Annabeth POV:

Hades!, those darn dracnea hit me into the ri..ri..river. It is so so cold, I ne.. need to before body. Ughh... I neeeed to get to shore.

Percy POV:

Annabeth wandered off the trail for scouting. She hasn't been back and I am starting to get worried, what if she is hurt.

That's it I am going to find Annabeth. After wandering for a couple minutes a saw a river with a puddle of blond hair floating at the top. Wait what I maybe an idiot but that is not supposed to be there.

Hold on Annabeth, blond, brain processing processing. NO, I dived into the water and dragged the tatter blond out the water. "Annabeth wake up please" No answer this is when I panic. What do I do? umm, water, cold, wait, didn't Annabeth say something about hypothermia, um. "Come on brain remember," I scolded myself. Yes, skin to skin contact.

Annabeth is going to hate me, but all long and she is alive, I won't care.

I carried her back to the campsite and bring her into the tent. Then the hard part began, I slipped off my clothes and touch the strap of her tank. Ughh, my crush on Annabeth did not make it any harder.

Once she was completely de-clothed (besides her bra and underwear, I am no pervert) I rested her on my chest and lying down on the pillow in the tent. I wrapped a fluffy blanket around us.

Then waited, for 10 straight minutes and with ADHD that felt like 10 straight days, but she finally moved. She cuddled closer into my abs.

Annabeth POV:

I thought that was it I accepted my fate before I passed out I whispered one thing I love you, Perseus Jackson. I knew he would never hear me and he was always too oblivious to notice, but if that was it those were what I wanted my last word to be.

When I finally gained a bit consciousness I thought I was dead, but I woke up on someone's who I recognized as Percy's abs warm and cozy CLOSE TO BUTT NAKED. WHAT, I couldn't say I was truly upset. This was like a dream to be cuddled up with Percy.

Of course, as a daughter of Athena, I knew skin to skin contact was the fastest was to cure hypothermia. I also knew I told Percy that exact thing. I guess he can be less of a Seaweed brain when he wants to be.

I really didn' t want to get up so I cuddled closer trying to pretend to be asleep.

We lied there for what must have been hours me and Percy together until we both finally fell asleep.

I will say now that was the best sleep of my life
