 Confront or challenge their authority. They can't handle confidence.I would suggest signing up for a martial fighting style as an extra precaution.

 I have three currently.I have no plans to celebrate until I hold my books or they're available on Amazon. Then I'll pop open a bottle of champagne!

 Popcorn.

In South Africa, everything closes for December. It means days to write and sometimes I will have finished a novel by January.

I try to write daily but my schedule is based on my muse. Sometimes I don't write for days.

 Anything from Sia, the OST for The Witcher and Hunger/Delilah from Florence and the Machine. 

11 what's a good piece of advice for a newcomer? 

Use technology (writing software/grammar checkers) and advice from other writers (adverb abuse, killing passive voice, eradicate filler words etc.)

Ire of Silver (this year's NaNoWriMo novel) - the response from my readers both on Wattpad and Tapas have been overwhelming. And since I am not ready to pitch it to agents/publishers, it should be on Wattpad for a while.
