Hey, I'm Jenifer McFly and this is the story of my crush on my best friend.

Me and my best friend and crush Piper McLean (yep I'm a lesbian, fight me) where having lunch I'm the school canteen and the same thoughts go through my head

"She's not gay" "even if she was she would never like you" "100% straight" "too ugly"

Piper helped me when I was at my lowest. I had just came out as gay and I was getting bullied at school because of it. She yelled at all the bullies and she can be scary if she wants to be. She's an amazing friend- really kind and sticks up for people. It doesn't hurt that she's also really really pretty.

Piper was really excited today- apparently her boyfriend or someone was coming to pick her up. Wait BOYFRIEND! I excused myself and ran to the nearest toilet, locked myself in a cubicle and stared crying. Come on Jennifer you are being stupid of course she doesn't like you. No point crying about it so I unlocked the door and washed my face. The cold water felt good on my skin. I heard the opened and a goddess walked through. Not a actual goddess; it was Piper. And I did not want to see her right now. She saw my face, red and blotchy and pulled me in to a tight hug. "Relationship problems?" She asked. Reluctantly I nodded. Piper has this was of making you spill your darkest secrets in a heartbeat. She pulled out some heart shaped chocolate from out of her pocket.

Piper always seemed to have a endless supply of chocolate whenever I asked she muttered something about 'stupid lovesick siblings.'

I think she knew who my crush was but she didn't say anything which I was grateful for. We sat a disgusting school bathroom and ate caramel chocolate- while I cried.

I met her boyfriend- Jason and he was really nice, perfect for her. I have a girlfriend now, Marty short for Martina and I'm much happier now. Piper even told me she was a daughter of Aphrodite I was so glad she still trusted me.
