i, I'm Josh Brooks let me tell you a little about me. I go to San Fan high, I'm a huge nerd and future boyfriend to Annabeth Chase. She's honestly the most beautiful girl I've ever met. She has this honey blonde hair curled like a princess, real Californian tan and intense grey eyes.

What really surprised me was that she's not the dumb blonde I suspected when I first met her, in fact she's almost as clever as me and that's saying something.

I've been her best friend for the whole school year and I'm going to ask her out tomorrow after school. She has to say yes. Annabeth has been asked out by pretty much every boy in the school but she rejected all of them.

She must be waiting for me. I look in the mirror as I run through my master plan. I'm not bad looking, not super hot but still good looking with wavy brown hair and blue eyes.

She has to say yes.
Tomorrow Annabeth Chase will be mine.

<•~time skip to after school the next day~•>

I walk over to Annabeth in the car park where she's waiting for her ride. Strange Annabeth always drives herself home (I'm not a stalker just interested in her life, that's all, promise)

She sees me and waves me over. I think my heart is melting.

"What's up you look like your going to explode" I said wiping my sweaty hands on my trousers.

Before she could answer a blue prius with a dented bonnet pulled into the school car park. The driver honked the horn loudly multiple times. This attracted the attention of everyone else who stopped and looked at it.

The car pulled up next to us. Annabeth was beaming.

The window rolled down and a guy probably the same age as us poked his head out.

He had windswept black hair and sea green eyes.

"Wisegirl! I've missed you so much!" he shouted.

"Seaweed brain!" Annabeth yelled.

Wisegirl? Seaweed brain?

How does Annabeth know this thug?

The guy 'Seaweed Brain' got out of his car. They ran towards each other and pressed their lips together.

My Annabeth makeing out with some random stranger with everyone still watching open mouthed. I couldn't take it any longer I strode forwards and pulled the pair apart, they separated fuming

"What do you think your playing at Josh!" the love of my life yelled in my face.

"Some player was kissing you I had to save you" I said confused as to why she wasn't grateful.

"Save me!?, save me!?" her voice was becoming shrill with rage "save me from my own boyfriend"

"Come on babe can't you see we're meant to be together" Without thinking I grabbed the front of her shirt pulling her forwards forcing her lips against mine.

It was bliss, well for a few seconds anyway. The dude punched me in the side while Annabeth kicked me where Apollo don't shine and I staggered backwards.

"Don't you dare mess with my girlfriend again or I will enjoy watching her kick your ass" he said menacingly.

"I'm fed up of this school anyway I'm Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena, official architect of Olympus, Hero of Olympus, One of the Seven, Barer of the sky (A/N and all her other titles).

Annabeth's boyfriend stepped forwards "I'm Percy Jackson, Son of Poseidon (All other titles....)

"Wait" I screamed outraged "you're half-breed scum" The car park was silent

"and proud of it" Annabeth spat in my face.

The couple got into the car and sped of, laughing. Leaving a trail of dust and a stunned silence in their wake.

Maybe it will be easier to get over Annabeth then I thought.
