Diana Roberts' P.O.V
I weaved my way through the crowded halls of my school, keeping my head down so people won't pay attention to me.

I catch a glimpse of my reflection in a window. It would be hard to tell my age from just looking at me, I have a round babyish face but the steely grey eyes filled with wisdom made me look much older then 15.

At least that's what my dad told me before Jake died. Now he can barely look me in the eyes without tears coming to his own.

You see we were twins, me and Jake. Incapable from birth. Despite not being identical we had the same eyes. Dad said we got them from are mother and they were apparently  the 'exact same shade'

I pulled my blond hair around my face in curtains so it was harder for anyone to see my face.

"Hey! Freak!" Rich Flame yelled down the corridor. I knew exactly who he was talking to.

I took a deep breath and turned around. If I wanted to say hidden, dying the tips of my hair turquoise probably wasn't the best idea I've ever had.

"Heyyyy Richard" I said, slowly trying to back away.

"Have you got my Maths homework?"

Reluctantly I pulled the homework out of my backpack and handed it to Rich.

You might be wondering why I don't stand up to Rich, well if he doesn't bully me he'll just go bully someone else. Anyway I actually like doing homework.

"There's a geography worksheet I need to to finish freak-" he said he kept on talking but I wasn't paying attention any more. My crush, Cindy Baker just caught my eye. I've had a crush on Cindy since she joined the school 2 years ago. She's the reason I realised I was bi. She usually stood up for me in front of Rich but she was too far away to help.

Anyway I couldn't just let her fight all my battles for me.

Rich was still talking "You'll have lots of time to do it, with your brother being dead" he said with a smirk.

I snapped out of my gaze "What did you say?"

Rich laughed "I said you'll have lots of time to do my homework after your brother killed himself."

I dug my nails into my palm. "It was I drunk driver" I said through gritted teeth. I knew it was a lie but who would believe me if I told them a huge black dog had killed my brother.

"Oh sure he did" Rich said sarcastically. I felt my anger level rising up and up until it was almost unbearable. "I bet he killed himself to get away from you, freak"

I couldn't contain myself any longer, I slapped him across the face leaving a crimson mark.

I would have hit him again if four people didn't walk straight into the circle that had formed around us. Unaware of anything going on around them.

"What are we even looking for?" A smallish guy wearing all black asked the group.

A girl who looked eerily similar to me looked around, then pointed at me "Her"

I tried to blend back into the crowd but it was too late. 

I heard a growling sound come from behind me, I turned to look but I had already been hit to the ground.

Rich was growing bigger and bigger, claws protruded from his hands and feet. He looked down at me and snarled. The assembled students started screaming but the four newcomers just sighed and pulled out weapons, they set to work, stabbing and shooting at the monster until it had evaporated into dust.

A blond haired guy crouched down next to me and examined my minor injuries.

The girl who looked like me snapped her fingers and everyone stopped screaming.

Another guy with black hair and sea green eyes came over "Hey I'm Percy, over there is Annabeth, Nico and Will. We need you to come with us, we'll explain everything outside"

"W-what?" I stuttered. This was reminding me too much of the night Jake died.

"Everything's going to be alright, you're safe now -?"

"Diana"

I noticed everyone blink a couple of times and look around confused before going about their business. The girl, Annabeth came over to us.
"I made them forget everything that just happened but I'm no Hazel with the mist so we better get out of here just in case our presence makes people remember"

"Let's go then" Nico said.

We made our way towards the exit. I was still shaken but was trying my best not to show it.

"Diana Wait-"  A voice called down the corridor. I turned to see Cindy Baker running after me. My heart skipped a beat.

"Are you ok?" She asked when she reached us "you look. . ."

"I'm fine thanks"

"Anyway," she shoved a crumpled up piece of paper in my hands "I've wanted to give you this for ages. I've like you for- sorry, I'm messing this up"

I unfolded it with shaking hands. A number was written on it in blue biro.

"Call me later?" She asked nervously.

I smiled like an idiot then realised I should probably answer "yeah, I'd like that"

They guy named Percy interjected "Actually demigods can't have phones-"

Annabeth elbowed him

"- but you're cute together so I'm sure you'll work something out"

"And" Annabeth said through gritted teeth "we're not supposed to talk about it"

Cindy laughed slightly "oh it's ok, I'm a daughter of Hekate, the Roman equivalent of Hecate. But I'm not at camp Jupiter becuse the author can't be arsed to fix her plot holes. "

"I'm sorry what?" I asked, still very confused.

"I would have killed that monster earlier but I wasn't sure if he was a mortal or just a very unpleasant human. And I didn't just want to stab a random person just to be sure."

"In that case" Annabeth said "could you make the mist over the mortals eyes stronger, I was going to send someone down anyway"

"Already done!" Cindy said.

"Are you coming back to Camp Half Blood with us?" Will asked. "Romans are always welcome."

"I'd love to" Cindy said, linking arms with me.

"Can somebody tell me what's going on?" I said louder. Nobody answered me.

Long story short as soon as I got to camp I was claimed as a daughter of Athena, and me and Cindy got together not long after that. We would alternate living between the two camps. And I've reached the end of my sentence.
