Interview 9 @AwesomeAreej

1 what's your favorite book?

Harry Potter, because of a million reasons. So intense, filled with every emotion, very deep character development, a really beautiful world.

2 what's your favorite holiday and why?

Last ten days of Ramadan and Eid, I get to meet my family after a hectic semester.

3 who is your favorite author?

Khaled Hosseni. He writes very genuinely. Every word seems to come from somewhere close to the author.

4 if you could hang out with your favorite celeb for a day, who would you choose and what would you do?

Celeb... Hmm probably Emma Watson. We would eat together, play charades and talk about real life stuff.

5 Are you still surprised when you get a new vote, follow or comment?

Yes, so much since I haven't updated in almost a year so when I see a new reader, I just get so overwhlemed.

6 what's your schedule regarding your writing?

I used to write almost every week whenever I was filled with any kind of emotion because that is when my writing abilities are heightened. Despite not updating, I still write, but just personal poems.

7 what's your favorite thing about Wattpad?

The readers. The audience. Their views on a writing piece are very important to a good book. Also the platform provided allows everyone to express.

8 what inspired you to write?

Reading, I guess. I was around 10 when I started writing. I used to write about fantasy at first. Kids with a magic evil computer. Frog that had to reach a palace for some reason. These were my first stories. I guess, I wanted to write what I couldn't get to read.

9 what is one Wattpad goal?

1 million reads and updating the last few chapters left of my book Trust Me. I think I left off Trust Me at the place that can be considered as an ending so if one reads the book it doesn't feel incomplete. I think all people regardless of religion enjoy reading it, because I have written extensively about the internal struggles of the characters and how faith is what keeps the character going. It humanizes a Muslim character to people of other religions that are unaware of the struggles of Muslims as people in the world. For Muslims, it ties them back to their faith and revives hope. Overall, it has a suspenseful plot so that engages the reader as well. I would recommend it to all that love reading about emotional rollercoasters and suspense.

10 what's your favorite snack

Fries and icecream depending on my mood.

11 what's your favorite movie?

Avengers series

Anytime this week
