1 what inspired the idea of your story?

The original inspiration came from, a 13 year old me struggling with my same sex crush, I was really into this girl and I felt like we were honestly doomed from the start. As well we meet at a Youth group! And i'm still struggling with some severe internalized issues about my sexuality, so I kinda start writing about them, 

2 what is something you struggled constructing with your story?

 the timeline, I cannot tell you how many times I've had to completely start from scratch because of the timeline issues, as the story now takes place over the course of close 9 months, and when I originally started it was only going to the course in 3, so as you can probably imagine the timeline was a mess and extremely cluttered,

3 what did you enjoy writing most of your story?

god that's such a hard question, but I think one of my favorite things would be writing the dialogue, as I can very easily hear the characters voices in my head and it helps a lot with deeply emotional scenes!!

4 what's the overall response of your story from your readers?

The majority of people who have read it seem to like it!!! And I get quite bashful about it if I'm honest!!

5 is your story a stand alone novel or a piece of a series ?

it is a standalone in the way the first Iron Man film was, as it is connected to many different stories later on,

6 what would you like your readers to take away from your story?

if nothing else I wouldn't want people to take away, that The world is too gray a label someone a good guy and someone a Bad guy,

As that good guy might save a lot of people, but he hurts more people than you could ever know,

While the Bad guy could hurt people- but save more then anyone would ever know!

7 what advice would you provide to fellow writers, when it comes to focusing on their own story?

making a music playlist can really help set your intentions for a book, especially if all the songs connect to you or the story in someway!! Along with talking about your plot and characters with someone you trust with that information!

8 does your main character share any similarities to yourself?

do you only thing me and ulysses share physically is the bright orange hair, but personality wise we are similar in a few ways, as we are both bleeding hearts Who tend to overlook someone's flaws,

9 what is something about your story you believe would draw in new readers?

I believe that people might be drawn but the plot, and the fact that is a book made for the lgbtq by one of it members, which doesn't just focus on the fact that the characters are lgbtq, as they are just people- well some of them are-

10 do you have any future projects?

yes!! I actually have quite a few projects planned!! And one is it to release next March even!!
