Early Life:
Ariadne was born in Tartarus to the primordial goddess Nyx and the son of Athena Caius Chester I who fell into Tartarus whilst on the quest for the Mark of Athena.

Ariadne spent her childhood trying to avoid her mother and her monster siblings. She always dreamt about what the world war like outside of Tartarus.

In an attempt to solidify the relationship between Nyx and Olympus (and prevent her from taking the Titan's side in the war), a marriage between Aridane and Apollo.

Later Life:
Ariadne's first trip out of Tartarus is when she is about to marry Apollo. They get married. At first, it is awkward for both of them, but within a few months, they have begun to fall in love.

Ariadne goes to Camp Halfblood, however, she keeps her identity as a daughter of Nyx a secret for fear that they might judge her based on her parentage. She also neglects to tell them that she is married to Apollo. She tells everyone that she is a daughter of Athena.

Annabeth needs someone to act as a spy on the Princess Andromeda. Ariadne volunteers.
She spends a few months there, until the plan to blow it up happens, she is blasted away from the ship and washes up on a beach.

She calls for Apollo, who arrives and heals her. Aridane begins to wonder more about her feelings for Apollo.

She takes part in the battle of Manhattan, she uses her powers to form a shield around the city to slow the enemy down.

As Kronos approaches the elevator in the Empire State Building, he comes face to face with Aridane. She is stabbed with his Sythe, which should have killed her.

Apollo finds out and rushes to her side. He heals her as best he can, but Ariadne realises that she can't feel her legs. The two realise their true feelings for each other. She is offered immortality and takes it.

After Percy disappeared, Ariadne goes with Annabeth to find Jason, Piper and Leo. They return to Camp, and the group goes off on their quest. She visits Olympus for a few days when she returns to Camp she is pulled into the preparations of the Argo II. A few months before they leave camp, she falls pregnant but doesn't get realise it.

Ariadne goes on the quest with the Seven of the prophecy, as she is also mentioned in the prophecy.

When they arrive in Rome, Ariadne stays on the Argo. Whilst she is there, her mother shows up, she says that they will see each other soon.

When Percy and Annabeth fall into Tartarus, she realises what both her mother and the prophecy meant. She calls on her mother, who agrees to take her back to Tartarus, as long as Ariadne promises to stay after her friends are gone.

Aridane helps Percy and Annabeth through the Mansion of Night. After this, Nyx tells her that she is pregnant. This gives Ariadne incentive to escape. She makes it to the Doors of Death just as they are closing (with Percy and Annabeth inside).

The moment that the doors reopen in the House of Hades she shadow travels away to Delos. She stays on Delos, with Apollo, until the Argo arrived. Much to Apollo's dislike, she rejoins the crew of the Argo.

After the battle, Zeus sends Apollo away to await punishment. He doesn't allow Ariadne to return to Camp Halfblood with the rest of the Demigods. He sends her to Olympus, where she tried to slice Zeus's throne into little pieces. Artemis sends her to stay with Leto (her mother) until Zeus makes up his mind about what to do with Apollo.

When Ariadne is around seven months pregnant, she decides to break out of Leto's house. She goes to stay with the Jacksons.

A month later, Apollo shows up at the Jackson's.
Ariadne returns to camp with them. She and Apollo argue, and Apollo thinks that it's because she's angry at him. Will Solace locks them in the Apollo cabin together so that they can talk it out. Ariadne confesses that the real reason is that she feels guilty, as she thinks Apollo's newfound mortality is her fault as she broke a vow on the river Styx, and this is the consequence.

Ariadne asks Chiron about her father, he tells her that he was called Caius. Ariadne decides to name her son after him.

When Apollo's children, Austin and Kayla, go missing, Ariadne is able to convince Chiron to let her go into the woods and look for them. She is taken captive by Emperor Nero, but Apollo is able to rescue her along with the other Demigods who went missing.

They return to Camp, and Apollo defeats the giant Colossus with a disease arrow. Leo returns to Camp and days later, he, Apollo and Calypso leave on a quest.

Ariadne goes into labour, she gives birth to Caius, who becomes the God of life, mortality and immortality.

The two of them head to Olympus, where Caius takes his place on the Olympic Council, he demands that his mother sit in for Apollo, which the gods agree to, but only because Cai scares them.

Caius goes off on a quest with Will and Nico to save the tree of life from Nyx, leaving Ariadne with nothing to do. Artemis takes her hunting, and Ariadne is killed by Nyx, as Nyx is showing Caius that Ariadne has served her purpose.

Caius visits Ariadne in the Underworld and she tells him to kill Nyx for her. Apollo tries to visit her after he regains his immortality, but she had asked Hades not to let him as she wanted him to move on and knew that if he saw her he wouldn't be able to.

Whilst Ariadne is dead, Caius and Apollo venture to Tartarus, where they defeat Nyx and kill her. The Olympic council is forced to a decision about who would be the next goddess of night. Ariadne is suggested.

She is bought back to life and accepts the mantle of the goddess of night.

Physical Appearance:

Personality and Traits:
Ariadne possesses a largely sarcastic personality. She hates being forced to sit out of the action and is incredibly stubborn.
Her biggest fear is becoming power hungry and uncaring like her mother, she attempts to turn down the position of Goddess of Night because of this.

As a demigod, Ariadne had the ability to contort shadows to her will. She used this to great effect to create a barrier around Manhattan, buying the demigods precious time in this battle.
She is very accomplished with her sword.
