"For your homework this week please create a family tree, it's always interesting to find out about your families past. I want lots of detail, due Monday" my history teacher, Mr Place said.

My classmates muttered to each other, nobody likes Mr Place he always sets tones of homework and if it's not good enough he gives you a 2 hour detention.

He especially hates me because I accidentally spilt my milkshake over his 'extremely important' work once.

This homework better be good because Annabeth's visiting on Monday so I can't afford to get a detention.

Real family tree Vs fake family tree I contemplated.

You guessed it I made my life difficult and chose the real family tree. Anyway I'm not good at making up names.

I found some blank paper started writing.

After 2 days, 6 hours, 17 minutes and 56 seconds I had a very complicated looking family tree. It took up 4 pieces of A3 paper.

I titled it "My family tree"

As a afterthought under the title I wrote in small print "this family tree is not complete as my family is very big and there is only so much you can get from Wikipedia"

That's when I think I passed out.

Unfortunately history is last period on Monday so I had to carry my homework around all day.

My friend Brian pointed at it "what's that?" He asked.

"My history homework"

He whistled through his teeth "wow I did mine on the bus this morning"

Finally, last lesson arrived. It had started raining during lunch so I sacrificed my coat to keep it dry. I'm not giving Mr Place any excuse to give me a detention.

The teacher made us walk around and look at each others homework. Maybe I didn't think this through very well.

One of the people said across the room to me "wow, Percy you have a big fami- wait a minute" he looked closer at my awful handwriting "who are you?"

Heh heh this was gonna be hard to explain.

The whole class crowded around my desk. Then they simultaneously looked up at me.

"Look I would love to explain this right now but. I can't" I looked around wildly. Out of the open window I saw Annabeth waiting in the car park. "I gotta go"

I climbed out of the classroom, leaving a screaming class to swarm around the window.

I ran over to my girlfriend "Annabeth" I screamed. She laughed when she saw me "Seaweed brain I thought your school didn't finish for another 10 minutes"

"It doesn't" I panted

I quickly explained what happend.

"Well I guess you can't go back to that school anymore" she said

Annabeth and I made our way back to my apartment after we contacted Chiron to tell him my story. Annabeth opened the door of my room and saw the mess of papers and red string I had bluetacked across the walls. That was going to take a long time to clean up

There will be slow updates for a while as I'm busy with school work and editing previous chapters because I don't think past me knew the meaning of paragraphs.

Stuff that's going to happen to me:
1) I'm having a operation soon it's not very serious, It's just to have one of my teeth uncovered but I have to have a week of school and I'm terrified so wish me luck.

2) for my friends birthday she invited me and one of her other friends to the little mix concert in the O2 and we're also going to a trampoline park, bowling and a sleepover and I'm soooooooo exited
