Fundy was dreading this conversation. Dream took the kitsune to a clearing- where the man knew Schlatt wouldn't pry. Fundy sat in the grass looking up at Dream curiously. What on earth did Dream want to talk about? His tail thumped on the ground despite his composed posture. Dream didn't sound happy...

"I haven't told Schlatt this, but..." Dream looked away from Fundy. He rubbed his neck and sighed.

Fundy smiled sympathetically at his future husband. "Take your time."

But, in the back of his head, he knew what their relationship would entail. Dream's melancholy tone was all he needed to know, but might as well be polite about it. Dream flinched when Fundy placed a hair on his arm. Yeah... The fox knew where this was going.

"I, uh, think the wedding should be here! Not in a castle."

Fundy blinked. Wait. Wait! The wedding wasn't off! The fox gave himself a little victory in his head. His crush actually liked him... Fundy's face went red as he realized his tail thumps were louder. He grabbed the wagging tail- embarrassed at how easily he could be read- and played with the fur.

"Really?" He asked shly.

"Yeah, castles are... overrated. Besides, it's beautiful here." Dream nodded curtly, "I, uh... didn't know if Schlatt would be against the idea. But, figured you could convince him."

Fundy smiled. Dream trusted him. He liked him back- enough to marry the kitsune. "I'll do my best!"

Dream dreaded everything. He couldn't do it. The way Fundy's tail fell before he could break his heart... The kid deserves better. He deserves to marry someone he loves. But, what if his crush is hopeless in love already?

Dream sighs, staring up at his ceiling.
