Estelle is 4 and this is set a few months after Triton meets her for the first time

Triton's P.O.V

I weaved through the New York foot traffic. Gods I hate being on land but I had an important meeting up on Olympus and I'm not allowed to teleport straight there after last time.

So I had to walk. great.

I was about to turn into the street the empire state building was on when I heard a child crying quietly. I doubt anyone else heard it but because of my godly hearing I could.

I stopped dead in my track, much to the annoyance of the New Yorkers behind me.

I contemplated if I should try and find the child or not. Something told me I should. Curse having a conscious.

I ducked into an alley the sound was coming from.

"Hello?" I said "small human?"

I was about to give up when I heard a small voice say "Triton?"

I spun around to see a mortal child holding a Nemo plushie. I racked my brain for a memory of meeting this child.

"Estelle?" I said slowly, remembering meeting my annoying half-brothers little mortal sister a few months ago.

"Triton it is you!" Estelle flung her arms around me, why are humans so fond of hugs? They're horrible "I'm lost"

"Oh that doesn't sound great" I said awkwardly "umm what happened?"

"I was with Percy and then I saw something shiny so I went to see what it was and when I looked up Percy was gone" she started crying harder, hugging my legs harder, cutting off my ichor circulation.

I was tempted to say 'welp that sucks, hope you find him' but something made me have to say "I'll help you find him"

Estelle looked at me this those big eyes of her's "you will"

"Well it's too late to say no now"

"Thank you Triton"

I took her hand in case she saw something shiny again and ran off and wonder what the best way to contact Pers- Percy was. I could walk Estelle home, but that would take too long and I would miss my meeting completey.

So I did something even crazier, "Estelle, how would you like to be the reason I get kicked out of Olympus"

"What?" She said innocently.

"Nothing"

I walked her up to the security guards desk in the empire state building "600th floor please"

"No such floor" the guard said, why we had to go through this every single time I had no idea.

"I am Triton, messenger of the seas, son of Poseidon. I'm here for a meeting"

The security guard looked closely at me then Estelle "you can go up, but not this mortal"

"She's lost"

"So?"

"She's also Percy Jackson's little sister. And he's very protective of her"

"I'm new here I don't know what your talking about"

"He's a big deal!"

The guard sighed tiredly "fine, but I didn't let you in"

"Thank you"

Was this the kind of staff employed to guard the entrance of the home of the gods?? I would have been slightly offended it it didn't work out in my favour.

He handed me a key card for the elevator.

I couldn't take a mortal to Olympus. could I? This was a terrible idea. Ugh I hate having a conscious so much.

We got into the elevator and Estelle asked "is Percy up here?"

"No, but I can contact him and tell him to come get you from up here"

"Ok!"

The elevator doors opened onto mount Olympus which was every bit as beautiful as I remembered.

I quickly sent a iris message to Percy telling him to come get his sister.

"Can we get ice cream?" Estelle asked, looking at me with her baby seal eyes.

I was already late enough for my meeting as it was, what more would five minutes make.

"Fine, quickly though"

We found a small ice cream stand and ordered blueberry ice cream (Estelle's favourite) everyone stared at us. It was incredibly rare to see a mortal on mount Olympus, let alone a mortal child.

We sat on a stone wall to eat our ice-cream. Estelle was still clutching her Nemo plushie.

I have to admit the child had grown on me.

Every now and then a nymph or minor god would look at us but I sent them running with a death stare.

Estelle got the ice cream all over her face as well as Nemo's because she tried to feed him.

A couple of minutes later a very out of breath Percy Jackson burst through the elevator doors. He spotted us, ran over and pulled his sister into a hug."Stella, thank the gods"

"You're welcome" I said, drawing Percy's attention to me.

"Thanks Triton, I really owe you" he gave me a awkward fist bump and turned back to Estelle.

"Let's go back home shall we Stella?"

She nodded and started walking to the elevator but turned around as if she forgot something.

She wrapped her small arms around me and whispered in my ear "thank you for finding me, and for the ice cream"

And this time I hugged back.

I watched Percy take his stisters hand and lead her back to the mortal world while lecturing her about running away.

Let's just say I was VERY late for my meeting but I didn't regret it at all.
