful around the woman. 

Umbridge was then appointed High Inquisitor. She inspected Venus' History of Magic lesson and Venus' wand earnt her another detention for that night, which Venus was unable to attend as it was the full moon. She went to ask McGonagall for help and McGonagall agreed to tell Umbridge that Venus was serving a detention with her so she could not attend the detention that night.

At her detention Umbridge tried to give Venus veriteserum, but due to her taking wolfsbane it was ineffective, allowing Sirius' location to remain a secret.

On the first Hogsmeade visit, Venus attended the first DA meeting in the Hogshead. On the way she agreed to help Neville with his transfiguration OWL to repay him for helping her with Herbology. Venus again almost slipped up and revealed that she is a werewolf to Neville when complaining about Umbridge to him. Venus signed up to join the DA and spent the rest of the Hogsmeade trip with Neville.

The next Educational decree was issued banning all extra curriculars. Angelina warned both Venus and Harry to be careful around Umbridge so that they could continue to play Quidditch. 

Sirius appeared in the fire again to encourage them to continue with the DA, but Umbridge's hand appeared in the fire and almost caught him. 

The DA became a success and they practiced in the Room of Requirement. Due to the upcoming Quidditch season Hermione gave out fake galleons so that they could communicate effectively. The Slytherin Keeper ended up breaking Venus' nose in the lead up to the match. At the same time Mali voice hers and Ginny's suspicions that Neville and Ginny were dating. Venus told Mali that they were not and that they were just very close friends.

The Quidditch match was  won by Gryffindor, but as a result of Malfoy provoking them, George and Harry beat him up and are subsequently banned from Quidditch along wit h Fred and Venus. 

Venus and Ginny returned the Grimmauld place with their family after Arthur was attacked. She visited her father in St. Mungos, there she met Ethan Edgar who had been recently bitten by a werewolf. She persuaded him that he would be able to live with the condition. Along with the others she overheard the suspicions of Mad Eyed Moody that Harry was being possessed. Ginny persuaded him that he was not being possessed. 

The group enjoyed Christmas at Grimmuald Place. Sirius gave Venus the baby blanket that Marlene had knitted for her before she was born. Later that day the group once again visited Arthur. Venus bumped into Neville and his grandmother, who told Venus about Neville's parents. Venus decided that she wanted to tell Neville about her being a werewolf. She told him everything, but before they could talk much about it Neville had to leave. 

On the Hogwarts Express Venus began to doubt her trust in Neville as she had heard nothing from him since she divulged her secret. Neville found her alone in an empty compartment and assured her that he would not tell anyone. He also assured her that he didn't think any different of her.

Venus invited Neville to join her on the next Hogsmeade visit on Valentine's Day as Ginny was going with her Boyfriend Michael Corner and Mali with Terry Boot. Neville asked if it was adte and she said if he wanted it to be one it could be. On the date Venus told Neville about Sirius' innocence. 

The DA began to work on their patronuses and Venus was able to conjure her own when thinking about Neville. Her Patronus took on a wolf-like form, which Venus identified as a werewolf. That same night, Umbridge ambushed the DA. Venus and Neville ran together and hid in a broom cupboard. In that cupboard they shared their first kiss and then their second after Venus headbutted Neville on the first attempt.

With Hogwarts under the control of Umbridge after forcing Dumbledore out, both McGonagall and Hagrid had to leave the castle. Venus and Neville had begun dating. Ginny broke up with Michael Corner after Gryffindor beat Ravenclaw out for the Quidditch cup. 

Venus accompanied Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Neville, Luna and Mali to the Department of Mysteries. When the fighting broke out Venus was found by Bellatrix who subjected her to the cruciatus curse several times until Sirius found her and fought Bellatrix off. Sirius took her to the death room and there he continued to fight. Venus came to her senses long enough to knock Bellatrix over before she could hit Sirius with a spell, saving his life. Bellatrix once again used the cruciatus curse on Venus, which pushed Venus' mental state over the edge.

Venus woke up a week later  hospital wing feeling very fuzzy. Neville was incredibly worried about her and recognised the dazed and confused expression on her face from the faces of his parents every time that he saw them. 

Fifth Year (1996-97)
On the Hogwarts express Venus, along with Neville, Harry and Ginny, was invited to Slughorn's compartment, where he questioned her about her father, the werewolf attack and the department of mysteries.

After Harry's appointment as Quidditch captain, Venus tried out and earnt her position as chaser again. She was initially wary about flying again, as she had not done so since the Department of Mysteries, however it was all okay. Ginny joined her on the team.

Venus and Ginny went to the first Slug Club meeting, which bored them both.

In her careers advice meeting, McGonagall suggested that Venus consider teaching as a career. She suggests that perhaps one day she could be the transfiguration professor. 

Both Venus and Ginny were happy when Harry began scheduling Quidditch practice to clash with the Slug Club meetings. Katie Bell was cursed and Dean Thomas filled her spot on the team. In his first practice, Ron punched Venus in the face, breaking her nose and triggering a flashback which led to her spending a few nights in the hospital wing.

After Ron had a go at Ginny after he found her making out with Dean, Venus began making a point of kissing Neville anytime that Ron was near, which just annoyed Ron even more. 

The first Quidditch match was commentated by Mali, who made some especially colourful commentary. The Gryffindor team won due to an excellent performance by Ron. That night Ron began dating Lavender Brown.

Venus was invited to Slughorn's Christmas party, to which she took Neville as her date. 

On returning home for Christmas Venus discovered that Sirius had bought himself a flat in London. When Percy visited with the minister, Venus, Ginny, Fred and George pelted Percy with food until he left.

Back at Hogwarts, Venus and Ginny noticed that Mali was acting strange. They eventually discovered that this was because her mother was very ill with cancer.

Ron was poisoned on his birthday, and Venus, Ginny, Harry and Hermione spent the day at his bedside. Because of Ron being out of action, Cormac McClaggen played Keeper and ended up knocking Harry out with a bludger, which triggered another episode in Venus. This episode was far worse than ones she had experienced before, and Neville put her to bed in his bed. Madam Pomfrey suspected that the severity of the episode was because of the proximity of the full moon. Sirius came to be with her over the full moon and she returned to her normal self after her transformation. 

Ginny and Dean broke up, along with Ron and Lavender. With both the Quidditch final and OWLs approaching, Venus found herself very busy. 

After Harry attacked Malfoy and was banned from playing the Quidditch team went into the final not expecting a win, however they pulled one out of the bag and won. At the subsequent after party, Harry and Ginny began dating. 

At the end of June, Venus fought at the Battle of the Astronomy tower. Venus fought Fenrir Greyback, until he and the other Death Eaters retreated. Bill was mauled by the werewolf, and Venus heard of Dumbledore's death when Harry announced it to the gathered DA and Order Members in the hospital wing. 

Venus attended Dumbeldore's funeral along with the rest of Hogwarts.

Upon leaving Hogwarts, Mali warned her friends that she may not be in attendance at Hogwarts next year as she believed that it may not be safe for her to return the next year. 

Neither Venus or Ginny were allowed to take part in the rescue of Harry from Privet Drive due to them being underaged.  

The whole Weasley family was put to work preparing for Bill and Fleur's wedding, for which Ginny and Venus were bridesmaids. Mali sent Venus and Ginny a letter, telling them that her mother had died and that Mali would not be returning to Hogwarts the next year.

When the death eaters attacked the wedding, Venus immedatly ordered Neville to leave as she didn't want him getting hurt. Unwillingly, he left her there. The whole Weasley family were questioned, and Death Eaters remained on the property. As Venus' being a werewolf was still a secret, she was forced to transform in the attic of the Burrow.

She received her OWL grades, achieving an O in Transfiguration, Es in Astronomy, Charms, Defence Against the Dark Arts and Potions, As in History of Magic and Ancient Runes and a P in Care of Magical Creatures.

Sixth Year (1997-98)
Upon their return to Hogwarts Venus was warned by all three of her parents not to fight back against the Death Eaters within Hogwarts. On the train, Ginny, Neville, Luna and Venus discussed what had happened over the summer. Ginny used Voldemort's name and the train was stopped by Death Eaters. Venus realised that the Death Eaters must have placed a watch on the use of Voldemort's name.

The group immediately noticed that Hogwarts had a darker atmosphere to it and that the student body size was significantly decreased due to the absence of Muggleborns. They decided on the first night back at school to reinstate Dumbeldore's army. 

Venus decided to take NEWTs in Transfiguration, Potions, Charms, Defence Against the Dark Arts and Herbology. Due to it being mandatory she also took Muggle Studies.

In her first Muggle Studies lesson, Venus quickly butted heads with Alecto Carrow who was teaching the class about the Sacred 28 wizarding families and said that the Black family had died out. Alecto punished Venus' outburst by casting Crucio on her in front of the whole class. This caused her to flashback to the torture she received from Bellatrix. Ginny took her to the hospital wing, and within a few hours Venus was back to herself. However, Venus was kept in the hospital wing until the full moon two days later. She spent her spare time transfiguring random objects into birds, which occupied most of the castle and drove the Carrows and Filtch mad. Venus transformed in McGonagall's office as the Order believed this would be easier to conceal. Venus realised that she did not have enough wolfsbane to last her the entire year. 

Ginny, Venus, Neville and Luna decided to graffiti the Great Hall with anti-Carrow/Snape propaganda. Buzz started around the school about the group. Ginny suggested that they steal Gryffindor's sword from Snape's office to give it to Harry, as they suspected that he must need it for whatever his mission was. They were caught by Snape and punished by having to help Hagrid in the Forbidden Forest.

The DA began to grow and they caused rampant destruction around the castle. In Defence Against the Dark Arts the students were instructed to practice unforgiveable curses on the first and second years. Venus, Ginny and Luna stormed out of the class, taking the first and second years with them. 

Venus realised that she only had one dose of wolfsbane left. When discussing this with her friends, Alecto overheard her saying that she would be spending the full moon in Sprout's office. This lead to Alecto discovering the fact that Venus was a werewolf. The next morning, the Carrows returned and Venus slipped past them. She ran to the Great Hall, where she herself revealed her secret before the Carrows could do so. They stunned her, and tortured her in the muggle way. 

With her secret revealed, Venus asked Slughorn to brew her some more wolfsbane, which he agreed to do. The Carrows began using Venus' lycanthropy as a threat to those who misbehaved. They eventually followed through on this threat with Neville, who was locked in a room with her on the full moon. The Carrows attempted to use the imperious curse on Venus to make her attack Neville, but as the unforgivable curses are inefficient on animals, it did not work. The Carrows warned Venus that next time they would take her wolfsbane away.

Venus signed up to go home for Christmas, but Snape caught her trying to leave on the carriages and stopped her. She spent Christmas hiding from the Carrows and on the full moon she attacked Alecto. Venus had to hide in the Forbidden Forest, but reunited with her friends when they returned. 

Venus decided that she head to leave Hogwarts. She sent a message to her parents and elected to make a break for it through the forbidden forest. It took her three weeks to get out of the Hogwarts boundaries through the forest. She then summoned her broomstick and flew in the direction of London, following the Hogwarts Express train tracks. She stopped over in a village and knocked on a random house, which by sheer luck turned out to be where Mali and her father were staying. Venus stayed there overnight, but hurried off the next day to try and get home before the full moon which was that day so that she could take some wolfsbane at home before she transformed. 

She went to Weasley Wizard Wheezes as it was the only place in London that she knew people at. Fred was there and took her to the Burrow, where everyone was happy to see her alive. Venus asked Molly for some wolfsbane, but Molly told her that she had given the last of it to Remus. Therefore Venus was forced to undergo her first transformation without the potion.

They all decided that the safest place for Venus to go was Shell Cottage as the Death Eaters had been looking for her, wanting to punish her for attacking Alecto Carrow. She moved to the cottage the next day. 

The news that Sirius had been captured reached them a week later.

Venus remained at Shell Cottage until Harry, Ron and Hermione showed up, with Sirius, Dean, Luna, Ollivander and Griphook in tow. She spent her time with Luna and Dean in the garden watching Luna use her new wand. Venus found herself worrying about Neville, who (with Ginny gone) was all alone as leader of the DA. 

Remus Lupin informed the inhabitants of Shell Cottage that Tonks' baby had been born and he asked Venus and Harry to be godparents. They both agreed and Venus became godmother to Teddy Lupin. 

Harry, Ron and Hermione left to break into Gringots with  Griphook, which annoyed Sirius as he complained that they knew he would have loved to break into the bank. 

The DA coins which Luna and Venus both kept with them at all times burnt hot with a message from Neville telling them to go to Hogwarts. Venus, Dean and Luna snuck out of the house and Dean appearted them to the Hogshead, where they went through the passage to the room of requirement. They were the first to arrive other than Harry, Ron and Hermione. Sirius arrived later and chided her heavily for running off without telling him. Mali arrived and Ginny and Venus reunited with her. 

Sirius then tried to get Venus to stay back from the fight, but Venus shouted him down by telling him that she's seventeen and he couldn't stop her from staying. Percy turned up at the room of requirement and reconciled with his family. 

Venus was placed in the grounds in a group of fighters led by Remus and Arthur. Venus went to her post. Venus fought very hard in the beginning of the battle. She transformed Antonin Dolohov into a large pig. 

The Homorphus charm was cast upon Venus by Amycus Carrow which forced her to transform into a werewolf. She attacked Amycus, but was sure not to bite him. Lupin stopped her from attacking him anymore and realised what must've happened. She decided to hunt down Greyback and found him attacking Lavender Brown. Venus killed Greyback and saved Lavender Brown's life. 

Venus stayed in her wolf-form, but was relieved to find out that all of her family was okay. She and the other survivors discovered that Harry was dead when Voldemort announced it to the school. Sirius and Remus were forced to hold her back when Neville went up against Voldemort to prevent her from running after him. 

Venus' enhanced hearing meant that she was the first to hear the oncoming crowd of Hogsmeade residents and family members of the fighters. At the same moment, the sun began to come up and she began to transform back. Venus sprinted into the Great Hall and used an of cut of tablecloth as clothes. She then witnessed Harry defeating Voldemort.

In the wake of Voldemort's defeat, Venus discovered that Sirius was in a relationship with Ophelia Fawley.

Seventh Year (1998-1999)
Venus elected to return to Hogwarts and complete her studies. In her final year she started working on her book 'A Werewolf's Tale'

Post Hogwarts(1999-Present):
She was a bridesmaid, along with Ginny and Mali, at Sirius and Ophelia Fawley's wedding in early 2000. Unbeknownst to Venus and Ginny, Mali began dating their brother George. Towards the end of 2000, Venus' first book 'A Werewolf's Tale' was published. Venus was a bridesmaid at Hermione and Ron's wedding. During the planning for Ginny's wedding, Mali revealed that she was dating George. Venus was Ginny's maid of honour.

Venus and Neville received a letter from McGonagall inviting them to interview for jobs as Hogwarts Professors. Neville revealed that he wasn't happy as an auror and they decided to go for the interviews. Both of them received the jobs.

When attending the Battle of Hogwarts memorial in 2002, Mali revealed that George had proposed to her. Venus also told them that Sirius and Ophelia were having a baby, as were Tonks and Remus. 

Alphard 'Alfie' Black was born in September 2002 and Hope Lupin was born in April 2003. In the same year, George and Mali got married, with Venus and Ginny as bridesmaids. Ginny was pregnant with her first child at the wedding. Venus was very unwell at the wedding, which she thought was because of the upcoming full moon, however it was really because she was pregnant. Neville had to take her to St.Mungos as she wouldn't wake up after her transformation, and the healers told her that she was pregnant, which came as a surprise to both Neville and Venus. 

James Sirius Potter was born in September 2003, and three months later Venus had her first child, Halley Alice Longbottom. Venus quickly claimed the role of 'the cool parent'. Which she did fulfil. 

A gossip Colum by Rita Skeeter is published claiming that Venus is unbalanced. Venus, Ginny and Mali laughed at this and wondered if they were the most interesting thing in the wizarding world.

Venus became pregnant again, she and Neville discussed the fact that they were not married and Neville formally proposed to her. 

In September 2007, Venus gave birth to Nysa and Nova Longbottom. In 2008 Selene was born, Venus met her and became her godmother. 

Venus attended the 10 year memorial for the Battle of Hogwarts with Neville. Sirius got very drunk and Venus left Neville alone to deal with him. Eventually they all decided to leave Sirius passed out on the grass to teach him a lesson.

Venus' godson Teddy Lupin started Hogwarts in September 2009. Venus struggled to believe that he was already Hogwarts age. 

In 2014 Venus attended the Quidditch world cup with many other members of Dumbledore's Army. Mali began to voice her suspicions that Halley and James would end up together. Rita Skeeter's article about the reunion described Neville as a 'washed up alcoholic', as he had been drinking at the Quidditch World Cup. Venus proceeded to use this as ammunition against him for years to come. Venus had a section of Rita Skeeter's book about her, which presented a convoluted description of Venus' life, Venus, Mali and Ginny once again laughed at the inaccuracies in the book.

Alfie Black and Hope Lupin started Hogwarts that year and were sorted into Gryffindor and Slytherin respectively. Venus and Neville discovered the betting system that existed between Sirius and Lupin over which house the children would end up in and immediately wanted in. Hope and Alfie caused trouble at Hogwarts (as expected) and Venus gave them several detentions. 

In 2015, Halley and James started Hogwarts. Venus was exceedingly dramatic in her goodbye to Halley at Kings Cross, even though she would see her at the welcome feast. Halley and James were both placed in Gryffindor. Halley and James caused utter havoc in their first weeks at Hogwarts and Venus gave them many detentions.

In September 2017, Venus discovered the fact that Halley was dating Adam Wood after Alfie witnessed them together on Platform 9 3/4. Halley later confided it in her mother when Venus asked her about it. Venus also discovered that James and Halley were not on speaking terms because of their relationship.

Venus attended the 20 Year Anniversary Ball of the Battle of Hogwarts. She and Neville were seated at the head table as some of the leaders of the DA. Venus and Neville went for a walk and discovered Hope and Alfie in a hedge kissing, however they decided not to tell Sirius, Remus, Tonks and Ophelia. Venus and Neville made a promise to one another that they would get married in the next ten years.

Venus witnessed Halley and Adam breaking up in the Great Hall and heard that it was because he cheated on her. Venus was proud of her daughter for standing up for herself.

Everyone else discovered that Hope and Alfie were dating, and Sirius pretended to be annoyed at Venus for not telling him.

Nysa and Nova started school in September 2018 along with Lily Potter II and Selene Weasley. Nova was placed in Hufflepuff, Nysa in Gryffindor, Lily in Gryffindor and Selene in Hufflepuff. This meant that Neville won forty Galleons from Sirius. 

That year utter mayhem ensued due to a prank war being set up between Hope and Alfie, Halley and James and Nysa and Lily. Many other students also got involved and it left all of the Professors, including Venus, pulling straws over who would be on detention duty.

Venus and Neville decided that they wanted to get married that Christmas, they told everyone this and that they had two weeks to plan it. Fleur took Venus dress shopping, which Venus was not enthusiastic about, but they were able to find a dress.

The preparations for the wedding- spearheaded by Molly- had exhausted everyone. Venus Black-Weasley married Neville Longbottom at The Burrow in early January 2020. Venus was given away by both her biological father (Sirius Black) and her adopted father (Arthur Weasley). 

Venus returned to Hogwarts as Professor Longbottom, which greatly confused all of the students to have two professors with the same name. 

In 2022, Venus attended the graduation of her eldest daughter Halley, she was very dramatic about the fact that Halley had grown up.

In 2024, Halley became a fully trained healer. Venus had a particularly bad full moon and ended up being treated by Halley. 

A year later, when being treated again, Halley used a new cream which she had created on both Venus and Remus' injuries. Halley told her mother that she had been looking for a cure for Lucanthrophy and Venus agreed to allow her daughter to test her new cream on her. The cream worked and the wounds left no scars. Venus began to become annoyed that Halley had hidden this from her, but Halley explained that she had kept it from her mother because she didn't know if she would be able to do it. Venus then gave Halley the necklace that had once belonged to Marlene McKinnon, hoping that it would bring Halley luck.

In 2026, Venus attended the graduation of Nova and Nysa. Again she was very dramatic. She then attended the wedding of Teddy Lupin and Victorie Weasley.

Around a month later, Nova confessed to her parents that she was gay and was dating Selene Weasley (Mali's daughter). Both Venus and Neville assured Nova that they loved her no matter what and that they were very happy for her and Selene.

In 2027, Nysa began dating a muggled named Fiona. Venus met her and liked her immediately.

After Halley used her healing cream on Mali and was suspended, Venus was a witness at Halley's hearing. Halley was cleared of all charges and let off with a warning. 

Halley and James revealed that they were in a relationship. Venus was overjoyed. Halley also told her that she had created a potion that would mean Venus wouldn't have to transform again.

Venus went on to take over as Headmistress of Hogwarts after McGonagall retired.

Personality and Traits:
Venus has a bubbly personality. She is feisty due to growing up with so many brothers, but she also has a quieter side which comes out initially when she is around Neville, but eventually becomes more prominent. She is not afraid to stand up for herself and is proud of what makes her different.
In many ways she is very much like her biological mother, Marlene McKinnon.

Abilities and Skills:
Transfiguration: Venus is extremely good at Transfiguration, so much so that she goes on to teach it at Hogwarts.
As Venus is a werewolf, once a month she is forced to turn into a wolf (unless aided by the correct dosage of preventionus and wolfsbane). In her werewolf form, she has the ability to turn others into werewolves if she bites them, however, she has never bitten anyone. In both of her forms, any injuries that she causes (ie bites, scratches) will leave a lasting scar that must be sealed with silver. Venus can also transform under the influence of the Homorphus Charm, which she was subjected to during the Battle of Hogwarts. 

Patronus:
Venus is able to summon a Corporeal Patronus, which takes the form of a wolf/werewolf.

Named Venus after Sirius' grandmother. The planet is often associated with love and beauty.

"See it as bonding with your father in law," Venus looked over her shoulder at him.

'"Right," Venus released Halley, "go if you must, but do not forget your poor old mother when you're off at school."

'"What's up with Neville?" Ginny asked, poking his arm.

"Exactly, that's why I'm hiding, everyone is driving me crazy," Venus closed the door behind her. "Ophelia keeps trying to do my hair, Mali won't stop jabbering and mum keeps crying. Don't even get me started on dad!"
"What's Sirius been doing?" Harry frowned.
"Neville said that dad keeps threatening him." Venus snorted.
"Well, it's your wedding day," Harry shrugged, "Sirius threatened Ginny on our wedding day."
"He did?"
"Oh yeah, Gin said that Sirius said he would run her over." 
"That's not very friendly," said Venus, "and to think, I didn't threaten Ophelia at all before they got married."
"Me either," mused Harry, "oh well, we've got time to change that."

After twenty-four years together, they still looked at each other as if they were teenagers in school.
The exact details of their parent's roles in the Second Wizarding War had been kept from the Longbottom children. But Halley had pieced together what she could from history books. 'Halley hurried over to Venus and lifted up the bandaged on her arm. The wound here was gone too, leaving smooth skin.
"Merlin, it worked. I can't believe it actually worked," Halley muttered.
"Thank Merlin," Venus pulled off the bandages, "now that's healed, I can pummel you."
"What for?" Halley frowned.
"For not telling me about this!"
"Oh, that," Halley began to back out of the room, laughing heartily, "well, I'm really busy right now, I guess I have to-"
"I spoke to Ethan, you have the rest of the day off. You're coming home with me so that we can talk about this properly."
"Mum I-"
"Let's talk about this at home," Venus said stubbornly. She jumped out of bed and grabbed Halley's arm. She began dragging her out of the room. Halley glanced around and saw her mother get to her feet, smiling at Halley reassuringly.
"Mrs Longbottom, were you aware at the time that you first used the potion that it was unratified by the ministry?"
"No I was not, but I trust my daughter implicitly, and I know that she would never do anything with the intention of hurting someone else. She has spent most of her adult life working on something to help make my life, along with the lives of werewolves everywhere better-I don't believe that she should be punished for this."
