1 What's one Wattpad goal? 

I would love to reach 100K reads, not for the fame. But, I'd love to make a difference in as many lives as I can.

2 what's your favorite snack? 

My favorite snack is M & M's.

3 who is your favorite author?

My favorite author is either Jennifer A. Nielsen or Patrick Warburton(aka Lemony Snicket).

 4 how would you celebrate a publishing deal?

I would go out to dinner with my family to celebrate.

 5 what inspired you to write? 

I started writing when I was 5 years old and I've been writing ever since. I guess everyday life inspires me. The fact that I can use my writing to make someone's life better is a huge motivator for me.

6 if you could hang out with your favorite celeb for a day, who would you choose and what would you do?

I would definitely hang out with Michael Clifford, the lead guitarist of 5 Seconds of Summer. I would love to hold a meaningful conversation with him and play guitar with him.

 7 what's your favorite holiday and why? 

My favorite holiday is Christmas because it's Jesus' birthday and I overall love everything that goes with it. I get to spend time with my family and life slows down for a little while.

8 what's your schedule regarding your writing?

Honestly, I have no writing schedule. I wait for the ideas to come to me and I try to write at least once a week, but sometimes it stretches to two weeks. My updates depend on how busy I am or if I have writer's block.

 9 what's a good piece of advice for a newcomer? 

Write what you want, anyway you want. The most important thing when it comes to being an author is being able to love your work even if no one reads it. If you write something and you're proud of it, be patient and wait for others to come along and appreciate it. While you're waiting, put yourself out there and try to support other people's books in the meantime.

The Waves that Follow is a book packed with emotions and heartache. It covers pretty heavy topics including assault and mental health. But, if you can get past that, I hope you'll feel empowered after reading.
