Excerpt: 

   "Aye, rookie eyes over here!" A flash of deeply tanned skin emerged behind the moment of blue and red lights. An uneasy smile died as the male body walked from behind the patrol car to the passenger side wrecked Honda SUV. 

   The rookie's nose was wrinkled from the smell of burnt flesh and the strong smell of gasoline. "What, it's your first time seeing something like this?" Asked the older cop, examining the male and the spit trickling from his lips.

   "Could say that. I was a preschool teacher. The worst I ever saw was a bloody nose from a kid sticking a crayon up his nose." The raven head was still wiping his face clean of saliva. Drawing closer to the wreck, the man entered the ditch from which the car crashed. 

 "A damn crayon. Welcome to Armstrong, boy. You'll see more than your share in no time." 

                     What can a reader expect from your story?

 My readers can expect to see themselves in the shoes of the many characters in this book. I make an effort to try to flesh out the characters and reflect real emotions in this what if scenario of a zombie outbreak taking place.
