interview #2 @-ravenous
1 what inspired you to write?
I don't know really...it was so long ago I can't even remember. But now, my inspiration can come from literally anywhere; a song lyric, someone I see in a public place, or something one of my friends says.
2 what is one Wattpad goal?
I would love to win the wattys. I think that's my aspiration.
3 are you still surprised when you get a new vote, follow or comment?
All the time. I hardly ever get comments and votes from people other then my friends, and so when an unfamiliar person votes and comments it's a little unexpected. A more common occurrence is just random people adding my book to their reading list, and then that's all I hear from them.
4 what's your favorite thing about Wattpad?
I just love how it crashes and sometimes doesn't give me notifications for activity on my page. No but really, I love how you can really decide on the presentation of your story. You can add video content, images, all kinds. Visuals are important to a lot of people on this app.
5 what's the best way to handle a bully?
Alert a person in authority. A teacher or a parent, or just any trusted adult. If you don't have that, be patient, trust God, and try to find someone to share your situation with, and they can help you.
6 how would you spend a rainy day?
The same way I spend every day! Listening to audiobooks, baking or cooking, maybe writing if I can or getting some housework done
7 what's your favorite snack?
Ice cream or McDonald's fries. I could eat those forever.
8 what's your schedule regarding your writing?
I have none whatsoever. It all happens on a whim according to when I have inspiration to write.
9 Who is your favorite author?
I really love Jules Verne! His imagination yet incredible ability to create such realistic circumstances within a fantastical situation is just awe inspiring.
10 what's a song you enjoy? Who is the artist?
I love so so many songs...but the one I'll pick for this question is I Feel Fine by the Beatles!
11 if you could hang out with your favorite celeb for a day, who would you choose and what would you do?
I'd probably ask to hang out with Hunter Hayes since I feel like he and I would connect through our creative process as well as our aspirations as artists. We'd probably just drive around talking about our different forms of art and how we express ourselves, or grab an espresso at a coffee shop.
request time
I'd love for you all to read Ashes for Fireworks! It's a thriller I've been working on involving a lot of grungy gunfire, conflict of emotions vs. mentality and finding who you are on the inside despite the trials you've overcome!
