1 What is your favourite holiday and why? 

I love Christmas because it means time for the family and forgetting about daily pressures and problems. 

2 Are you still surprised when you get a new vote, comment or follow?

 I definitely am! I joined Wattpad about five years ago but didn't have enough confidence to share any of my stories then. I uploaded my first stories about two months ago and still can't believe that there are actually people who want to read any of my stories. 

3 What is one Wattpad goal?

 Ultimately the biggest Wattpad goal would be to win in the Wattys one day. But one of my goals is to impact people's lives with my stories by making them laugh, think about modern issues or showing them that they're not alone with their problems and that problems can be overcome. 

4 What inspired you to write? 

I always enjoyed stories, reading and writing them myself. My inspiration now are the young people I work with and the many different challenges they face. 

5 What is your favourite thing about Wattpad? 

Wattpad gives you the opportunity to grow as a writer and to make new friends from all over the world. 

6 What is a song you enjoy? Who is the artist? 

One of my favourite songs is Hallelujah, originally sung by Leonard Cohen.

 7 What is a good piece of advice for a newcomer? 

Well, I'm a newcomer myself so I'm not sure how much advice I can give. But it definitely helps remember that most people here are in the same shoes as you, they want people to read their stories. Give their stories a try and don't only wait for others to read yours. You'll be surprised by the talent and great stories you come across here. 

8 How would you celebrate a publishing deal? 

I would probably not stop screaming until my vocal chords snap.

 9 What is your favourite story? 

My favourite story is The Catcher in the Rye. I've honoured this in the opening lines of my novel The Disappointment Kid.

 10 What's your favourite movie?

 That's tricky. One of them is Three Fugitives.

11 How would you enjoy a rainy day?

 Curled up on the couch with a hot cup of tea and a good book.

 The Disappointment Kid It's a story about a young girl who struggles with body issues and family problems. It shows that even serious mental health issues can be overcome and everybody fits in somewhere. If you are a parent, it might make you think about the impact and power parents have on their children.
